Chapter Thirty-four

The outing with Bianca and Liam and Alexia went well. Alexia had called Bella few minutes after they got to the shopping mall that she and Liam were close to the mall so they all decided to hangout after buying the rest of the things they needed for decoration.

It was almost 9pm when Bella got home. She didn't bother eating dinner she just went straight to her room.

Bella heard a knock on her door as soon as she got on her bed.

"It must be my mum." She muttered to herself before going to get the door.

"Annyeonghaseyo Noona" Jayden said pushing Bella slightly out of the way so he could enter the room and Kayden followed doing the same.

" I never asked you guys to come in. Why are you here." Bella asked them with a glare.

"Sis. Are you okay?" Kayden asked

"Yes am fine, why do you ask?" Bella said wondering why he thinks she's not okay.

"neo jeongmal gwaenchanh ni Noona?"Jayden asked

"Jay you can be so annoying sometimes. Can't you communicate in a language everyone understands?" Kayden said with an eye roll

"Noona and Catty understands so you can go to hell for all I care." Jayden replied with his tongue out.

"Am fine . Really." Bella said in all seriousness.

"Okay then, so why was Chris here?"  Jayden asked

"Are you guys a thing now?" Kayden said

"No guys we aren't a thing, he just dropped me off because he wanted to say hi to mum." Bella said

"But why did he feel the need to though?" Kayden asked with an eye roll.

"Do you like him?" Jayden asked

"God No ! No I don't like him . I don't like him at all" Bella answered immediately and she could feel the butterflies in her belly which caused her cheek to burn.

"Sis you're blushing." Kayden said smiling?

"You must really like him then for you to be blushing this hard." Jayden added.

"Get out of my room right now you two." Bella said standing up from her bed with pillow in her hands to chase them out.

"How's the planning going?" Jayden asked.

"It's going on fine." Bella answered

"Where is the proposal holding? Kayden asked

"It's a surprise. Now get the hell out." Bella said Closing the door with a bang.

"Sis you don't have to be embarrassed." Kayden shouted so Bella could hear him

"At least we know it now that you have a heart. Mum was starting to get worried that you'll die a virgin." Jayden shouted so Bella could hear him .

Bella couldn't reply them both because she felt so embarrassed.

"But I don't think I like Chris. Fine his friendly caring and all of that but I don't like him in a romantic way." Bella thought to herself.

Bella knew she had to start treatment as soon as possible so she had to talk to her mum.

"Knock! knock!. Mum are you still awake?" Bella asked

"Yes darling come in" Vera replied

Bella let herself into the room and sat on the bed. Vera who was lying on the bed also sat up.

"I found out mum" Bella said

"About what?" Vera asked wanting to be sure about what she was talking .

"That I lost some of my memory." Bella said

"Am sorry I didn't tell you darling. I just didn't want to hurt your feelings."  Vera said

"Mum, have always had that hunch like something wasn't right. I actually found it strange when Christian told me we met at 2015 Gala. I totally had no clue that I attended the event even though it wasn't an event I could forget easily and I remember telling Bianca few months to the event that my birthday was two day to the gala event but I couldn't even remember celebrating my seventeenth birthday, that was how I knew something was wrong so I called you and Bianca but none of picked my call so I had no choice than to talk to Christian and he explained a few things to me." Bella said

"You must have been really upset that I didn't tell you darling, I just didn't want to hurt your feelings." Vera said

"I know mum and I'm sorry I put you through all of that. You must be really disappointed in me." Bella said crying while her mum pulled her in for a hug.

"It's okay dear. It's okay to make mistakes my dear. Am glad you're safe and I'll do everything to help you regain your memory. Just let me know when you're ready." Vera said

"Am ready mum. Am free tomorrow, can we go see the doctor?" Bella said in excitement.

"Okay I'll Call Tatiana." Vera replied

"Aunt Ana was my doctor? Bella asked with wide eyes.

"Yes she was the only one I could trust at the time to save my daughter's life. It was a miracle that you came out of the car without a scratch because the taxi driver didn't make it out alive." Vera said thinking back.

"What?!" Bella asked with wide eyes.

"Yes Ella, it was a miracle. I taught I was going to loose you when I saw that the car was a total wreck but I was wrong. Vera said.

" Come with me ." Vera said standing up from the bed

Vera took  to Bella to her laptop and played the video clip of the accident

Bella saw her body lying there lifeless. Thankfully she was sat at the back of the passenger's seat so the effect wasn't too much on her because according to Vera the driver died on spot and Bella could see clearly why in the clip.

"How did you get this clip?" Bella asked

"Luckily for us there was CCTV camera at the scene." Vera replied

"What of the truck driver?" Bella

He's in jail for murder

What? How's that so, it was just an accident

No darling it wasn't an accident. It was premeditated murder. The Driver had an affair with the truck driver's wife, he found out an decided to kill the driver for sleeping with his wife. What actually got me surprised with the whole situation was that they were best of friends. Apparently the wife has been sleeping with the driver before they got married so all their kids belong to the driver. The truck driver had a low sperm count so he couldn't have his own kids. He found it really hard to believe that he was impotent because he had kids. He conducted DNA on the three kids and none was his so he went home to confront his wife then found her in bed with his best friend. He killed his wife on the spot but the best friend was able to escape so he tracked him down and killed him too. He said he didn't know he had a passenger in the car.

Wow am actually very shocked.

I know darling. You must have been terrified.

Obviously mum. I would have been terrified but I do feel for the truck driver although he shouldn't have taken law into his hands and I really feel for the kids. The might get separated when they get adopted into different families.

Yes , I feel for the kids. So let me call Tatiana to know if she'll be available to see us tomorrow .

Ok mum let me know what she says goodnight. I said kissing her on the cheek before leaving her room. I just hope everything goes well tomorrow
