Chapter 5

Abigail didn't pay much attention to what Xavier said, she couldn't if she wanted to because of the stares she was getting. It seemed like everyone in the audience had a beef with her, the way they all looked at her was like they wanted to kill her at the spot.

Especially the lady that sat next to Jeffery, she didn't know her but it seemed like the lady knew her very well to be giving her that look. 

"Congratulations Mr Quinn" Those were the only words that Abigail could register in her mind. She turned in the direction where she heard the voice and she saw the MC shaking hands with Xavier before turning to her and offering a warm smile.
