Mordecai Black was born around 400 years ago into a powerful and humble wizarding family known for their dark magic. Mordecai was the youngest of three siblings. However, he was often overshadowed by his older brothers, who were both exceptionally talented wizards.
Mordecai had a predilection for power and recognition from a young age. He was envious of his brother’s abilities and constantly sought ways to outshine them. This deep-seated jealousy and need for validation fueled his ambition and desire for greatness.
As he grew older, he became increasingly infatuated with the Dark Arts. Mordecai noticed that the Black bloodline's duty was to protect the weaker ones as well as the world, which was sealed at the time by the ancestral spirits. Mordecai did his duty by protecting the weaker ones, but he also realized that was not his goal. As a result, he resolved to delve deeper into the forbidden knowledge of dark magic and master all the dark curses and spells.
