press conference

none of the members expected this kind of reaction.... Lucy wanted to start something... so she stepped up...

"hi guys i am Lucy... the new member of the BEAST group....nice to meet you.."

All the press came into their sense.... the cameras started to shatter again.... this time it was even faster than the last time....

the members were relieved that there was some kind of reaction from the press.... the press started calling their accomplice and asked them to come to the office... all of them thought it was going to make a big news...

after a while they started asking their questions....

"miss Lucy... that is your name right??"

"yes... and you can call me Lucy.."

"ok... Lucy... how do you feel being the only girl in this group??"

"well i feel good... getting a change to perform with these guys us really surreal..."

"so how did you join this group??"

"well mann has seen me sing somewhere and thought I had a little potential... so he asked me if I was willing to join them... he asking me that itself was a big honour... there was no reason for me to reject... and here I am..."

"you are making it sound so simple... many people out there are dying to get a chance... don't you think you are taking it so lightly??"

"i never took this chance lightly.... it is just i got selected in this way.... there is noting to take lightly ....."

"so what are your thoughts about this group??"

"my thoughts about this group... well it is hard to put it in words... they are awesome....each of them have abundant passion for what they do... and their talent is formidable.... but that isn't it... as a human... each and every one of them are extraordinary..... it feels like magic to have to preform with them....of course it was no magic they have this much talent... it was their Shere hard work... i too will work as hard as I can to be at par with them..."

"do you think you will be able to replace him??"

The members were shocked... they had never spoken about him to Lucy... and since she was not there during that incident she knows nothing about him too...they did not expect the press to bring him up...

Lucy was also confused.... she had no idea who he was....

when mann decided to take over... Lucy started speaking....

"he?? who??"

The crowd started mumbling.... the members and mann thought they were screwed...

"Frederick... singer Frederick!! the famous Frederick... son of ..." The press was shocked...

" Frederick?? who is that??" Lucy was totally confused...

"he was the former lead singer of the BEAST group..."

"oh was he...?"

"so you don't know about him??"

"mmm.. yes I don't... any problem...??"

"Don't you feel bad about them counselling the truth about their former teammate?? "

"why should I?.. you too said... he was their former... i mean former teammate... he no longer is their teammate.. why should I be bothered by him??"

"but they hid the truth.. it is because... Frederick is a great singer... he thought they had no potential in them.. that is why he left he group.."

"then it was his loss... he was not able to see their potential... he is at loss.."

The crowd was dumbfound.... no one ever dared to speak like that about Frederick... it was because of his fame and mostly because of his father and his background...

"But just like Frederick said... once he left the group they went down in drain...so that means he was true right??"

"they never went down in drain.... the persisted... how do you expect a group of people to perform without a singer?? will you guys be willing to listen to only drums and piano and a guitar playing?? it took them long because no one was able to meet the level of their passion and talent... you cannot expect them to perform a sloppy song with a sloppy singer.. "

The members were petrified... and the crowd hit to bottom with a single blow...

"what do you mean but that??"

"i mean... now that I am here... you guys will see what their true potential is... we will prove Mr. Frederick wrong.... i will make him eat his words..." Lucy was disappointed because the press talked bad about the members...

"so Lucy are you challenging Frederick now ??"

"yes... we will prove we can do without him.... "

"what do you think the members will say about that??"

"you can directly ask them...they are right here.."

The press moved towards the members...

"Damon what is your reaction for Lucy's challenge??"

"first of all it will be good if you don't keep calling it a challenge... as Lucy said.. we will prove our worth.. we will prove that with adequate chance and time.. we too can bring out our passion..."

"what do you say Jeremy??"

"just as Lucy said... you can witness it in two days.."

"Stephen??"

"just wait and see..."

mann decided to conclude the meeting as it was not going good... so he intervened...

"ok guys.. that is all for today... hope you guys don't over work it... thank you..."

the press still had heaps of questions to ask but the members got up and went in....

Lucy was clearly pissed.... the members came near her...

"lucy... we are sorry for not saying anything about Frederick... we thought we would scare you off.. I am sorry...."

"no problem Jeremy...it doesn't matter... i will be off now..." Lucy went to the car and sat in...

the members felt bad for hiding it form her... they had no idea about what to do.... they wanted her to forgive them but they also knew what they did was wrong and couldn't ask for forgiveness...

they also got changed and went to the car...

they saw Lucy sitting in the car with her ears plugged with earphones...

they too got into the car and went to the base....
