Beyond Earth

"Fear is a feeling, but it tends to run deeper than that. It's like a virus. Resilient and highly contagious. And even the smallest seed of it can grow to destroy you." °°°°°° It's the year 2280. Airborne particles were invented with the intent to eradicate diseases but instead they become radioactive, toxic and severely deadly to anyone who breathes in even a tiny amount. The world becomes a dystopia and is uninhabitable. With time running out for humans on earth, Hiro Tachibana is one of the scientists that has to find out if a new planet is fit for habitation. But when people start turning up dead on the spaceship and there are more questions than answers, Hiro realizes that he may not be able to trust anyone. Not even himself. Chapter 68

The only reason why I was skeptical of the plan was because Kamal said the horde contained tens of thousands of infected and only the ones that were in the lead will avoid the stronghold after picking up Ezra's scent but I was counting on their herd mentality. If the ones at the lead choose to avoid the stronghold, there was a high chance of the ones in the middle and the rear doing the same because groups of infected tended to react coherently to something.

"We should also put his clothes on the streets of the stronghold for good measure," Zeke said and his dad raised his brows.

"And where, pray tell, will we get that much clothes because I'm sure the clothes here won't even be able to surround the stronghold," the man replied and Zeke took in a deep breathas he clasped his hands.

"Yes, he doesn't have a lot of clothes here. But we all know where a lot of his clothes are," Zeke announced and I snorted as I realized what he was trying to say.
