I think we already waited for an hour.
All of them, Lynn, Lisa Leni, Luan, Lola, Lana, her husband, and she were waiting in impenetrable silence. Nobody dared to speak.
Rita looks up from the ground looking at her beautiful children.
She saw her twins daughters sleeping while holding each other hand, Lisa sleeping uncomfortably next to them, Leni watching over them while looking expressionless, today when she came from her part-time job at the Mall Leni's permanent smile on her face disappeared, Rita wanted to ask her what happened but she knew she couldn't. Luan was looking at the ground while chewing her nails and Lynn Junior sitting on the cold chair with her knees up to her chest.
It was the middle of the night all of them were tired, worried, and... scared very very scared.
When she heard they finally found Lincoln she burst crying of happiness together with her husband but when they heard he is in a grave state in hospital it was like ton of bricks hit them directly in the head.
Her baby was finally back only to stay in a hospital bed fighting for his life.
Rita almost wanted to laugh at the stupidity of the situation they were in.
The mother of 11 children took out her phone to look if her oldest daughter responded to her calls.
Still no sight
She already called Luna telling her what happened and where they are.
She called Lori a couple of times but she didn't respond.
Rita would think is weird but when she looked at the watch she realized it was almost the middle of the night. Of course, she couldn't respond it was almost the middle of the night! The poor girl was probably still studying or passed out in her bed after a hard time at college.
In the final, she decides to leave a message for her oldest daughter.
It was important for everyone to inform everyone in the family as soon as she could, she knew how much they all care for Lincoln and how much it will hurt if they are left out.
When she sent her message a male nurse, a short man with brown hair and eyes, came in the waiting room walking toward us. Except for the twins and Lisa who were asleep all of us stand up from our seats.
"Y-you are Loud Family?"
"Yes tell us, ho-how is our son?"
Lynn Senior spoke with a bit of fear in his voice all of them could tell how scared he was at the response because all of them were the same.
The Nurse moves his tired eyes at the rest of the family and manages to force a little smile.
"Your son is finally in a stable condition but now we have to keep him under close observation and care."
After he finished what he had to say he made a sign with his hand to follow him towards their son's room.
Lynn Senior pick their twins and Rita pick out Lisa and started to walk together with the family. The halls were long, longer than she remembered, and in the final, after some couple of minutes, they reach Lincoln's room.
When they come another male nurse opens up the door getting out of the room wearing the same tired expression as the man who brought them here.
"You can enter, but....ugh!"
The poor man didn't have the chance to finish because Lynn Junior push him aside bursting into the room her only brother was resting.
"Lynn! Come back here!."
She shouted after her, but her sporty daughter didn't listen.
Rita and the rest of the family entered the room, the male nurse didn't saw any point in saying anything more, so he just waited by the door for the family.
The Loud family entered a pretty big room, there were two beds, one ancient TV in the corner up, and a pair of stool chairs next to the identical beds.
The Loud family saw Lynn Loud Junior standing petrified while her eyes filled with so much sadness and horror were staring at the bed where her only brother was occupating.
The family turned their head some faster than the others looking at the boy in the hospital bed.
Lincoln was connected to several machines, he had a mask of plastic on his mouth that looked like it help him breathe, his frail chest was rising and lowering slowly and steady.
But some detail made Rita and the rest of the family tremble letting the tears go freely on their cheeks.
His face, collar, forehead, and arms were bandaged even his face had many band-aids on, even so, some skin was exposed on his arms and Rita could believe how heavily bruised and how many scars they had.
"Oh my god, Lincoln!"
"Those fucking bastards!"
Rita heard her daughters' voices, Leni and Lynn shouting with tears coming more of their beautiful eyes.
*thud*
She turned her head at the sudden sound and she saw her dear husband fall on his knees on the cold floor while looking at Lincoln, he hold the twins to his chest while trembling.
The twins who were sleeping in his arms woke up from the sudden movement the first thing they saw was their brother in the worst state possible sleeping in the hospital bed.
"M...mom what happened? Lincoln.... Lincoln is... is o-okay?"
Lola's voice barely could say a couple of words between her crying, her twin Lana remained speechless exactly like Lynn when she entered the room.
"..Lincoln..."
...Oh it seems that also Lisa woke up....
"Waaaaaaaaaa!"
....also Lily....
...H-Her babies were collapsing and she... she couldn't do absolutely anything because she was exactly like them.
Miles away in the City, a beautiful blonde was carrying a red-headed girl that was as beautiful as she was... drunk.
Lori Loud right now was carrying her roommate, Becky, towards their room. When she finally got in front of their door she let go of the drunk girl that was staring into space while wearing a relaxed and large smile... and a revealing short black dress and black high heels.
The drunk girl was swinging lift and right so hard that she surprised the blonde that her friend is not on the floor right now.
