Chapter 36, Revival

I open my eyes and in front of me everyone is present. I summon a mirror and look at myself. Long blue hair held back by Haruki's tie. I'm taller that Haruki and Haruka. Sky blue eyes and fair white skin. I'm dressed in Haruka's clothes and the clothes that were given to Haruki by the Familiars.

"Something wrong?" I asked.

"Haruk- no, I mean Haru. Nice to meet you." Master said.

"Geez. Why so formal." I said. "I'm Haruki and Haruka as one. They're right here. I'm only their body."

"Of course you are!" Clover says and slings his hand over my shoulder. "So what's the plan?"

"First things first. I need to change." I said. "This is kinda uncomfortable."

"Sure." Lita smiled.

"Be right back." I said and teleported to the ship.

I open the door to the room Haruki and Haruka prepared for me. They left me an array of clothes to choose from.

I change into black sleeveless turtle neck shirt with

black pant that are tucked into white boots with golden trimmings. The shirt has slevees but their detached, hanging by the side of the shirt and fall to the wrist. Their white with trimmings of gold and blue and a fading hue of silver that rise from the wrist. A sleeveless white coat that falls a few inches over the ground, the coat which is white had trimmings of gold and blue. A blue line down the collar that falls to the bottom trimmings. A belt of brown hue with a solid gold buckle that serves as storage space which features the Tsuki Family seal. I fix the matching necklace, a deep blue gem carved into the shape of a crescent, slip on the black fingerless gloves and take the sword that accompanies the ensemble. A black sheath with wave like adorments. I unsheath it slight and see that it's a katana, a special one at that. It's made from the fangs of the Byakko, the beast that is said to slice the moon. Byakko no Kiba.

I head back down to regroup with the others to find everyone unconscious on the ground, everyone but the Guardians and the Titans.

"What happened?" I asked.

"We don't know either. They all suddenly collapsed." Helios said.

"We tried everything to wake them up." Artemis says. "We don't know why they won't wake up."

I walk over to Aria and check her carefully. Nothing wrong at all, only sleeping.

"Hmmm..." I checked everyone and then noticed a web like bruise on Luna's shoulder. "What is this?"

"This is... the Spider's Trap." Hades said as he looked at it. "It's likely, that the Drifter devoured their souls."

"How? She's trapped in the mirror." Yuri asked.

"Where's the mirror?" I demanded.

"Over here." Mnemosyne said and I noticed the crack on the glass.

"There we too many souls collected and the mirror couldn't hold all of them." I said as I looked at the mirror. "She must've escaped and since she was hungry, she devoured everyone's soul."

"So, how do we track her down?" Hermes asked.

"Easy." I said and touched my belt and a spear materializes in my hand.

A sharp spear of silver hue with a blue gem at the spear head and accented with roses from the body to the hilt.

"Move away for a bit." I said and they moved away a bit. "Hmmm... north of here."

"What is north of here?" Athena asked.

I threw the spear and it flew off with leaving a trail of red in its path. North of here is where she fled along with everyone's soul. The spear can hunt down any enemy once it has been targetted, it is said that there's no escape from the spear. The spear that cuts the skies, the embodiment of the storm. The Whirlwind Spear.

An explosion of light that towers to the heavens shines a few seconds later and soon rays of light return to our friends who are unconscious and one by one they wake up.

"Yo, how was the nap?" I asked them.

"Ugh... what happened? All I remember was a black light attacking me." Takeshi said.

While Hermes explains things to everyone I wait for the Whirlwind Spear to return. When it does, it hovers a few meters in the air before lowering itself to me.

"Look's like she's finally dead." I said and sighed as the spear dissipated in small silver lights. "Now then, what to do about the souls that we captured."

"I think resealing the Titans is the best course of action." Elias-san said.

"I'm not sure about that." I answered. "It's likely that that woman has been using them, since long ago to destroy this world."

"Then what do you plan to do?" Linlin asked.

"For now..." I held the mirror to the sky. "I'll let the souls out so they can finally reincarnate."

Small orbs of light fly up to the sky and slowly, one by one disappear. Then, that leaves the Titans' souls. I pick them out and transfer them into souls stones.

"What do you plan to do with them?" Mnemosyne asked.

"That's something I'll deal with later." I said. "Next, is liberating Luna's home from the influence of the Titans."

"And the remaining Guardians?" Hera asked.

"Oh, that's right." I said and activated the spell. "Since they've already been gathered here in the first place."

"W-what's happening?" Hermes asked as he glowed brighter.

"Hermes, I free you from the shackles that bind you." I said and a collar appeared on their necks. "I see, that's the restraints they gave you."

"Will you be able to undo it?" Ryu asked.

"Servants who have been chosen by my ancestors, I hereby liberate you from your prisons." I said and the collars shattered. "Do as you please and be free."

"Our brethren... what will become of their bodies?" Hyperion asked.

"Nothing to fear." I said and held the marbles to the sky.

"What did you do?" Themis asked.

"I placed a special condition on them." I said as I headed out to where they were.

"Human, what have you done to us?" Chronus asked.

"I have simply placed a Condition. If you go against it you'll die." I said. "The Condition is, to protect this continent."

"If that is your will." He said.

"You seem rather obedient." I said.

"It is shameful that that accursed woman controlled us, we shall accept the mercy you have given us." He said. "One is foolish to not accept it."

"Then all that's left is to restore the memories of everyone who was under your control." I said and Mnemosyne nodded.

We headed to the Royal Capital, Zeus City. The whole city, everyone here has been possessed and under deep hypnosis. I guess there's a strong and powerful mind control spell over the people here. I nod to Mnemosyne and she raises her hand to the sky.

I watch, a large scale magical circle appears over the entire city that was filled made with beautiful architecture and magnificent buildings, a vibrant castle at the back. The magical circle slowly begins to whither away and disappear. The people of the town fall into unconsciousness and we head for the castle.

There, a woman and man, passed out and dressed in royal clothing.

"They seem fine..." Luna said as tears dripped down her cheek. "Haru, thank you so much."

"It's their wish." I smiled and then the two started to regain consciousness.

"Luna?" The woman said, she had wavy brown hair and golden eyes. "W-what happened? W-who are these people?"

"Mom, it's fine, they're the ones that saved us." She said.

"Saved us? Hmmm... I remember now. That witch how dare she attack us!!" Her father, the man with a broad build brown hair and black eyes said. "Thank you."

"It's our pleasure." I smiled. "Luna, we'll be heading back to the north, what about you?"

"I'll go with." She said and hugged me. "I want... to stay by your side."

"Then, I'll give you a special mirror." I said and pulled out a full body mirror from storage. "This mirror links directly to my mansion, you can use it to visit her there."

Luna explains things to her parents while I prepare a Traveller's Mirror for Elias-san and the shop. I also prepare one for Ver-san and Priscilla-baa-san. After discussing some things I prepare a direct portal to the ship since they all want to ride the ship back.

When we are on the deck of the ship, we wave goodbye to the West and set our sights for the Aerial Isles. As we are riding the ship into the sunset many thoughts fill my head. The girls join me and I forget my worries just for now.

It's been a long day, so much has happened and I'm exhuasted. There are many unanswered questions, many problems left to face but I'll forget them for now, as we stand by the light of the scarlet sun that amrks the end. The end of the long, long journey that the two have taken to be revived as me once more. The things they've held dear, the things they've protected, things they've learned, I'll accept them all.
