Beast Tamers

The base has released a massive mission to retrieve soil from the nearby plant shops and bring it in so that the base may start feeding everyone. Kai doesn't care about this noise because Phil has reported unusual signs of animal movements in the mountains behind the villa area.

The wall is there but if the goal is entry into the base, they will find a way. Kai is not afraid of this but is just angered that he will have to use more energy cores to keep the robots outside for a long time because of the low temperature.

The robots are using too much energy when working in the snow to heat up their limbs so they are not stiff and run a risk of being frozen on the spot. He acknowledged that his use of rubber synthetic material has helped him deal with the cold preventing it from reaching the internal system of the robots faster.

But he is still using more than normal amounts of energy. The annoying thing is that in extreme heat seasons he will use even more energy to ensure the rubber doesn't melt. The internal system he used after discovering the zombie core is much more advanced and uses the purified zombie core as an energy source. But Kai values these robots and wants to bring them out incase of a serious emergency.

Kai put his robots on the wall after ensuring they are dressed up enough to at least slow down the cold from freezing them in place. Thankfully his uniforms are light armor artifacts.

Kai noticed that if he soaks them in the tree juice after modifying them into armor, their quality shoots through the roof. That is what he has been doing lately.

Two days later at 2 am in the morning, sounds of laser guns kept ringing coming from the villa area. When it finally became bright the leaders went to check the situation and found that Kai has thousands of soldiers all armed with laser guns the design they have never seen before shooting at the beasts who are trying to attack his territory.

There is no space on the wall many soldiers are lying down while others are standing to make space. The most shocking thing is the numbers of the enemy. Mutated animals have attacked in the dead of the night but Kai countered in time as if he had been expecting an attack. He will not reveal that it is all thanks to Phil.

Phil helps him search and replace those whose energy is about to die out. It is annoying that his hard earned money is being finished so early after he obtained it.

Kai had decided to send 6 thousand soldiers behind the attacking army with the intention to corner them. But what he didn't expect to find is the information that the attack is being led by a group of humans.

Tamers.

The interesting part is that they seem to be using a supernatural ability to control the beasts from the forest. It is impressive that these people are at such a high level. They must have been specifically groomed by a powerful force. If he had to guess it would be the Huo family.

Soon after, Phil confirms his suspension by retrieving the videos from all the recordings around the base and searching ones about this particular topic. He learns that these guys are just the weakest and were sent to test Kai's strength.

Kai knows the entire base wants to know just how powerful he is and if there is a way to be rid of him completely with this sudden attack many would rejoice. This is why even with the attack in full swing, no family has approached him with intent to help.

Kai is not interested in their petty squabbles. Recently he and Phil have been working on something that is making him annoyed with the amount of time he is consuming here fighting the enemy.

He is about to authorize a shoot order when Phil caution him about several cameras recording whatever is happening in this area. He decides to use a new tranquilizer that will not kill these people but render them immobile for a few hours. His robots changed the bullets and then took aim.

One by one they fell on the ground remaining still. The cameras can show that these people are not dead there is not even blood on them since they were shot with needles.

The next problem is that Kai's robots did not move to take them away but made a distance between them and the group of paralyzed people to see any movements. This is to draw in whomever is behind these people or let them die here in a forest full of vicious creatures.

What Kai didn't account for is the animals they had tamed long ago staying guard to keep these people safe. On the other side of the battle, the animals stopped attacking the villa and ran away as soon as the tamers were out of commission.

The robots soldiers began cleaning and collecting all the animals that are mutated meat and not the zombie animals. Kai may have lost a lot of his energy cassettes today but he gained a few thousands pounds of mutated meat.

Kai went around taking away the meat when it is collected into a hill by his people. The other base leaders felt envious of Kai Waters strength and his wealth of supplies. They did not offer to help him in any way so they are not entitled to any of the materials that Kai had just gotten from the attack.

Not all people will stay quiet about this arrangement as many family leaders put a plan in motion that will attack Kai and force him to listen. At the moment however, Kai is assigning jobs on the interface for a few of his soldiers to work on the materials.

Separate the meat, the skin and the bones where necessary and store it in different containers clearly defining the type of animal and body part of each stock. Kai decided to make a new storage warehouse specifically for mutated meat.

