Golems

"I can't believe we will get S quest on our first Mission." Laka whispered. His eyes darted from left to right.

The Vlajik forest was getting sparser and a yellow shrub appeared in their sight. The air was dense and contained a bit of water. Everywhere was quiet, and sometimes a bubbling sound would come from their surrounding.

"I hate the swampy place." Mata murmured in indignation. Her foot sank into the soft solid, covered in yellowish water. She mutters some indistinct words and continues slowly.

[[Solid ground detected.]]

A map appeared on Emma's helmet screen. He looked at it for a moment and communicate with his finger. Immediately, the team changed their direction.

>>You need to be careful. This place is not simple.

'Yeah, I can see that. What happened to you in these couple of days?' He asked.

>>When it's time for you to know. I will tell you. For now, try to get stronger as quickly as possible.

Suddenly, a gush of wind appeared out of nowhere, howling loudly. The calm swamp began to boil. A dark tunnel appeared in the air with a powerful pulling force.

Seeing the sudden notification hanging in front of their faces. They took a deep breath. Is this not moving a little too fast. They thought and looked at each other's faces.

"I guess those beasts emerge from this dungeon." Emma's voice woke them from their reverie.

"Hmm, hmm." Jojo nodded.

"Prepare, we're entering now." Emma stood in front of the group and gripped his spear tightly.

They don't need to be told twice. They raised their guard and stared intensely at the entrance of the dungeon.

Emma took the first step and disappeared into the dark tunnel. Without further ado, the others followed.

"I know." Emma answered calmly. He side step, holding his breath, dodging the spear by an inch.

A 3 meters golem stood with his long spear and stared at Emma with its three eyes. Its bulky body didn't deter it from moving quickly.

Emma didn't waste a moment and dashed toward the golem, leaving a trail of dust. The golem blinked its eyes and step forward and swings its weapon. A whistling sound echoed in the narrow path.

'Humph.' He snorted. He jumped toward rolling twice in the air, avoiding the golem attack. He landed a couple of inches from the golem with his weapon dancing toward it in crimson color.

Bang!

The golem took a step backward and blinked its three eyes. However, before the golem could raise his weapon again. Another round of attack descended on it.

"Hmm?" Emma shook his spear and looked at the sudden new Exp added to his stat. "Interesting. Dungeon as more goodies than a normal quest."

Suddenly, the dungeon spawns 5 Earth Golem. The golems rushed with their spear raised in the air. Emma didn't dillydally. He rushed toward them and swung his spear.

"Revolving Spear Attack"

Three of the five took a step back while the other two send a powerful attack on Emma. He saw the incoming attack and could retreat from the dangerous situation. He took a deep breath and perform bizarre movement skills.

He neither moves backward nor forward, generating a swirl of wind. If the previous old saw this, he would be stupefied. This was exactly like his skill.

Sighed.

"I guess, I need to practice more." He shook his head dejectedly.

"Wow. This is getting better." He murmured and sidestep, using the cloud step movement.

The golem stumbled back and its three tinny eyes rolled in their socket, wondering what just. Why was he sent stumbling backward?

"This place is too narrow for a crowd battle." Emma complained.

Whoosh!

A sudden gush of wind appeared behind Emma and Jojo appeared, a silhouette stood, blinking her eyes looking at the strange wall. 'Hmm?' She creased her brow and stared at the ongoing battle a couple of feet from her.

She dashed toward the battle without thinking twice. Her sword unsheathe and flew toward her hand, leaving a green trail behind.

Emma noticed Jojo but didn't utter a word. His spear danced toward a golem while avoiding a dangerous attack.

Bang!

The golem's weapon was sent flying while its eyes looked at the flying spear in dismay.

Another golem fell a couple of feet from Emma. Jojo held her weapon with both hands and stood beside Emma. "Why does it look like you have been fighting for a couple of minutes." She questioned without looking at him.

"Hmm, hmm" Emma nodded.

"But I follow after you immediately."

"Let's finished these three. We can't afford to waste time."

"Alright"

The two rushed toward the golem. The golems made an indistinct sound and rushed toward Emma and Jojo. Just then, numerous dark arrows flew toward them at an extreme speed.

[[Danger. Incoming.]]

"Watch out!" Emma cried.

All the hair on Jojo stood straight and her heart missed. A sudden sense of danger floors her brain. The arrow was already in front of her. If not for Emma's shout; she won't' have seen it coming. Yet, it was already late for her to dodge all the arrows.

'Humph! If I can't dodge it. I will face it head-on.' She muttered in her heart.

She swings her weapon continuously, creating a green arc in front of her while trying to dodge the arrow. Meanwhile, Emma step on the wall, elevating him higher, and performed an acrobat, twisting in the air.

Jojo cried in pain and stumbled backward, gasping for air. Her muscle trembled in pain. Her face ashed, staring deep into the narrow passage. 'What the hell!'

Emma landed on the ground and send two powerful attacks on the approaching golems.
