Lovey Dovey
Thomas sat in front of Maya, looking directly into her eyes. Maya quickly avoided his gaze, she blushed with her ear turning red, smiling like a bewitching angel. Her beauty was astonishing under the glow of the fireflies. If all the people in the academy were to see the breathtaking beauty of Maya, everywhere will be in an uproar.
Maya took a breath and looked at Thomas,
"Happy birthday" her soothing voice was barely audible. She held her hand tightly, playing with her fingernails.
"Thank you" Thomas replied with a slight smile on his face. He was pleased seeing the abundant delicacies all over the table.
Thomas had already forgotten about what he said yesterday, he merely said that to dissuade her from being annoyed. He wouldn't have known that she would take it seriously.
Thomas stared at Maya without uttering a word, he didn't know how to react to what Maya was asking from him. Seeing the piercing gaze, Maya felt shy, she blinked.
