Emmy's Beasts Children

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. When she looked at what she had given birth to, she was shocked. Eggs. She had given birth to eggs. And there were six. What happened to the eggs? I love you

Another bright day began for Desmond.

Desmond changed into an expensive set of clothes, the money he had planned to use to buy a company had been used to buy these expensive clothes. He had thought that a company for sale wouldn't be worth much, but it turned out to be more expensive than he had imagined. Instead of paying slowly, he used the money to purchase clothes. Desmond didn't like doing things gradually or separately, so he planned to acquire more money to buy the company in one go. With no morning class scheduled, Desmond was free. He left the school, donned a mask as he reached the entrance, and headed to a store that sold and bought gemstones.

OL Gemstone Store

Desmond lightly knocked on the table and placed five ordinary-looking stones on it. "Check how much these are worth," he spoke coldly.

The attendant at the counter looked at the ordinary stones and frowned. Upon looking at Desmond and his attire, the attendant's frown lessened, realizing not to underestimate the ordinary stones in Desmond's possession. He picked up a sharp object and started peeling one of the stones.

The moment he peeled off a part of the stone, it emitted a glowing shine. Shocked, the attendant started shaking. "Young man, please have a seat," he offered, returning the stones to Desmond and leading him to a VIP room. "I will summon the Boss right away," he quickly left, fearful that Desmond might grow impatient.

After a brief wait, a middle-aged man with a big belly arrived, followed by the earlier attendant. The middle-aged man sat in front of Desmond and placed his hands on the table. "I heard you have real gems with you and wish to trade them."

Desmond remained silent and simply placed the stones on the table.

At first glance, the middle-aged man's mouth twitched upon seeing the ordinary stones. However, when his gaze landed on a particular stone that was glowing brightly like a ray of light, he was nearly wide-eyed in shock, his heart racing. He carefully picked up the stone and examined it as if it were a newborn baby. "Real! It is indeed real! I have never seen a gemstone this rich in my entire life! Haha!" The man did not hesitate and peeled off the other stones as well, with each revealing a glowing quality. "Haha! I am a billionaire now! Haha!" He inwardly screamed.

Desmond simply looked on at the elated man but remained silent.

After regaining his composure, the middle-aged man looked at Desmond's masked face. Uncertain if Desmond was incredibly wealthy to be giving away such valuable items or if he was ignorant of the stones' worth, he decided to test him.

"Erm... how about I purchase all ten million?" he inquired, hoping for a reaction from Desmond, whose mask concealed his expression.

Desmond was taken aback, as he had expected to negotiate and sell the stones for five million in total, not realizing each was worth two million. Understanding that humans typically would not offer the full price at the first negotiation and sensing insincerity from the man, Desmond decided to play it cool. He shook his head slightly and coldly replied, "I might as well sell it to someone else; you don't seem very interested." As he reached out to retrieve the stones, the middle-aged man hastily pulled them towards himself.

"Young man, I was only joking," he chuckled nervously. "Fifty million! Fifty million! Please, young man, sell these to us," he implored, acknowledging that Desmond was not an ordinary individual.

"I see," Desmond thought to himself. Realizing the offered price was more than sufficient for his needs, he decided to sell. "Alright, I'll sell them to you," he said with a meaningful look towards the middle-aged man. "Since you will want your profit," he added.

The middle-aged man was left speechless, pondering whether Desmond wasn't selling due to financial needs. With surprise, he retrieved a card from his pocket containing fifty million and handed it to Desmond, quickly securing the stones in his large pocket. "The card holds fifty million, no password. We would love to collaborate with you in the future."

Desmond lightly nodded and departed.

Once Desmond left, the middle-aged man retrieved his phone and placed a call. "Hello, James. New gems have arrived at our store; are you interested?" he inquired.

"I hope they're not worthless; you didn't sell us fake stones, but the stones you've sold us before weren't exactly authentic either," James replied mockingly.

"Relax, come over and take a look; however, one stone is priced at two billion," the middle-aged man stated.

James fell silent before responding, "I'll be there shortly. But consider this a warning: if they're not worth that amount, forget about payment

Deal, I will be expecting you," the middle-aged man with a big belly replied.

The call was disconnected.

At a tea shop.

"Here are the documents, the company is now yours," an average-looking man handed a brown paper to Desmond.

Desmond took the paper, removed the documents inside, and scanned them carefully. After confirming everything, he handed the bag that was sitting on the ground beside him to the man. "Here is your money," he said.

"Thank you, thank you very much," the man said as he took the bag and left immediately.

After the man left, Desmond took out his newly bought phone from his pocket and called someone. "Yes... I need you to construct something for me... alright, we will meet next week." Desmond's conversation with the person was brief, and the call was disconnected shortly after. He left the tea shop with the documents in hand.

At O Rock School, Medical Department, Class A.

Returning to school, Desmond went straight to the class after changing back into his normal clothes. He was lucky as the afternoon class had yet to start. He went to his seat, picked up a book, and started reading.

Mina, who sat at the last seat, wanted to go to him ask him where he had been in the morning as she hadn't seen him at the school, but she didn't have the courage to do so. She pretended to read but occasionally stole glances at Desmond.

Suddenly, a shadow covered Desmond, and Mina whose attention was always on Desmond clenched her fist in anger. Only if she was brave enough to confess her feelings to him but she couldn't, she didn't even have the courage.

The owner of the shadow was a pretty lady in a white coat, her face as red as a tomato, and her gaze fixed on Desmond. "I would like to talk to you, Desmond," Shaolin said, not sparing Mina a glance.

"I don't have time," Desmond's voice was cold and chilling as he didn't even bother to raise his head.

Shaolin's face became even redder in embarrassment. She removed a red card from her long coat sleeve and placed it on Desmond's table.

Desmond saw the red card and took a deep breath. He packed his books and got ready to leave.

Mina was unhappy that Desmond was about to leave again, but she dared not say anything.

Seeing that Desmond was about to leave, Shaolin quickly stopped him. "Desmond, I... I just... I just want to be your girlfriend... I love you,"

Everyone in the class was shocked, and Mina started feeling uneasy.
