THE NEXT MORNING

"Hello, Monica." Aiden nodded at Monica after she entered Damien's office. Aiden nodded at her curtly while giving Damien a small side look.

"Hi, Aiden! Nice meeting you!" Monica replied cheerfully. "Hi, Damien." She turned to look at him with the same smile. But there was a small change, her smile turned a little flirtatious when she smiled at Damien.

Damien just gave her a small nod, his face was blank. He turned back to look at Aiden who was already looking at him.

"We will talk later." He said and Aiden nodded at him.

He got up with a tight smile.

"I will take your leave now." He said to Damien and Damien nodded at him in reply. He walked toward the door and stopped in front of Monica who was still standing by the door with a bigger smile on her face. She was happy seeing him leave her and Damien alone. "Bye, Monica." He said with a small smile.

He didn't feel like flattering her as he usually does.
