Captain Gragan wanted to scream more of his confusion but Spirit pressed her foot harder to make him stop.

"I'm sorry for his words, Master Yensi!"

"Wha-uf!?"

With a bow, Spirit pressed harder when Gragan reacted to her words.

"It's fine. Let him go." Ayensi waved his hand before entering the door from which Spirit exited.

"..." Spirit was speechless from Ayensi's reaction. However, she still obediently released her foot from Gragan. She followed her master and closed the door after ordering the captain.

"Don't come in."

Clack* the door closed, leaving them two alone inside again.

Not knowing what Ayensi was about to say nor what he was about to do, Spirit kept quiet.

"Spirit, do you want your father back?"

Spirit's eyes widened. The only words that can come out of her mouth right now were "Yes, Master Yensi!..." but soon, she lowered her head, "However, that is impossible. Death is not something I can do about."
