" I got you a man you can marry , for

your birthday" .

My eyes stared at him and then at Balu.

He was looking at me too. Deep black

eyes that gave me chills.

" Ok, of course that's normal . No reason

why I should fucking say No" , my voice

got higher by the end . My dad took my

hand from Balu's and held it in his two

hands.

" Jenny, there is something I didn't tell

you" , he said and I looked at him

confused. " The one who made that

engagement was your mom. And I wish

to fulfill her wish ".

It was mom's idea. No wonder.

" Fine . " I looked at Balu's once more

and he gave me a tiny smile.

" Thank for the present " .

" That's not the end of this, dear" my dad

went to search his bag and came back

with two rings in his hand.

" Ought to make it official " he held out

the rings and gave me a smile.

" Put it on" .

And I did, and so did Balu.

I have a fiance now. I never even had a

boyfriend before.

Balu took of from the chair and held my

hand. " Come on, we got to go".

His hand was warm now. " Wait, go

where? "

" To school , and in noon you're meeting

my parents" he said and I sighed.

" You go to the same school as me? "

He nodded and so did my dad .

" Since when? I never seen you" .

" Thanks for never noticing me. I actually

knew you because of your dad but I

swore an owe I won't do anything till

today" he held my hand tighter.

" And the day finally came".

" So you knew" , I said processing my

thoughts. " How long?"

" About a week. Let's go or we gonna be

late" he dragged me along and I

stumbled after him .

" See you later " my dad said as I walked

out of the house holding hands with

Balu.

I got in his car and sat next to him.

I breathed in and out .

" Why are you fine with this" , I asked him

He was looking forward and he turned to

look at me.

He's really handsome. And above all my

type. I held my breath.

"I wasn't at first. But then i saw you .

getting late to class , smiling at the

teacher with your pretty eyes. "

He got closer to me , my hand was still

in his. " I don't know why , but you

intrigue me" .

I smiled "Your taste is good ,o my gosh"

I smiled and he did too .

He got closer to me and his cup touched

my head.

I leaned in closer . knock knock.

We broke apart fast and I turned around

with my cheeks flashes.

It was Vimal.

I rolled down the window and he looked

down at me as he bended.

" Tell me. who's that dude. now"

His blue eyes were focused on me and I

felt uncomfortable in that situation.

" Someone you don't know , now go

we're getting late" . I started to roll the

window up.

" Are you serious. I saw you almost

kissing in there. tell me I'm wrong " ,

he stared at me " you're mine" .

Balu turned his head and looked at me.

" You're not wrong. and I'm not yours.

We're nothing but neighbors Vimal" .

I will up the window and turned to Balu.

He was looking at me .

" Aren't you gonna drive ?" I asked.

He smiled at me " I am, hold tight" .

He took off and the car speed went up

higher and higher .

A scream slipped my mouth.

" you're crazy. hehehe" He laughed too .

" You're gonna be my wife . You're my

responsibility. I can't let you be late .

hehe" .

". yeah. sure , tell yourself that" I grabbed

his hand hard . " you just wanted to

drive in full speed for fun" .

He laughed " You got me there"

" Right on spot" .

We cane close to school and a thought

just slipped my mind . .

" Wait , what's your last name?".

" Lakes" .

I started at him "What Lakes?"

" You know another Lakes?" He smiled at

me .

" Dude , you're super rich" I looked at him

shocked.

" Is that why my mom chose you?" I

asked him with a shocked voice.

" Hehe. Not only. " His laughed softened ,

" She was my mom's best friend. After

her death , it affected us as well" .

" I never knew about that" .

He held my hand and grasped his fingers

between mine. I got closer to him and

he put a hand on face.

His lips were close to mine and his cup

rubbed through my hair .

I went closer and kissed him.

He took in my kiss and pulled me closer

with his hand.

after we broke apart his black eyes were

so close to me. And I sank in them . I

pulled him into another kiss and he

smiled at my kiss.

" We should go now" He whispered on

me .

" yeah "

We got out of the car holding hands and

headed towards the gates.
