Time of His Life

"Shiena?"

The intoxicated Ayensi muttered after Shiena dropped him on the bed. Feeling the softness of the bed, he felt comfortable and pulled the blanket up. He was not cold, he would never be cold but the texture the envelops him gives him a sense of relaxation.

Shiena sat beside him as he slept and stared with a dark face. She then whispered.

"Am I not sufficient to be your woman? We've been together for the longest time yet this is the only time I've seen this side of yours."

"Do you not like this side?"

Ayensi's voice then replied to her. She looked and saw that his eyes slowly opened and looked at her. His eyes quivered as if there was hidden anxiety which he was feeling.

Shiena was speechless and lowered her head.

"If I knew it before, I would've begun to love it sooner."

She then peeked and saw Ayensi's surprised expression. It was not only a surprise but a pleasant surprise.
