Subsequent Fall Part 61.5: Whiplash

Adam kept backing up, each strike of the whip just made Titan more angry as he started using fireball spells to distract Adam and keep him on his toes to close the gap. All Adam did was crack the surface layer of skin as he couldn't get deeper attacks onto the mad man.

Titan grabbed both whips with his hands as he pulled them away from Adam as Adam tossed out the remaining amount of furniture he had in his notebook to have in one hand while he held the shield in the other. Titan stormed forward and launched a punch into the shield as Adam parried it. Slamming an explosive bean bag chair directly into his chest as it did nothing.

Rolling left Adam drew his pistol on that side and opened fire with the light bullets as he felt an immense pain sear through his arm. Titan held his sun blade up as his arm was on the ground flopping around. 'I thought I was still faster, he must really hate those bullets.' The blood leaked from his wound as he slapped a bandage on it that sealed it in the meantime.

Titan grabbed one of the couches that Adam laid out as he threw it at him. Adam dodged as he now had a fear unknown awaken deep inside of him. 'Use the darkness inside of your soul.' It spoke to him despite the need for all of his attention to be at the current enemy. Adam rolled right as he threw his shield at Titan who shattered it in a singular punch.

Summoning another sword he knew he was near the end of the notebook and would need to overcome the obstacle of that, or accept his certain death. The voice inside him grew louder, demanding to be let free as Adam's drawings shattered in contact of the sun blade. Titan sent a slash to burn the rest of the notebook as a black bubble protected it.

"And I thought you had no correlation with the rest of your kind." Titan spoke as Adam grabbed everything he had left in his notebook. Tigers, lions, elephants, rhinos, jaguars, ninja's, samurai, and a private legion of heavy militaristic men appeared and became enhanced by the hologram system as Jaimie and Astral's drawings broke free from their paralysis.

"It's in each and every one of us deep down and buried so it never gets released." Adam looked at his stump of a shoulder as a black smoke formed around it. "Attracting ourselves to a peaceful mindset keeps it at bay, forever wanting to be released."

The animals charged in as they had a similar speed relative to Titan who started using his high level spells and powers as they could scratch and claw away at him. But get nothing deep damaging where he had to worry as he culled them all with the sun blade. Adam pulled out his other pistol as he opened fire with the rest of the drawings as bullets flew through Titan who became unfazed by it. Holding up his left arm he prepared something new.

"Mirror mirror on the fly, let all of these bugs DIE!" Titan was able to block all of the incoming bullets as they were sent back at double the velocity. Killing all of the military drawings as Astral, Jaimie and the samurai drawing charged forward. Stalling out as Titan summoned a sword rain around him and impaled all of them outside of Jaimie and Astral, who he turned to and decapitated in one swing.

Turning to Adam in an instant as he took off his other arm that still held his pistol. "With no arms, how will you use your powers?" Titan slowly approached him as the man slowly walked in his direction.

"Same way you would use spells without the glove." The final few pages of the notebook were activated on the planet as he got the heads up alerts they went active. "Let someone else do it for you." A shadow extended from his right arm as it ripped a page out, a spear appeared as it filled with void.

"One of your last drawings?" Titan held up the sun blade to Adam.

"All that's left is mainly melee weapons I can't use." Adam saw what he had left as he lied. He had one last trick. Titan started his slashing attacks as the spear felt hollow and whole in its own moments, being able to block deadly blows from Titan while slicing right through his defensive efforts.

Titan recognized the powers from the various void creatures he has faced before as he snapped his left hand and a bright ray of light stuck to the ceiling, beaming down onto Adam as it had no effect on him. Titan felt a slash open his heart with void as he backpedaled, usually light works. But he is still human, and pure, the corruption didn't take over, he bonded with it to buy time.

The left stub of Adam grew to another shadow as he grabbed the final drawing and let it slowly drift to the ground as tendrils whipped out at Titan who blocked them with a hard light wall. Titan was amazed by his adaptability as Adam saw the one final drawing drop. A large scale cannon appeared as it started to charge from the void energy he was using. Titan looked unfazed as Adam's tendrils kept coming at him with the spear blocking his blows.

"Void is such an annoying thing!" Titan finally was fed up as he carved off Adams shoulder blades as he fell over. Finally out of the fight and out of energy, his wings and cape propped him up as Adam looked up, all the shadow flowing into the cannon as Titan stood there.

"You fought well despite it all." Titan took two steps forward as the cannon fired, a blue hue turned to black as it crashed onto Titan's body, it was burning him as Adam focused all of the energy he had left into the cannon, every ounce of strength had to go into it, maybe this could do the trick and maybe it could end the fight with him tying with the mad titan.

As he looked up all he saw was a fist coming for his skull. His cape wrapped up the arm as a second hand came in unavoidably grabbing his skull. Clasping around his neck and pulling his spine upward ripping his spine and skull from the rest of his body as the cannon stopped firing.

Titan stood alone in the room as a vacuum to space opened up, Titan didn't fight it as he had his prize, he needed to go planet side and end the lineage of Astral Apprentice's. Slowly drifting in space he did not rush himself as he covered Adam's skull with both hands, keeping it safe from space. He saw that Adam's trick and ships were quite effective as the frontlines were stalled out due to his inventions and intervention. All Titan did was laugh as he landed at his next victims.
