Chapter 4: Ready to leave

' I'm back ' Mia came in. 'mom, where's dad?'she asked

' He went out earlier,he should be back in few minutes'

' where did he go?

Rosalinda walked in on them,and Stella answered ' he went to see his friends,to say goodbye I guess '.

' Dad said he wants to say something when you're back ' Rosalinda said looking Mia.

' He called me before when I was in office and told me ,I didn't know he'll not be here when I'm back'.

' Rose, please get me some water ' Mia added.

'okay'

Rosalinda left to the kitchen and met Levi there eating her returned hamburgers. ' I thought you were sleeping? ,are you in pain? ' Levi asked when he saw how she was walking.

' intense pain and I nearly devoured those hamburgers ' she sighed.

' you're lucky you didn't or I'll make you do twenty sit-ups '

' right '

' What's taking you so long ? ' Mia shouted and they both can hear her.

' what? ' Levi asked

' she told me to get some water and I totally forgot'

She took the water and went to the living room and handed it to Mia and Stella went inside.

' Levi and you seem to get along well and you and I don't,why is that?' Mia asked .

' Are you jealous? '

' isn't that obvious? '

' Well, Levi is a good listener and I like his company,he seems to give me that confident vibe '

' Okay,if you say so , let's watch some movies before dad comes ' Mia said.

...Few minutes later...

' Dad welcome ' They said simultaneously.

' Thanks' Henry replied .

Then Stella and Levi walked in on them and everyone sat.

' So are we all set to go?'Henry asked.

' Yes,we are , right?' Stella said and looked at Levi and Rosalinda and they said 'yes '

' Okay so Mia,I wanted to tell you that your apartment is ready,I went there after leaving my friends' place and you should also move when we do,is that okay?' Henry asked looking at her.

' That's good ' she replied.

'Okay so let's pack the few things that are left and go on our way,we don't want to leave at night' Henry concluded.

Then everyone except Henry went inside and to do as they are told meanwhile, Henry went outside to see if the van is waiting outside , so they kept bringing out their belongings and Henry and Levi helped the driver to put then in the van.

After they finished, Stella asked Henry, 'how would Mia pack her things?

' My friend will help her with his van, I thought I should put her in the care of someone I know, he'll be here in a moment '

The family waited for Henry's friend and it took a while for him to arrive.

' I'm sorry I'm late ' Henry's friend said .

' NO problem, please take care of her ' Henry said and turned to Mia, ' I'll visit you sometimes , okay?'

' Okay dad ' she replied.

They helped Mia to carry her belongings and after everything is set they turned to look at their house, more like their former home, Henry locked the house and handed the key to the security and gave the driver the address of their new home,but Mia went with her father's friend in the same van and bid them farewell, the other van left too , so the rest went ahead and went through buses till they finally reached their destination.

The driver waited for them and not long, the family arrived, they unloaded the luggages, paid the driver and he he left.

Henry went to collect the key while the other stayed with the their things, the door was opened and they started carrying their things inside.

' Mom, Rosalinda and I will take a walk when we are through 'Levi said and looked at Rosalinda and she nodded in approval, they waited for their mom to answer and she replied ' let's finish this first and tell your dad? '

' Sounds good to me ' Rosalinda said.

After some time, they finished and decided to look around the house, from the restaurant to the actual house.

' This place seems nice, I kind of like it ' Rosalinda said.

' Tell me about it ' Levi concurred

' I told you so ' Stella said.

' Dad, we want to take a walk ' Levi said

' No, not now, let's call your sister and we'll clean the restaurant too, after that, you can go '

They called Mia using Henry's phone.

' We've arrived, what about you? ' Henry was the first to speak

' Yes, I have, the place is quite nice '

' This place is good too, take care of yourself and we'll call you everyday ' Stella said and Henry kept the call.

' I didn't even get to say anything ' Rosalinda said.

' Call her yourself later ' Henry replied looking at Levi and her.

' I want to know where my room will be ' Levi said .

' Me too '

They picked their room and cleaned everywhere.

' We are leaving ' Levi shouted.

' Okay, both of you should be here by 6:30 and be careful ' Henry replied.

The duo left the house, and Levi said ' we should know the routes of our new neighborhood, that's why we're taking this walk '

' I see , so are we gonna run through here tomorrow?, I mean for the running '

' Yes ',he said and they continued walking.

' I'll take the door ' Stella said to Henry and went to open the door.

' Good day , I'm Mrs, Bradley and this is my daughter, Felicity, we are your neighbor next door '

' Nice to meet you, come in '

Mrs Bradley was in her forties and Felicity was Rosalinda's age.

' Our children are not home '

' It's okay, we just thought to say hi '

' Nice to meet you , I'm Felicity ' She said.

' Oh, sweet child' Stella said.

' I'm Stella '

' I'm Henry '

' I hope we get along well ' Henry said.

' After Mrs Bradley and Felicity left, Stella and Henry watched the Tv.
