Changes

The guy's eyes trembled as he stared at her, wondering what was going on, for he knew he sensed no magical energy coming from the girl earlier nor did she seem as though she had such abilities. 

What happened, confused the young man and he stood up then looked at her and noticed that her behavior was weird and his brows furrowed as he stepped forward. 

Adiria's eyes glowed brightly as she glanced at him and the aura behind her began forming two piercing eyes, which made him flinch, as the pressure from her got stronger, so much, that he could feel it from where he was standing, which was still quite some distance, trying to push him down and he gritted his teeth with his eyes widened, wondering what was going on with her at the time. 

"What the hell is going on here? What the hell are you?" He shouted and she glanced at him with a smirk on her face and her eyes changing colours. 

"What am I? I don't know but I know, it's someone you shouldn't have tried to kill, I escaped death before, I have no intention of letting it grab me," She responded and he exhaled deeply. 

"I will kill you..." He mumbled as his body began glowing and flaming blades, which were curved, began spinning around him as he looked at her with anger in his eyes. 

'What's going on with me? Why do I feel as though I have little control over my body and what's going on with it right now? I am confused, my body feels as though it is burning up from the inside,' She thought. 

[Relax, let the heat that you are feeling within your body flow and pay attention to what is going on with you.]

"Who is that?" She asked as she looked around but couldn't see anyone near her, wondering whose voice that was and why it sounded as though it was within her head. 

Just as she was trying to figure things out, her eyes landed on the passed-out child on the ground and she began feeling a bit dizzy but knew that she had to protect him, no matter what happened. 

"I will protect him, I will not let any of you kill him," She mumbled as she lowered her gaze and the guy rushed off towards her but, she noticed that she couldn't quite sense his presence. 

'Where is he?' She wondered when she felt a sudden jolt from her right side and she turned around. 

At the same time, the guy appeared in front of her and a blade appeared in her hand, blocking his attack. 

"Found you," She said with a smirk and he flinched as she pushed him back. 

"Well, there is something definitely wrong with her, the way she is behaving especially, it's as though another part of her is coming forth, let's see how long you can keep this up for," He added with a smirk. 

The guy released multiple flaming blades towards her, all of which were coming in different directions and he used that along with the fact that he could slightly hide his presence, to his advantage, looking for an opening to strike her down. 

Adiria lifted her blade, which extended a bit and it began glowing purple as small sparks began appearing on it and all she focused on was her surroundings and a way to defeat the guy as well as protect the child, nothing else. 

Before the lades could get near her, she released an energy stroke from her blade, which upon impact caused them to explode in a purple-like flame. 

Due to how close she was to the explosion, he sent er crashing across the ground but she regained her balance and stood up. 

'Damn it, my body was already bruised enough now that, just great, I feel like my body is burning up and so is the energy within me, why is this happening? What's happening to me?' She wondered. 

Just as she was about to make a move, she sensed the guy reappearing near her and her eyes widened as she shifted her body downwards, avoiding his blade. 

Before he could strike her with his flames, which had formed in the palm of his right hand, the girl flicked over him, moving her blade to her side. 

When the guy turned around he felt something by his neck and she looked at him with a piercing look in her eyes. 

"Call it quits," She said and just when he was about to lift his arm up, she slashed it. 

His eyes widened as blood spewed everywhere then she struck him by his legs, so that he wouldn't be able to move around much and he fell to the ground on his knees. 

The girl, who was slightly weak at the time, walked past him and went to the child, where she crouched down and then placed her blade down by her side. 

"Kid, are you okay?" She asked as she took him into her arms and he opened his eyes a little bit and all he saw was bruises and blood running down the side of her face. 

"Adiria...." He mumbled before falling unconscious once more with tears flowing down the side of his cheeks and her brows furrowed as she passed her hand through his hair, before sighing. 

"It's okay, you are safe now... I will not let anything happen to you, if your father has done wrong things, that doesn't mean you have to bear that burden, you don't have to pay for anyone's sin, I wish you can grow up, with different values.... You are a good kid, after all, you have your mother's blood as well..." She mumbled as she began seeing blurry. 

"You are going to regret doing what you did today, no one who meddles in our plans live to see much longer, do you think you can stop this? This is not only fate but something they had long coming, all who stand against us will fall, starting here," He said. 

Adiria's eyes narrowed as he rushed forth and she grabbed then got up so fast that before his bade could get near her, hers was already by his neck. 

"Die," She said as her blade sliced through his neck in a flash of purple and his eyes widened as his body fell to the ground as well as his head and blood splattered onto the ground. 

Adiria's eyes narrowed as she looked at his body, drowning in a pool of blood, with little to no emotions in her eyes and right at that moment, she fell to the ground, near the child, unconscious.
