Ben followed Cisco's directions and found himself in front of Jitters where a man in yellow and green tights was firing hail at the Flash. Ben thought of Heatblast and started firing fireballs without transforming. The man didn't see Ben as he got struck in the side by a fireball and it pushed him into a wall.
"Fireballs?" Barry asked as he put glowing handcuffs on the bad guy.
"Yeah, like I said, a lot of abilities here," He shrugged his gauntlet arm.
The man now in cuffs was called the Weather Wizard and he can control the weather and the aspects of it.
"Wanna go grab that coffee now?" Barry asked after handing the bad guy to a cop that pulled up on scene.
"Sure, is here good?" Ben asked.
"Yeah, but I'm staying in my suit for now because it would look suspicious if I changed and was here with you since you don't use a disguise," Barry replied.
Ben didn't think of that. He was so used to having his identity out in the open that he didn't take into consideration interacting with the people that do have secret identities.
"Well, it doesn't seem like anyone saw me aside from that officer. I guess I'll have to get a secret identity so we can hang out like normal," He said.
Barry smiled.
"Well, if you have trouble thinking of a hero name, Cisco could help you. He's been naming most of the villains here and I bet he'd come up with something cool and suitable for you," Barry patted Ben's shoulder.
"Thanks but I already came up with one," Ben replied.
"Oh? What is it?"
"I was thinking...Omni," Ben grinned.
----------------------------
"Omni? As in omnipotent?" asked Cisco when Barry and Ben returned to S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Sort of, but it's really a nod to the Omnitrix, this thing," He said pointing at his gauntleted arm.
"Okay, I can accept that but what are you going to do to keep your identity under wraps?"
"I'm planning on just using the Omnitrix's battle suit function that I made," Ben shrugged.
"Battle suit?" Barry and Cisco questioned.
Ben laughed and told them to pay attention. Holding his left wrist in front of him, he pushed the green hourglass symbol while thinking of 'Battle Mode'. In a flash of green light, the gauntlet spread up his neck and moved along his whole body head to toe. After the light subsided, the two other men saw Ben covered in a black and green metallic suit that looked flexible. A black helmet covered his head while a green hourglass visor covered his face. On the chest of the suit sat the same symbol slightly raised on a silver, circular platform.
"Woah," the men exclaimed.
"Yeah, I added some extra functions to the Omnitrix while I was in my early twenties and there was a galactic war many times the size I was used to," Ben sighed, remembering all the deaths of his allies.
"Anyway," He quickly gathered himself, "I think this'll do in protecting my identity."
"Dude, this is so cool. You made this for real?" Cisco asked excitedly.
"Yeah, with the help of my smartest aliens," Ben said.
That halted both Barry and Cisco.
"Aliens?" they asked simultaneously.
Ben realized that he didn't share the main purpose of the watch.
"Ha, yeah. The Omnitrix's original use helped me turn into aliens from all over the universe and even collect new DNA along the way. In my mid-twenties, I tinkered with it so that I don't have to transform to use the aliens abilities though I do sometimes transform anyway for nostalgia," He explained.
Both of the men had their mouths agape in shock as they tried to process that.
"Wait, did you make the Omnitrix?" Barry asked.
"Haha, hell no. It all started when I was 10 years old…," Ben gave them a really simplified story of how he acquired the watch, how Azmuth made it, and how the watch worked.
"Wow," Cisco muttered.
"So you can scan new alien DNA and instantly know how to use it?" Barry asked.
"Yeah, why? Got some interesting aliens here?" Ben joked.
Barry nodded while thinking of Superman and the Martian Manhunter. If Ben scanned them, then wouldn't he be one of the strongest beings here?
While Barry and Cisco were digesting this information, Ben's notification signal in the battle suit visor was flashing.
Ben told them he had to talk to an A.I. in his suit that finally booted up. Despite Cisco's massive interest at the mention of a fully functional A.I., he and Barry let Ben use a room adjacent to the common area. Ben instantly called out to the A.I. when he closed the door behind him.
"Trix?" He said.
"I'm up and running again Mr. Tennyson," a digitized female voice spoke in his ears.
"Awesome. So, have you scanned this world yet?" He asked.
"Yes. We are on a Earth very similar to our own but we are many light years away from our universe. Should you use Alien X to return?" she asked.
"Hm," Ben thought for a moment. He wasnt in a hurry to return to his Earth as his team and the Plumbers would take care of things and he wanted to see what this Earth had to offer.
"Good suggestion but let's stay for a while, Trix," Ben mused after thinking, "how long would it take to send a message to our Earth?" he asked.
"Calculating… around two weeks Sir.," Trix answered.
"Ok, I want you to send a message to Grandpa Max that I'm alright but in another universe at the moment and want to explore for a while. Tell him not to try to send anyone and that I think this would be good for me rather than sitting in my house all day messing with tech," Ben instructed his A.I.
"Done, Mr. Tennyson. It should reach him in two weeks," she chimed, "What will you do now?"
"For now?" He grinned as he opened the door to the common area, "let's explore."
This story is gonna be made up of short chapters mostly. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy. Like I said in this story's description, I gave him master control and a few new things, hence the battle suit and A.I. This Ben 10,000 is kind of a mix of the 3-4 versions that were shown in the show but his actual look is based off of the OG one. I might do some art for the cover later on but idk.
