Two scenes took place before her eyes, as if each of them was seeing a completely different place at the exact same time. The images were fuzzy, indistinct, but she was able to make out two different - one would even say opposite - rooms. The one on the right was dark; its walls made of black obsidian, the high ceiling arched and the scarce furniture made of wrought black metal. The other, on the left, was bright; made of white marble, the ceiling low and flat and the furniture entirely made of well-crafted white wood.
