calming down the first thing in which Krom wanted help from the system was to find his mother

Krom did not say any other word after that, he just got up from there and started to walk around the destroyed streets where he saw many half ripped bodies of people which increased his sorrow and anger even more, thoughts that the same thing could also have happened to his mother were entering his mind again and again

looking at the reality while walking there was taking a toll on Krom mentally and also being physically tired he decided to rest for now, after searching for some time and defeating 2 more Daphs (which was name of the beasts according to what system told him) Krom was now in a house which was still in living state

he was trying to sleep but every time he closed his eyes images of those dear half ripped bodies flashed through his head along with the images of his mother among them, but being very tired he fell asleep after some time

he woke up after talking a long nap from evening to next morning but even after waking up he did not get up from the bed for a few hours, maybe trying to hide away from the reality in that bed

but he knew that he could not hide from it so after few hours he got up from the bed and ate some food which was still not destroyed, after that he took a backpack from that and stored some food into it before leaving the house

it was fourth day since the apocalypse, in these days Krom just continued to wander around the destroyed City, he battled around 6-7 daphs each day while going through different areas and trying to connect to others but all the signals were down since the attack, already depressed from everything being alone in this destroyed city was making thing even worse for him, his mental health especially

but even in these 4 days he had become visible stronger, which was shown in his current battle that he was having again 3 daphs, he was able to handle them easily getting hit only a few times during the whole and rather than being only on defence he was also going for attacks

most of this was because of the system help, on 2nd day he was informed by the system of a way to quickly increase his strength with the help of the crystals that were embedded on the bodies of daphs

it include directly absorbing the energy from those crystals with the help by crushing them and drinking a liquid that comes out of those crystals, it also came with a warning that he should not use it too frequent or the violent energy from those crystals would either make him go Berserk or would kill him by exploding his body to pieces

but the only thing on Krom mind was to become stronger and get revenge so he did not follow the warning and continued to consume as much of those crystals and he could whose affect was clearly visible in the battle he was fighting at the moment

other than the use of crystals to get stronger he also came to know many more things about the system, like he could operate the system in written form as a translucent plate that appears in front of him when he wants and that system measure his progress in level and stats just like a game

he also came to know that he could exchange the crystals that he obtain from daphs with other things from system weapons and skills were a few of them, there was also a storage function in the system where he can store any non-living thing which solved the problem of carrying things for krom so he was no longer using a backpack

other than the crystals killing daphs also gave experience for him to lvl up, which was encouraging krom into battle even more resulting in him going from level 1 to level 3 in this short time granting him one more skill called iron defence, this skill boosted his defence for a duration of 20 seconds

the body of the last deph also fell on the floor meaning that the battle had ended in Krom's favour, he told a short nap after finishing then off before he started to extract those crystals from their bodies, finishing the world here he started to walk once again

{ beep.. beep }

after waking for some minutes he heard a sound which made him change the expression in his face for first time after his first battle
