Tu Rong nodded again, but then her expression shifted into curiosity.
"Why am I leaving?" Lu Sheng asked aloud. He sighed softly, "I have a very urgent task, something far away from the clan, and no one can know about it. It's much bigger than anything in the clan."
Tu Rong's eyes lit up with excitement, her imagination already running wild.
Lu Sheng quickly scoffed with a playful tap on her head, "No, I'm not going to save the world. I'm just a normal guy. Don't get any wild ideas." His playful scolding made her giggle softly, the tension easing between them.
He straightened up and glanced at Abel once more. "Be careful," he said, the weight of his words feeling heavier now that he was about to leave. Lu Sheng quickly sorted everything in his spatial ring and the Clan Manager's ring which is also the mark of identity that he is the Clan Manager.
He pulled out the Clan Manager's ring and gave it to Abel.
