Chapter 45

ENNY

We were all waiting in the pickup truck for Daniel to come out of the residential building where he went to talk to Cassandra. I was in the bed of the truck with Carina, Faye and Clareta while Hae In, Zeke, Cheri and Viviana were in the truck. Two duffle bags containing guns and ammo were next to Carina while three backpacks containing glass bottles were next to me.

Lorenzo, Derek and a couple of other boys my age were in the pickup truck behind ours. They were following us because Lorenzo and Derek also wanted to teach the boys that were in the truck with them how to use a gun.

The bottles were for target practice when we get to the field. Carina told us that we were also going to use cans for practice too and the cans were behind the houses where the stalkers lived. The field she was going to teach me how to use a gun in was also behind their houses.
