By the time Marcus car pulled into the university parking lot, it was dark, and the sky looked cloudy like it was about to pour.
Arianna fiddled with her seat belt as she didn't know what to say to Marcus, she knew he was mad at her for not telling him what was wrong because he didn't speak to her all through the ride to her school.
"Thank you, I… I'll be leaving now." She picked her bag then held the car door, but Marcus placed his hand on her lap, stopping her.
She paused, and her eyes moved to his hand on her lap, Marcus quickly took it off and sighed, "so you won't tell me what happened back there?" He asked again. Before they left his house, he had been pressuring her to speak up, tell him what happened. How the railing suddenly have a huge dent in it.
"I don't know what happened, Marcus and…" she licked her lips, feeling uncomfortable under his watchful gaze.
