After that day, the girl began trying her best to settle in her new home, while trying to better the skills she knew in order to survive now, she will have to do many things and work harder, for there were goals she had her mind set on and in order to achieve them, she needed to step forward. 

Approximately one month later, after she began living with her uncle, she made a lot of new friends and honed many of her skills, for she had to begin working soon, that was the deal she made with her uncle, who was willing to help her in any way he could. 

One day, while taking a few things to the brothel, whose women had helped her out with a lot of things, she noticed a few guards from the royal palace rushing by, hitting her aside in the process. 

Due to this she bumped into someone and apologized quickly but at the same time, her eyes glowed and the person glanced at her with his eyes narrowed. 

'What the hell was that? I noticed that... Something has been off about me lately...' She thought then bowed her head to the person and his brows furrowed as he got a glance at the side of her face as she left and her hair blew up. 

"Who was that?" He asked the man beside him, who was dressed like a noble. 

"I don't know, she is just a girl in the city, come on, we have things to take care of," The man responded then he nodded and both of them left. 

When the girl arrived at the brothel, she plopped down on a couch and placed the bag she was carrying beside her, before holding onto her chest, which felt heavy at the time. 

"Kid, is this too much for you? Do you want to start working at the brothel instead?" A woman who was in her mid-forties asked Adiria and the girl looked up at her as she smiled. 

"Never..." She mumbled. 

"Aww... Too bad, you are pretty you would fit right in," She said with a grin, which sent a shiver up Adiria's spine. 

'What a relentless manager, she is like a demon, she will do anything to recruit someone once she had her eyes on them, the others warned me about this before...' She thought with a nervous smile on her face as the woman got closer to her and her brows twitched in irritation. 

'All of my instincts are screaming run or I won't get to ever live a normal life again,' She thought as she stood up and the woman glanced at her. 

"Let's just talk for a bit," She said. 

"Adiria, go," The woman who helped with her makeover said as she arrived. 

The girl bowed her head then rushed off, at the speed of lightning and the girls within the brothel laughed as the woman exhaled deeply. 

"This is one of the reasons, I hate..." She mumbled when she saw a woman dressed in the attire of a rich woman, being watched by men, whose face was covered and her brows furrowed, wondering what was going on. 

"Are they targeting her? Isn't that woman from the royal palace? I think I have seen her somewhere before, well, whatever, it's none of my business, let them handle their crap on their own," She mumbled as she walked away. 

Just after leaving, she heard a scream coming from the same alley and she came to a halt and then lowered her gaze, while gritting her teeth, not wanting to move but then she scoffed. 

"Curse my feeling," She shouted as she rushed off, when she saw the woman running from them and the girl approached one of the stalls, selling peppers and she grabbed onto the woman's arm. 

"Get behind me," She said and the woman glanced at her. 

Adiria pulled the cloth under the powdered pepper, causing it to fly in the faces of the ones, trying to attack the woman and everyone saw and the vendor gasped as the men screamed in pain. 

"Picking on a helpless woman? Have some shame, you bastards!" She said, after which she picked up a bamboo from the ground and began beating the man. 

"Amazing..." The woman mumbled while staring at Adiria with sparkling eyes and just then, the guards came and Adiria glanced at them. 

"Some guards you are, don't you know how to do your job or do you want me to do it for you?" She asked then glanced at the woman with her eyes narrowed. 

"Ma'am, the rich one will pay for your loss, I am sorry," She said, bowing her head to the vendor and the woman smiled at her. 

Before the lady could say anything to Adiria for saving her, Adiria left and the lady exhaled deeply, thinking about how the young girl helped her. 

"I am returning to the palace for the day, do me a favor and find the girl who just saved me, I want to thank her personally, drag her to the palace if need be," She said as she got into her carriage and left, while the guards looked at each other, before shrugging. 

Later that day, after saving the woman from the palace, Adiria who was tired from all of the nonsense, had to go for a job interview at the palace, one which the ones from the brothel got for her as a favor, for her uncle. 

Upon arriving at the palace, the guards checked her before allowing her to enter, just like everyone else, who was there for an interview, since there were many job openings. 

"This place is so big, I might get lost, I am so hungry as well, saving her made me run late and didn't even get to eat, you should compensate me with food..." She mumbled before exhaling deeply. 

A few minutes later, a servant of the palace approached her and took her to the quarter where the selection for the jobs was happening and upon arriving there, she noticed a few guards were at the door. 

"Please excuse me," She said and both of them looked at each other then at her. 

'It's her, isn't it?" One asked and the other nodded. 

Just as the one, who had to select them was arriving, the guards approached her, apologizing and she looked at them as well as everyone else and they grabbed onto each of her arms. 

"Hey, wh- What the hell do you think you are doing?" She asked as they lifted her up, taking her out of the room. 

The one who came to select the new employees saw and his eyes narrowed as he looked at her and everyone else left staring, for they had no idea what was going on nor did she.
