Quickly the adrenaline burst from the battle wore off and I turned my attention to my new appendage. It was like a ribbon wrapped around my arms with a sharp wedge shaped end. Similar to Suu Tsukiyama's kagune,but smaller in scale and applied to both arms. They were both dark crimson, with blood pulsing to the beat of my heart. After some experimenting I was able to wrap the ribbon shaped kagune skintight up to my shoulders with the edges over the opposite side of my palm. It connected to my kakuhou from above my shoulders like shoulder guards of medieval armour.

After customising my kagune ,I quickly recovered as much meat as I could from the jackal corpse and made myself climb a huge tree nearby so I could be safe from ground predators and continued with my meal. I ate the heart first since it contained most blood, then I started the rest. When I was half way through eating it's hind leg a new feeling enveloped me ,like unlocking a part of my body and mind that I've never knew. A new energy coursed through my veins originating from my heart , making my blood boil and muscles spasm,tearing and healing them at the same time, causing unbearable amounts of pain rendering me paralysed. My kagune got pulled back into me like a quinx's would. Before I could even try to scream ,I lost consciousness.

When I woke up the stars were blinking up in the sky. I rose to my feet tentatively and tried moving my muscles. To my greatest relief I was able to without any pain. After what happened I was afraid that my body would be paralysed permanently, which is not exactly ideal to a person in my position.

I tried calling the energy I felt before passing out. Though it caused me a great amount of pain, if what I felt was exactly what I think, it would open a new path I never knew existed.

Feeling deep within my self I tried to look for the energy but it was just outside of my grasp. Calming myself I breathed in and out very slowly concentrating at my heart,and I grasped it. I immediately knew what it was. I had guessed it too. It was magic or mana,ki,energy of heaven and earth ,natural energy existing in the environment as seen in novel's ,manga and comics in my previous earth.

I tried to manipulate it but current me had only a bare minimum of magical energy (will be called mana from now on) not enough to be used. But I felt it all around me barely spread around like a very thin mist. I could feel the energy moving towards me,drawn to the spark within me. It was slow. Very slow, like a boat moving to land with the help of one oar,but it was definitely moving towards me. Feeling it a face splitting grin rose on my lips when I imagined all the future possibilities. 'This, is going to be interesting' I thought to myself. Suddenly the thought of Edweird and the disco vamps crossed my mind "wait till they get a load of me" I cackled a famous supervillain quip loudly while an evil smile formed on my lips. Forget romance, this world will be chaos, and I will be the one to cause it.
