Bk3: Ch–20 The coal mines(pt-1)

The sun as usual shone on the top of the morning sky. It was just the morning but the desert looked like it was already the afternoon. The people got out of their houses to report for work. The large sand city was cleaned for the arrival of the prince. The faces of the people were full of hope. They were expecting changes in their lifestyle. However, just on the side of the town, there was a big cave where similar thoughts were not shared by its inhabitants. The cave’s only attraction was the large building belonging to the commander. Usually, the commander is not available but this time he was sleeping on his bed, late for his reporting time in the office as usual.

There was a knock on the door.

“Sir, you will be late again.” His trusted servant Belal called out to him and opened the door to peek in first.
