The World Unknown to All

While Sadalla was training with his Zygarde Avatar in the world of Pokémon, which the inhabitants still refused to give a proper name, he wasn't just letting his other world go off wildly. He used his Avatar Coupon to make an avatar on the second planet.

<Avatar Coupon Used>

"Wait. Make it based on my previous body."

<Understood. Avatar created based on previous body>

<Avatar created: Sadalla - Dragon-Mage>

<Avatar form: Hybrid Magi-Saiyan>

"Why is the form a hybrid between my previous body and the Magi that I created?"

<Your previous body was taken into account, but the avatars are meant to reflect beings within your worlds>

"I see. From what I remember, hybrid saiyans have extraordinary potential anyways."

<Initiate Avatar?>

"Yes."

Sadalla felt his mind leave his other bodies and enter a new one. It was a weird feeling, since he basically entered a homunculus, and had to suddenly get used to being in a truly humanoid body, rather than Zygarde's mostly humanoid body. Sadalla also noticed that his body was on a floating island. He wasn't certain, but he didn't think his second planet had floating islands. Confused, he tried walking around to find someone. Tried. He still wasn't comfortable walking on two legs yet, and had to get back up a few times before he gained control of his body again.

Once he got used to walking, he used his ki to sense where the nearest person was. That turned out to be a long way away, nearly one hundred miles away on a different island. Sadalla approached with caution. Sadalla had learned from his fight with Arceus, Dialga, Giratina, and Palkia that just because his previous form was superior to his creations, that didn't mean his avatars were. He had relied on a sneak attack to win that first battle, after all. Sadalla used flight to get across the divide, but cut the flight the instant that he got close enough to reach the island.

After getting to the island, he still had at least ten miles to get to the person he sensed. Now, he could more clearly grasp that it was a collection of several people that he sensed, not just one. Sadalla thought this was odd. The magi he created should not have been this weak. Something was wrong. The strength of the people he was sensing was that of completely normal humans.

Sadalla was about to try to enter the city, only to realize that he was feeling a bit of a breeze.

"Oh. Zygarde wasn't human, so I didn't realize. The avatars start naked. Yeah, that would've been awkward to notice later." Sadalla said to no one in particular.

Sadalla wanted to try using his magic to make clothes, but he realized that he had no clue what to even do. It wasn't like he could ask normal humans how to make clothes with magic. He instead crafted some basic woven clothes using vines and grass that he found on this island. Sadalla thanked his plot armor that the place he was in happened to be a forest with plenty of vines and grass. Even then, his lack of any artistic skills meant that he had basically just crammed some wood, sticks, grass, and vines into the most disgusting and uncomfortable clothing ever.

Now that he had some kind of clothing, which even Sadalla knew was barely worth calling clothing, Sadalla tried to sense natural energy. He had done this through Zygarde, but his new body was much more thoroughly integrated to it, and his potential for growth was much greater than Zygarde's. Sadalla was able to sense the natural energy, but he quickly discovered that the density of it on the floating islands was very low. With that being the case, he thought that he might have an explanation for why there were normal humans present.

If they had potentially lost access to magic due to the low density of the energy, it would explain a lot, but that still didn't make much sense. The density was low, but there was still more than enough for him to sense and use. There had to be something else. Sadalla needed more information.

Sadalla spent three days trying to channel the natural energy. He used the memories Sadalla had from before his death to recreate something like the old Great Ape form, but with natural energy. At the very least, he wanted a metal armor or coating similar to it. It was while remembering his Great Ape form that he noticed something. He hadn't noticed it initially because he had more pressing concerns, but there was no moon here. It reminded him eerily of the Celestica legend about Giratina's home. The Distortion World.

If this place was a weird Distortion World variant of his second planet, then it made plenty of sense. The Distortion World also had floating islands caused by its weird gravity, and natural energy was also much thinner. The obvious difference, however, was that the Distortion World was uninhabitable. Only the most adventurous and suicidal people even tried. This world was very clearly not like that. People were prosperous. People could survive and thrive, even if it was an isolated existence.

I'm going to be honest here. I had writer's block for a while as I was planning out where I was taking this story. I think I now know how I'm going to progress, but the story will keep a slow-ish pace until time catches up to the "Present" of these stories. Current release schedule for the next chapters will likely be around 3 chapters per day until the end of May.
