The Forbidden Lighting Rush Technique 

As Lian Chen entered the Treasury Hall, he immediately sensed an aura permeating the air—an essence rich with the wisdom of ages and latent power. There are countless scrolls in the shelves, each one holding the potential to elevate Lian Chen's cultivation to new heights.

Lian Chen cultivation was only at the Qi Cultivation stage, thus he was only allowed at the first floor of the Treasury Hall. At the first floor of the Treasury Hall, Lian Chen picked out a couple of close combat martial skills, which include "Luohan Fist", and the "Fist of Soaring Aura''. Both of these skills are at the Mortal Grade middle stage.

Normal cultivators would normally take 2 hours to memorize both Luohan Fist and the Fist of Soaring Aura. However, with the help of the Rainbow Lotus Bloodline, it only took 30 minutes for Lian Chen to memorize both of the martial skills.

"These 2 martial skills and the Lotus Blossom Palm Strike will be enough for now… I will need to choose a movement technique." Lian Chen muttered to himself. With a determined expression, Lian Chen began to explore the Treasury Hall for a suitable movement technique.

While walking around the Treasury Hall, Lian Chen gazed upon an old book, discarded and forgotten by the wayside.

Lian Chen walked over and picked up the book, dusting off its weathered cover. The book felt light in Lian Chen hands, the pages yellowed with age, and its edges frayed from the years of neglect.

Lian Chen flipped open the book, and as his eyes were reading through the pages, he realized he discovered a hidden gem, called Lightning Rush.

The contents of the book revealed that by fully mastering Lightning Rush, cultivators can achieve unmatched speed, capable of tearing through the heavens themselves.

Filled with excitement, Lian Chen immediately tried to memorize the content in the book before his time in the Treasury Hall expired, ensuring that he could practice the skill back at his hut.

"Wait, why are the other pages torn out? No way, is this skill incomplete? Well, it is what it is. I will memorize the other part first, before finding the other parts to it in the future."

Having committed the Lightning Rush technique to memory, Lian Chen glanced at the dwindling time remaining in the Treasury Hall. This made him realize it almost took him 2 hours to commit the un-complete Lightning Rush technique.

"If it took me 2 hours to memorize the Lightning Rush technique, together with my Rainbow Lotus bloodline, I wonder what stage this movement technique lies at." Lian Chen mumbled.

Seeing as how much time he has left, Lian Chen was satisfied with the rewards he got from the Treasury Hall today. With that, he exited the Treasury Hall and bowed towards Elder Xu.

Observing Lian Chen's happiness, Elder Xu chuckled and acknowledged the bow, remarking, "Your joy suggests that you have acquired some excellent martial skills, haven't you?"

"Yes Elder Xu, I will be on my way then." Lian Chen respectfully clasped his fist before turning and making his way back to his hut.
