In a cave

Two figures could be seen sitting VERY close to each other. In front of them a fire which they used to keep them selves warm.

" How many hours do you think we have left?" Ayo asks ini who was beside her

" About seven to eight hours at most ." He replies while placing more wood into the fire to keep it burning.

" Do you think we'll make it?" She asks worriedly.

He nodded reassuring her " this test is about survival it's not about killing . This test is meant to test how we handle difficult situations. I'm sure most people who go 'hunting' are probably out by now so all we have to do is survive the next eight hours "

*Smack*

"Ini squirted his eyes at her ,"why did you smack me?"

Pouting, she replies " stop making it sound so easy."

They look at each other then start laughing.

After a while ayo asks ini "why do you were a mask even when we were (she makes a sign with her hands) "

Ini sighs deeply then starts " let's just say I have a special condition . I would like to explain but it places both of us at risk in the hands of psychic."

"Although that's not an answer I'll do with it. Just promise me when we're strong enough no more secrets?" She says the last part looking into his eyes.

"I promise ."

" When do you think we can tell our parents ? You know it wouldn't be long before I am to get married in a political wedding for the 'future' of the clan" she asks with a slightly irritated face.

" I wish it could be soon but you know that a person from a 'humble' background trying to get married into a s ranked sect is as hard as mopping the ocean. It's not impossible but also impossible. (This metaphor is very common here others like counting the grains of sand on a beach)

" How do you want me to solidate my position as your first wife if we can't get married first? " She asks angrily ( if you're wondering why a woman would be considering her husband marring other women it's because 90% of the population of people dying to magical beasts are men so the ratio of men to women is 1 to 4 and increasing. I'm sure this isn't the first cultivation novel you have read so you know harem is common, so just go with the flow)

" Why are you so sure I'll get married to other girls?" He asks confused

" I know your value, your masculinity, you lower's value, your potential. You're a hot piece of cake, it would be foolish to think I can keep you to my self ."

"Okay I promise I won't get married till I am an advanced or spirit mage. "

"Now that's better but do you know how long that would take?"

"It's doesn't matter, besides marriage is a lot of work I wanna relax for now."

( I haven't been doing a lot of explanations lately. So sects are classified into s,a,b,c. There is minor and major S. What makes up a sect is man power, heritage, territory and potential. The lowest which are c ranked sects usually have no territory. They only own buisnesses in the territory of bigger sects it is usually headed by an upper ranked intermediate mage or a lower ranked core mage .( Reminder each levels of mages are broken into three - lower, middle, upper) the b ranked sects ate usually headed by an upper core mage or lower advanced mage. They also don't have their territory but they help govern the territory of higher class sects. Unlike c ranked sects majors b ranked sects (headed by lower advanced mage) usually have ties with a ranks sects as only advanced mages or higher are respected and seen as high level mages. The A ranked sects have territory and b ranked sects overlook their territory for them. Look at it like this. If a ranked sects are generals, b ranked sects are commanders. A ranked sects are led by upper ranked advanced mages. Then We have the top dogs the s ranked sects. They are the rulers. They are led by spirit mages. The major are led by upper ranked spirit mages while minor are led bye middle and lower ranked spirit mages. If you're wondering about the origin mages, they aren't included. As a result of the magic association origin mages shouldn't act in their sects unless their sects was in a dire situation. So they mostly don't show up. )

As they were about to sleep ayo asks "when you become a spirit mage would you create a sect?"

"Yes, creating a sect would allow me to protect my loved once more. It's better than being alone. Although it's lots of work I would . Then after a few years I'll hand the position to my first child then live my days free"

"Okay, this is the reason I must marry you first so I can give you your first child."

"Anything you say ." He replied chuckling
