"Huh"
Turning in fright. Daniel's eyes met the three-eyed boy who sat lazily on the futon. The pressure that filled the room was menacing, and in time he found himself gasping for air.
"How can he have so much power? What's that three-eyed freak coming to say now?", Daniel murmured.
Being suppressed by a force just from sloth's sight was heart-wrenching, and Daniel understood why he shouldn't bother about fighting such a monster.
The child's mind understood that he was far below the level of his enemy, however the body rejected the notion. What if he struggled against the child's pressure? What if that boy was far stronger than anything he ever faced?
Well, that didn't matter. In fact, none of it mattered. All Daniel knew was his freedom, and the only barricade before that was Arvin. The child believed he could do it no matter what, but that was a delusion.
