Battle
"What's going on?" Laka repeated.
His eyes darted from the groaning Jojo that was on the ground and to the pensive Emma. Jojo raised her head and looked at Laka and smirked.
"Do you need a fortune-teller to tell you what is going?" She clicked her tongue and stood with her face muscles twitching. 'That was close.'
"The dungeon entrance has time interference. We need to wait for the others before we proceed." Emma announced after checking the narrow passage for some moment.
"Sure! I guess. S rank quest is not something to rush into." She straightened her back and stared at the dark, narrow passage ahead.
After a couple of minutes, Maya and Mata arrived at the narrow passage and felt the heavy atmosphere. They stared at Laka, only for him to roll his eyes and shake his head. They stared at the two in front of them without uttering a word.
"Let's move. This dungeon is not simple." Emma pause and turned his head, staring at his team. "And also watch out for any sneak attack."
"Jojo on me. Mata— you know what to do, right?" He stared at Mata.
"Yes." Mata nodded confidently.
"Laka and Maya watch each other back."
Emma and his team walked into the narrow without making a noise. After walking for a couple of minutes, they met no danger. At the end of the passage was a huge door. Suddenly, the passage began to tremble vehemently, sending powerful vibrations everywhere.
The passage began to constrict. The two side walls began to close together, making a cracking sound.
What!
"Why is everything in this world seem to close on us," Maya grumbled bitterly.
The team looked at each other and a sudden trace of panic appeared on their faces. Yet, they tried to remain calm. Emma stared at the huge door, not worried about the closing walls. He placed his hand on the wall and a loud cracking sound.
The team took a couple of steps backward and watch the door with vigilance. The big door slides open, exuding a thick white smoke. Meanwhile, the two side wall was almost on them. Their heart was racing, staring at the moving brick.
Seeing the door giving way, Laka and the others couldn't wait to see what was on the other. They rushed inside, not caring about the danger.

"I've anticipated it" Emma responded. 'I don't need to inform them of any danger. I'll let everyone try to defend themselves from the incoming danger. They can't just rely on me every time.'
Whoosh!
A lot of sharp-moving dark arrows shoot toward them at an unprecedented speed. Creating a whistling sound. The team couldn't see the attacker, but they react quickly to the incoming danger.
"Fiery flame," Laka shouted. A gush of fire flew out of his hand toward the incoming arrow.
Laka flame was more powerful than before. The sudden illumination from the firelight illuminated the huge, spacious room.

__Innate Ability: Poison Arrow.
A hissing sound came from the other end of the room. A group of being with two yellow eyes and black pupils long fangs. They have no legs but tails. Their tails coiled around them, pushing them higher, while there was a quiver at their back with ba ow in hands.
The 3-string cobra's hands move quickly, knocking and shooting the bow. Their eyes locked on their prey and their arrow flew out the bow flawlessly.
"Mata." Emma shouted. He parried a dangerous arrow and rushed toward the group of 3-string cobras. Suddenly, a giant worm burrowed out of the ground with various sharp, conniving teeth.
'What the hell' Emma screamed in his heart. He jumped in the air and somersaulted swinging his spear.

A human cry came from the worm. The worm didn't try to attack Emma again, instead, it burrowed into the hard ground like it was nothing.
A wisp of smoke appeared behind one of the 3-string cobras. And two sharp swords flew out of the smoke.

A cobra cried in pain, tuning its fiery eyes to the source of the attack. However, Mata had disappeared into a cloud of thin smoke The snake hissed loudly and glared at the people in front of her and increased her attack power.
"Watch out for the crying worm." Emma warned.
Just as Emma's voice faded, four human crying worms burrowed out of the ground and attack the team from a different angle. However, the team was on guard against them. Despite this, the 3-string cobra makes it difficult for them.

Emma didn't care about the three. The cobra archer was something that he never expected. The power in the error and their accuracy astounded him.
"I will tank the attack. Laka and Maya will support me." He dodged another dangerous attack and sent another human crying worm flying.

"Jojo and Mata, go for the kill." He shouted, jumping to the center of the battle.
Immediately, Jojo, Laka, and Maya recovered from the attack and form a formation. Waiting for Emma's signal. A wisp of smoke appeared beside the three and thus, Mata with some apprehension on her face.
"Sneaking on these snakes was not easy. Their perception is just too sharp." She muttered. But everyone in the room could hear her.
Emma's Weapon danced in the air in crimson color. All the incoming arrows were shrewd into pieces. Suddenly, various human crying worms target him from various angles The four people at his back widened their eyes from fear and shock.
'How would he escape from this attack.'
__Cloud step movement skill.
Instead of attacking the crying worms. Emma used the cloud step movement and escaped from the imminent danger unscratched. Leaving them stupefied.
