Area 2

The rest of the trip went normally; they passed by Areas 7 and 3 to finally get to Area 2.

When they got to Area 2, they were immediately met with a beautiful city; that mixes magic and technology perfectly. The city was humongous, when the group looked down at it, they saw the colorful light of magic while the architecture was extremely detailed and beautiful. The city was called "Pax Urbs" and this city was where the All-Sect tournament happens.

The group was amazed by the sight of the city and the griffin flew down toward it, the griffin landed on a special runway for magical beasts. The group dropped down and the Sect Leader sent her familiar back to the magic circle that it had originally come from.

The group saw an extremely long line that went to the horizon, this line was meant for people to enter the city. Luckily, the Sect Leader showed that they were a Sect that was meant to participate in the tournament and after some checks, they were allowed to enter the city, right away, making the new Core disciples breathe a sigh of relief.

The group was guided to a huge hotel, where many sects and their teams were living at also. There were a total of twenty floors and each floor had a different sect occupying it, the Green Valley team was assigned the 15th floor.

When they entered the 15th-floor rooms, they were amazed by it.

"Wow, this room far surpasses the dorms in the Inner Court!" Extra 2 said enthusiastically.

"It may even be better than the houses in the Core Court!" Extra 3 said happily.

This caused Elder Maron to feel annoyed since he knew that they were right: but could have at least not said so out loud. The Sect Leader felt nothing because she wholeheartedly agreed with them.

Adonis walked into his assigned room and felt a sense of coziness as he relaxed there.

'It feels like my old room...' Adonis thought as he reminisced back to his room in the Lock Mansion.

Adonis shook off the thoughts and decided to dedicate this time to training. He grabbed the 'Do not disturb' sign and wrote additionally, "Including you, Lena!"

After that, he put it on his door handle, closed it, and locked his door. He then went to his bedroom and teleported into his Soul Domain.

Here's the gist of what Adonis has learned and achieved:

First of all, Adonis can still use his lightning element, but, whenever he uses it, he slowly becomes more deranged and addicted to his power. This will cause his Demon to start taking over, he was able to prevent that by focusing on something else, and over time the effects will wear off.

Next, Adonis was able to raise his ki from 2-stars to 3-stars. This doubled all of Adonis's physical abilities from when he was 2-stars.

Finally, he uses a new skill with his Anima, elements, and ki. His slivers of Anima would spin around his affinity or ki, which would cause his power to increase by three folds if he used one sliver, and if he fuses both slivers and used them, his magic or ki would increase by tenfold. The only drawback would be that his stamina would decrease greatly the more he uses them, so Adonis dedicated himself to increasing his stamina as much as possible before the tournament.

When Adonis uses his Anima sliver to spin around his ki stars, he was able to make vivid afterimages every time he uses 30% of his full speed. He was able to create a sonic boom with his punches when he uses 50% of his strength, and he felt like any technique Earth Grade Excellent-Quality or lower wouldn't even leave a scratch on him.

When he uses both slivers of Anima to spin around ki stars, he can create his own atmosphere. His atmosphere has a pressuring feel to it; as if a person is under a sea. Not only that but when he uses his physical abilities, they were so devasting that Adonis swore to only use them under the most necessary of circumstances or when he reaches Ascent Stage. Sky Grade Great-quality techniques wouldn't be able to hurt him unless the user has purer mana than the average talented cultivator.

Adonis calls this skill: Orbital Stars.

Then comes his magic. Obviously, when Adonis tried it with his lightning element, it only made him derange more quickly. His fire magic, however, increased to such a high level that only experienced Ascent Stage cultivators could match him, and that's only with one sliver. When he uses both slivers, he can make that pillar of fire that he did during his fight with Mila; with ease and can even make it many times more powerful. Adonis was currently focusing more on his control, so he could utilize his fire magic more effectively when he uses his Anima slivers.

Adonis calls this skill: Orbital Sun.

Adonis is currently a Refinement Stage 2-Spark and knew his experience in the tournament would be his path to his breakthrough to Ascent Stage, with all of his new skills, he was confident he'll be able to match cultivators in the Ascent Stage.

Adonis was also still experimenting around with his Anima slivers, to see what else they could be capable of. He was also afraid to inject his Anima into his ki or magic like he does his eyes, the reason was simple; if he can create such a huge amount of power by just spinning his Anima around them, then how much power could he have if he injects Anima into them. This made Adonis afraid his body will explode due to being too weak, but it also made him excited to know that there was a way to become even stronger.

Adonis was slowly, but surely, turning into a fanatic of his own strength. He couldn't wait to try his newfound strength on others.
