The Mivera kingdom to many of its inhabitants was ruled solely by the royals and their power stretched across the kingdom with absolute authority.
However, to the upper echelons of the kingdom, they knew that the reality was a stark contrast to what common netzines were mase to believe.
The ruling power had long shifted to the hand of the royal guild. To the public the royal guild was a part of the royals' authority, ruling other guilds with iron clad force.
Yet, the royals and the to members of the royal guild knew that the power had slipped from the hand of the former.
The royals weren't completely useless though, and due to years of consolidating their power in the heart of the kingdom, thaey weren't easy to get rid of.
This intricate system of governance had created a fragile balance between the two forces, none ready to break it yet, at least not yet.