Lori took out her keys from her pocket and with a sigh, she turn her head to look at her friend.
"Wait for a second to open the door. I literally can't believe..."
The one was ready to scold her friend but her redheaded friend throw her arms around her neck. The smell of alcohol from her breath made the blonde's face turn a bit green from the nausea she felt but fortunately, she didn't throw up.
"Lohwy! Ghan have a Dwinch?"
Lori was pretty sure Becky wanted another drink, the blonde blinked once and arch an eyebrow.
"I can't believe you want another drink after literally drinking all the alcohol at that party!"
"..... *blink*, *blink*....Sho?"
The blonde could only sigh, open the door and drag her friend by her arm inside their shared room.
Their room was pretty common if Lori could say so. Gray carpet, beige walls, two beds. Any further furniture or any decoration will be paid from the student's pocket. At least what she heard it was the rule.
Becky's side was on the right, a bed for two people with red bedsheets next to the bed was a nightstand with a gray digital clock.
The wall on her side was filled with different pictures of her friends and family and scenarios of the nature and city she thought it looked cool she also had a desk five feet from her bed, you couldn't see it because of the mountain of clothes, trash, and old food but it was there.
The left part of the room was Lori's. Bed with blue sheets (duh) desk almost as messy as Becky's but it was filled with notes and books from her classes and documents from her work. On her nightstand was a picture of her whole family. And a lamp and on her bed was her phone that she forgot to take with her when Becky called her in her drunken state to pick her up.
"Becky you better sleep we have classes tomorrow. Maybe you will sober up till then."
Lori told her friend in a surprisingly motherly way, despite how tired and fed up she was inside because of her friend's antics.
"Wha?! Ahm not dunk!"
Lori just looked at her. She lifts her delicate hand to the red-headed girl's forehead and pushes her gently for a second.
"Wha!... Ugh!"
And the drunk girl fell like a log on the red bed. Becky stretched her arms up as hard as she could like something will appear and pulled her back to her feet when she realized it didn't work she tried to add her legs. The red-haired girl was twisting and turning without any sign to get up.
Honestly, if it wasn't the middle of the night, and she wasn't tired she would have laughed till she would pass out, but now she just decided to watch some TV and go back to sleep
Usually, when your child goes to college their parents give them a car or give them a family heirloom or whatever but Becky's parents bought their daughter a 50-inch plasma tv with surround sound and a premium package where she can watch what she wants when she wants.
Lori has to admit, that Becky's parents sure know how to give a present. Lori jumped on, one of the bean bags in front of the TV. They didn't had enough place for a couch. She picked up the remote and...
*Click*
Once she pressed the red button on the remote the TV turned on.
"Another mailbox was stolen. The police started to investigate the multiple accidents."
...and suddenly the blonde didn't want to watch TV anymore... or ever.
"𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙒𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨. 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨. 𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙤, 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙."
Stolen mailboxes. The thieves didn't even stole the content from those mailboxes their just empty them out and ran away with the mailboxes. That's it. no stolen money, no precious jewelleries missing, not even important letters illegally opened or stolen! Just a couple of pranksters stealing mailboxes!
Her grip on the remote was so tight that she wouldn't be surprised if she started to hear cracking soon
When Lincoln disappeared they had to wait TWO FUCKING MONTHS so the police would help them search for him. The same PIG literally told them that was the "procedure" and he can't do anything else for them.
BULSHIT! She fucking knew what was the procedure they fucking knew what the procedure was, but they didn't do anything. He didn't even care!
The anger felt by Lori blocked the noise from the TV she didn't care what they said. The moments when she came to the same police station asking if they found even at least a clue, only to have to look directly in the eyes of that bastard that took everything she said as a joke.
That asshole! If she could....
"On further information this night Chef Police Officer Jonathan Gilmerton was arrested for complicity in several of cases of human trafficking.
It seems that he covered the tracks for many illegal companies that kidnapped people for their evil purposes.
The police discovered that one of the victims is the infamous Lincoln Loud the little brother of the new star of rock Luna Loud"
*thud*
She let the remote fall from her hands. Her eyes were wide her face was pale and she suddenly felt the room spinning, she lifted her delicate trembling to her mouth in shock.
I need to tell everyone, they need to know!
Her brain was filled with thousands of thoughts, but this one was the loudest. With trembling legs she was walking towards her bed where her phone was, she finally pick it up and she saw she had some messages from her mother. Still feeling a bit overwhelmed because of the sudden piece of information she opened the message with a shaky finger.
"𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗻..."
*click*
"...huh?! Loh-Lori?"
It seems her red-headed roommate woke up from the sound of her roommate closing the door after her.
Becky looked left and right but she didn't see her roommate so she just let her head fall back on the pillow going back to the dreamland.
In the night you could see a red car driving at full speed toward Royal Woods.
