Batman: Ghost

Hmmm! So this is Gotham city. My father used to tell me stories of how beautiful this city was. It saddens me to see how drastically different it is now. The streets are littered with filth and trash. I can't afford to waste time. "It's time for ghost to go to work!"

The next day.

Gotham University.

"Good morning class today we have a new student Please introduce yourself."

(tim)"Oh hey steph, cass we got a new student!"

(stephanie)"Oh yeah I wonder what he's like"

(cass)...

Hmmm guess I gotta introduce myself. " Hello my name is Dante It's nice to meet everyone!" I should probably give them a smile. Eh whatever any way let me take my seat. Huh who's that? She's beautiful. No not the time to lose focus!

(tim)"hey cass the new guy's staring at you."

(stephanie)" uh-oh someones got a crush on you."

(cass)"hmm."

(dante) Oh man I think those two saw me that's embarrassing. Class is almost over though so it shouldn't be too big of a problem. "thank god class is finally over Why did my cover have to be a school student." I start to leave the school when I hear a voice call out to me.

(tim)" yo dante wait up man."

(dante) Oh great what do these people want? wait a minute it's the girl from earlier. "Yo what's up guy's! how can I help you?"

(tim)" sorry we didn't get introduced in class my names Tim, That's stephanie, And this is Cassandra."

(stephanie)"Hi."

(cass)" hello."

(dante)" hello everyone nice to meet you guys. Anyway what's up? I doubt you guys chased after me just to introduce yourselves." I wonder why they followed me maybe I upset cassandra.

(stephanie)" We saw you staring at cass earlier and wanted to know if you wanted to take her on a date."

(dante) Whoa how the hell did they reach that conclusion? I don't want to be rude It's not like i wouldn't mind it. ugh whatever I can afford to enjoy one night. "Sure! I'd absolutely love too as long as it's ok with the pretty lady."

(cass)"fine."

(dante) She's not much of a talker huh!? I can respect that. "alright then how about tomorrow at six?" that should give me plenty of time to take care of things tonight and prepare.

(cass)'ok."

(dante)" Here's my number send me your address and I'll see you tomorrow." You know this doesn't seem like such a bad idea this should be fun. As I turn to leave I see two guys messing with a student. She asks them several times to leave her alone, but they just keep pushing. Guess I should step in. I walk over to the guys and place my hand overtop one of their arms.

(thug1)"Hey who the hell are you."

(dante)"Someone who doesn't like to be pissed off! Now the lady said let her go."

(thug1)"Or what huh? what are you gonna do about it."

(dante)"I'll break you! you piece of shit," I gave him a warning. I strengthen my grip and break his arm. "I warned you didn't i now if you don't want me to break the other one you two will leave. Now!

(student)" Thank you for helping me."

(dante)" No problem don't mention it just go home and stay out of trouble alright." I go to take my leave and i see the others staring at me. "Yo what's you guys look like you just saw a GHOST."

(tim)"Oh sorry man just didn't expect you to be able to break someones arm so easily."

(dante)" Yeah well When you grow up like I did doing something like that is a walk in the park, trust I've done it plenty of times usually it's enough to scare off the idiots who think they're tough. Anyway I've rambled on long enough I'll see you tomorrow cass." And with that i finally take my leave.

Hours later.

(dante)" the sun has finally gone down it's time to begin the hunt!" I put on my suit coupled with a Black emotionless face mask and pull the hood over my face. "Now then ghost-net activate! Ghost-net show me all information on the current target. the ghost-net pulls up a picture of deathstroke and the league of assassins. "He's supposed to be having a meeting tonight by the diamond district. Let's go"

With that I jump off the roof preforming a leap of faith and before I hit the ground I use my grapple blade to swing me to the next building and the next until I reach my destination.

When I arrive i notice it's quiet something doesn't feel right I sneak into the building using my ghost-net to detect any traps and when I notice it's clear I descend into the room full of bodies. "This is bad."

(batman)" Yes it is bad for you."

(ghost)" Batman it's an honor to meet you."

(batman)" Who are you and why did you kill these people?"

(ghost)" trust me this isn't my handiwork. This is savage slaughter i prefer things a little more Intimate if you will."

I make my way to a window as robin, red robin, spoiler, and orphan burst in.

(ghost)" Aw you guys all showed up just for little old me I'm touched, but you kids should leave this table is reserved for the big boys."

(robin)" We'll see if you can look down on us in the ICU."

(ghost)" You really are a child. Arrogance!"

he swings his sword at me with his sword i jump over him grabbing him by his collar and slam him into the floor disarming him. At the sight of this the others all rush me. Red robin swings his staff at me. I grab it yanking him towards me and knock him down with a clothesline. Before i can knock him out spoiler and orphan attack me together keeping me from finishing red robin.

(ghost)" Hmmm Is all you bird babies can do? I heard you guys were supposed to be great fighters all i see is a group of losers flying under hiding under the bats shadow!

Orphan and spoiler resume their attacks. Spoiler attacks me from the left with her staff while orphan attacks with her swords form the right, I dodge spoilers staff and parry orphans swords. I then grab orphans wrist and throw her into spoiler Distancing myself from the two.

(ghost)" Hmm you two are good especially you bat-babe, but I think it's time for the big boys to play."

I stare at batman and he readies himself. For this fight I'll need to get serious. he throws his batarangs at me I deflect one and catch the other sending it back I pull out my sword and attack him. Right left over head slash. He blocks it all countering my overhead slash with an elbow to my face . The hit sends me reeling as I deliver a spinning round house kick knocking him back. I engage him again with my sword this time he uses his gauntlets to snap the sword. he hits me with a Gut punch as i slash at him with the shattered blade. He grabs my arms lifts me up and slams me into a nearby wall. I head-butt him and bend him over my knee with the blade to his neck. He flips over disarms me and shoulder toss's me across the room.

He runs at me and throws a left kick to my chest I catch it and hit him in the chest with a left. it stumbles him I throw a right and he puts his hand into my chest and slams me on the floor. he goes to punch me and I kick him in the chest knocking him back and getting back to my feet when I hear the police coming.

(ghost)" Damn bat you're good, but It's time to call it quits for tonight. Whether you believe me or not doesn't matter, I didn't kill those men. I'm after the people who did and I'm sure you're already acquainted with them."

As I say that I head towards the window to leave .

(batman)" If you had anything to do with this I'll catch you."

(ghost)" Catch me!? Like a ghost batman I was never even here."

(batman)"Ghost hmmm?"

(ghost)" damn That orphan girl she actually cut me." Those guys are good very good hopefully I don't make a habit of running into them I'm actually kind of tired.

"Finally home Ghost-net connect suit to alert system set to shock if there are intruders." and with that i went to sleep.
