(Steven's POV & A little introduction on him)

After a long while and distance, Her car stopped in a remote area, in front of a large gate, and with the low walls, one could easily see the things inside, from the outside, even from the inside of a car.
The scene was filled with dark green and some colourful things. And anyone with a good eye sight could tell that the inside of the boundary was filled with green plants and all fully bloomed flowers, even all of them were appearing dark due to the black night.
My car was parked a little distance away from hers, so I could easily see her black shadow like silhouette. She didn't get out but stayed in the car with her head bent down a little on the steering wheel.
The night was darkening and no other lives were present nearby except our two cars, so I could clearly hear her cries which were escaping her mouth. Then suddenly...
"Ahhhhhh! WHY?! WHY? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO? COULDN'T YOU FIGHT A LITTLE MORE?! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED?! YOU Could have been saved!"
Elina's sudden loud yell mixed with her crying slowly quitened down as only her cries were left.
I was in pain after losing Miss Elizabeth. But hearing her moanful screams, the ache in my heart worsened. I had never seen her cry before and now that I was seeing her breakdown, I wanted to go near her and took her in my arms and say, "Don't worry! I'm here for you!"
But I couldn't do that. Not yet!
So at the moment, the only thing I could do was clenching my hands together tightly, as I felt my nails digging my skin apart and going in.
"Sir?"
I broke out of my self-hurting state, when I heard Jeremy, my driver's voice as I looked towards him through the rearview mirror with a raised brow. Worries were evident in his eyes as he again opened his mouth, "Sir, are you okay? Will you like to go and comfort the Miss in the car?"
The only thing I liked about Jeremy, this driver of mine is that no matter how cold I behave to him, he would always look at me with worry and care. He's a middle aged man and after his young wife's death in his prime age, he didn't remarry and so he always took care of me like his own son, after getting this job.
And clearly if I could say, Miss Elizabeth was the mother figure in my life, Mr. Jeremy is the father figure.
So, later I also started to open up to him and he more or less knew about Elina. And I bet, he had already guessed that the lady in the car is her.
"Sir?"
"Oh yeah! Umm... no. Let's wait!" I had again dazed off, I bet so he again broke my daze.
After sometime, Elina's cries stopped and her car engine again came back to life, as she started to drive and turn back.
Luckily, Jeremy had fast reflexes as he had already hidden our car in some bushes nearby. So as soon as Elina's car turned and left, Jeremy also started the car and followed it.
Then, it stopped in front of another large gate. This time, she pressed the horn twice in front of it, and soon enough the gate was opened by two guards who saluted the car when it entered through the gate.
My lips stressed to form a smirk as I muttered inwardly, "Oh... so this where you stay, huh? Elina Lewis?"
At least, despite the chaos, in my life, I found out where the love of my life stayed. And then, it wasn't that difficult to know about her daily life and her lifestyle.
So, despite the difficulty, I got admitted to the same university with her, in the middle of the year. And there it was... the news that made me the happiest man ever.
She was still single and her opinion on getting a boyfriend was, "No Dating While Still Studying!"
So, I planned all of my future steps so that I could approacg her and change her opinion asap and make her mine before anyone does.
And then came the opportunity. The cafe where she workef, was going to be sold by the owner. And without any further ado, I negotiated the contract and bought it.
Since, her school days, I had known that she was fond of cookies and pastries. So, in my off-time, I had learnt how to bake them. And even though I couldn't say that I was a pro in baking, I could confidently say that mine wasn't the worst, but second in place.
From the top of course... not from BOTTOM.
The only thing I needed tp learn was the coffee art. But it wasn't that easy, you know.
It took me two days to learn cappuccino and a week to learn latte art. At first, I had even thought, the cappuccino and latte was same. But heck it was...!
Black coffee and normal coffee was easy to make, so I mastered it within few hours.
But, I knew that it wasn't easy for my staffs at home to get tortured by me, with my novice coffee making skills. And so when they were praising me with their mouths, their facial expressions gave them out.
So to compensate for the loss of their appetites and their first enthusiasm when I stated that I would make coffee for them which later changed to their heart and stomach aches, I gave all of them a good eye-warming bonuses.
And after two weeks of torture and almost making my kitchen a battlefield of coffee powder and milk, that fateful day finally arrived.
I got the chance to come face to face with my long time crush and my beloved girl, Elina Lewis.
I clearly saying that I was awe-struck when I saw her perfect front profile. From my childhood to until now, I had often looked at her front distance and only saw her side profiles. But as beautiful her side profile was, her front profile was also the best.
Everything about her was the best.
And when I found that she was also mesmerized by me, I couldn't help myself but tease her a little to compensate myself for my broken heart. And gosh! Her blushing face was so alluring and attractive that I almost pounced on her devoured her.
But then... I heard her words. I almost felt that the ground under me shook and moved away, only with those words of her!
"Girlfriend? What Girlfriend? I already have a boyfriend. And Oh yes! You made me remember one good point!" She paused and looked at my face and then again continued, "Don't talk nonsense in front of the customers. You had almost stopped our business right after it bloomed! You should know what to talk and what not to!"
I couldn't help but tightly purse my lips, in fear that I would cussed out loud and make her hate me. Still, I couldn't take it in and digest the fact that she already had a boyfriend.
But when? I had always followed her closely, and she would always deny any lovey-dovey proposal which comes to her way! Then how?
And who?
I clenched my hands tightly as I felt a sudden urge to kill that person and make him disappear from our world completely... a world that is only meant for me, Steven and her, Elina. No one else can come in here. No one!
So when I saw her hesitating to speak something, I didn't give her another chance, fearing that her words might trigger the demon inside of me.
"You don't have to say anything, Elina. I understood. It's partly my fault. I should have asked you more about you before I took the situation in my hands." I bluntly said and when she was stammering to say something more, I again cut off her words, "So, when are you breaking up with your boyfriend?"
And just as my words fell, I saw her face becoming bright red due to anger and that face comforted a little bit to my injured heart.
'Well, at least, making her angry isn't that bad!' I thought, but her next words brought my dark thoughts back.
"Next Life!" She said and got busied in her work again.
Later, after work, I had initiated to break the awkward silence and our cold treatment to each other, by taking her home, and yet she refused.
Well, I let her be. It was already a long day and I didn't want to prolong the night.
The future was limitless, and I didn't want to make it short with my tactless words so I let her be and headed to the opposite direction.
To my next destiny, of course.
