Sorrowful situation of the barren land's people.
After a little rest in the camp and eating the delicious fish, they walked their way toward the barren town. The next few hours of the walk was eventless and they had entered the barren land completely with no trees or fauna of any type.
"I don't think this is normal, never seen a place like this before, to be honest," Alicia spoke while looking around, there were cracks on the dried light brown soil. Every step made the cracks wider yet they were still small.
Kyle looked around and spat in disgust, the natural feeling of flora, and the good air was something everyone should get. But the land had a stench of death. Kyle could smell a distinct element that he didn't know about. He couldn't put a grasp on it as his mana circuit and perception were not that good to use an unknown entity properly.
He could only leave it for now but the curiosity was still there. The element felt dangerous but also useful in his eyes.
