Chapter 9:I hope we get along well

They got home, went to the restaurant to have lunch and and Rosalinda went straight to her room.

She couldn't stop thinking about what Emma said about Noah, she started to feel bad.

' I didn't know he was going through a lot and gosh, I should have just let him go '

' What he's going through might be why he's acting like that '

She thought and kept sighing, she thought of what she would do, she thought and thought and finally reached her conclusion, then she thought of Levi ' I wonder how everything was in school on his side ' and she decided to go to his room.

She heard him talking to someone and entered and she waited for him to finish.

' Who are you talking to? '

' My friend '

' You made a friend already? '

' They were actually two?

' So, you've made two friends, while I'm struggling to make one '

' You have Felicity '.

' She's a friend but not much of one, for now, I guess '

' You know I told you there's someone I got into a disagreement with, I know him somewhere but I can't figure it out ' she added.

' Okay,so what's that got to do with me? '

' Nothing, it's just bothering me, I heard his sister is missing and I guess that's why he's so cold towards everyone, he must be going through a lot despite the fact that his family is rich, I shouldn't have prolonged the argument '

' It's okay, the rich also cry, you know?, you don't have to feel guilty '

' What if I apologize, from the way he is now, I doubt he will listen to me '

' You can give it a try '

' Ok, so how was school on your side? '

' Oh give me a break, it's boring on one side '

' You mean classes? '

' Absolutely, but the other side?, talk about how most of the girls wanted to be friends with me '

' Lucky you ' she said and smiled.

' I'll be going with my 'two friends' to play video games '

' Ok, so I better get going ' she said and left Levi's room, he went out shortly after.

The next morning,they started their usual morning routine and went to school.

They parted at the entrance and Rosalinda and Felicity went to class, Rosalinda scanned the room and Noah was there,and as usual,not talking to anybody, she walked silently to her seat and would steal glances at him,then Ivy walked to her and pulled her out of her chair. 'what the hell is wrong with you '

' just want to talk to you for a minute ' ,she took her to the hallway.

' who do you think you are ' Rosalinda asked.

' I should be asking you that,I saw what you were doing back there '

' What? '

' Don't even think about it '...

... In the classroom...

' Emma ' Jade and Oliver shouted together and Emma looked back instantly.

' You two ' she walked towards them smiling.

' I thought you will be back tomorrow ' she added.

' Yeah, you were right but change of plans, what could we possibly do ' Jade said.

' It's so nice that you're back ' Emma said.

' By the way, where's Felicity, I miss her so much ' Oliver said.

' What, so you're telling me you don't miss me ? '

' Don't worry, I missed you ' Jade patted her back.

' No, I mean... '

' Don't worry, how could I not, you're Emma after all ',he said.

' Well, I saw Felicity going out earlier '

' What could she be doing ' Oliver asked.

' Oh, you haven't heard,we have a new girl with us,her name is Rosalinda and she is very intelligent I must say, I'm eager to know if she would be a match for Charlie or Ivy not to talk of Noah ' Emma said.

' She can never be a match for Noah ' Oliver replied.

' Well, here comes Felicity and new girl,I guess ' Jade said.

Felicity sighted the three of them and ran forward to hug Jade. ' I missed you, I thought you will be back tomorrow '

' I missed you too,we thought it would be better if we resume school today '

' It seems I'm invisible here ' Oliver joked.

' I'm sorry, welcome back ' Felicity patted his back.

' That's it?' he asked.

' What more can I do? '

' Enough of the greetings, what did you and the new girl talk about? ' Emma asked.

' Well, for starters, you should use her name, it's Rosalinda, she won't be happy to know you refer to her as new girl often, well, we met in the hallway, we just talked about some things ' she explained and they continued chatting.

Rosalinda watched them from her seat,Noah left the classroom and she thought. ' What a load of bullshit ' ,she thought back to what Ivy told her just now. ' I shouldn't think about liking him? and what? I shouldn't make it obvious ' she scoffed.

' Who does she think she is '

' I guess I shouldn't apologize anymore or she would think we're dating already '

' Maybe she didn't mean it badly '

' But she better don't mean it '

She thought of many things, she thought of talking to her but they had class so she brushed the thought off.

The teacher was coming but Noah came in first.

' Class greet ' the class president said and the class started.

It was English class, to Rosalinda's surprise, Noah participated in the class. ' I guess he loves English ' and she focused too. The class lasted for a while and the next teacher isn't coming anytime soon, so they did something else and Noah went out of the class and she wondered where he's always going, then she saw Jade walking towards her.

'Hi I'm Jade and that's my twin brother over there she pointed to where Oliver was.

' His name is Oliver '

' I'm Rosalinda ',she said and saw Ivy looking at her and she looked away and asked

' What's her deal '

' who?, oh you mean Ivy? '

' Yeah '

' Just ignore her '

' And Noah?, is he her brother? '

' No, they aren't even close to being families, she's just..., um how should I put it?, I can't say they're friends because Noah wouldn't even talk to her, more like she likes him but Noah didn't like her back ' Jade explained.

' Interesting '

' Just ignore her okay?, I gotta go but I hope we get along well, Jade left and Rosalinda thought of what she'll do next, she promised to find out herself.
