Thomas stood under a big tree, gazing at the early morning. The midnight campaign had been a success and he was pleased. The formation was a complete success. He was surprised by the effectiveness of the formation.
Watching as the early sun rose, Thomas contemplated various matters. Taking a deep breath, he sighed.
Thomas was enjoying the morning breeze when a creak was heard from behind. Thomas didn't bother to turn back. Since he didn't detect any killing intent from behind, he chooses to ignore it.
An elderly woman walked beside Thomas, looking at him with a complicated expression.
Thomas turned to her and glanced at her before turning forward-looking at the forest. The silent morning was cool while the sound of insects and animals were heard inside the forest.