He visited the other storage area and found out the rice has been carefully harvested and stored. Not just rice but the wheat and oat grass has also been sorted and stored. Kai now has plenty of flour from both and corn.

The space is so large that he can subconsciously neglected some parts of it but the tasks he had issued at that time is still being executed by his robot soldiers.

30 thousand soldiers should be enough for now. He will continue making more if he finds more cleaning robot factory. For now he will focus on increasing his strength through cultivation. The existence of beast tamers is a big deal for him who also uses others to fight his battles.

Kai feels these old families might have joined forces just for him. He wants to see what else can they do and continues his plan to use the immobile beast tamers to lure whomever will come to their rescue.

Time went by while the humans and robots soldiers under his command work together to clean up the battlefield on the outside while his specialized team separates and store the materials into his warehouses increasing to his overall wealth.

This is further emphasized by the discovery of mutated animals crystal cores which has three times the amount of energy inside a zombie core in the same level.

Kai thinks this is because animals are physically superior to humans and therefore can store and use more supernatural power than humans.

"It is a stalemate over at the forest sir. The tamers will soon regain consciousness." Phil informs Kai who begins to weigh his options.

"Lets take a look." He appears in the middle of a confrontation between the beasts that are protecting the tamers and the beasts of the forest who wants to kill them for food and for controlling them earlier.

Kai is aware that someone is watching him so he can decided to show the aggressor just how far he is willing to go in order to draw them here. Kai sent a few simultaneous lightning strikes towards the beasts that were protecting the tamers and they were quickly overwhelmed by the forest animals.

The beast quickly devoured the tamed beast and soon got closer to the unconscious humans. Kai didn't show any sign of helping as the beast ripped out one tamers arm and he woke up screaming from the pain.

Excited by the fresh blood from the man, beasts started to attack the rest of the tamers. Kai stood at a distant away and calmly watched as only six of the nine people remained. He felt an overwhelming killing intent coming from the central base.

Taking out his flying sword he leaped into the air and stood in the way of the up coming powerful man. This man is not young. He is carrying an axe but Kai is not intimidated by this.

The man releases an awful chuckle that sends a chill into Kai's body leaving his scared and cold. He notes this as a spirit attack. Kai counters the attack with his powerful mental force which he covers his body with creating a mental barrier.

The man is surprised that Kai didn't fall from the sky because he has used that attack to easily defeat many powerful cultivators before. He disappeared from his position and appeared above Kai ready to slice his head down from above using his axe.

Kai uses his supernatural power to summon thunder and strike the man from below making his legs num. Kai is surprised that strike didn't take him out completely but tries not to get distracted.

The man seems to dispel Kai's attack easily as he tries to stabilizes his standing but Kai seeing him unstable, quickly shocks him again with the same attack but from different angles making the man's entire body numb to the extent he can not control his limbs. His axe falls on the ground along with his body. kai sends his flying sword which the man was not expecting and it cuts the side of his abdomen weakening the man.

Kai is using Phil to analyze the effects of his attack on the man and follow up with the appropriate attack to maximize damage. This is why Kai is able to quickly weaken such a powerful master as Phil reveals that the man is in a false level three foundation establishment realm.

Kai has not learned any spells except for the thunder strike and the thunder flame that uses a large chunk of his power. Since he is not sure others will come for him if he weakens himself here, he decides to fight a melee against the man.

The man had been surprised before but seeing he is bleeding profusely from the earlier attack, he summoned his beast to fight Kai while he assists from the side. The beast is a creature that looks like an eagle but has a very large body with sharp looking claws and can shoot out some light fire attack from its claws.

Phil calls it a steel claw thunder bird in the beast manual Kai read previously. It is immune against fire and thunder which will indeed be a challenge for Kai. However, Kai knows that he too has a flying mount that will easily rip the giant bird to shreds.

But before Kai summons his wolf June, the man starts crying tears and a dark aura gathers around him. Kai realized the humans who were Likely the man's students are all dead.

He is not remorseful because if those animals had managed to bridge his defense, many would have died.

"You killed them." With an angry roar he accuses Kai who makes a stance in response. He waits for the man to attack but the man dispels his aura and turns around.

The man vanished in front of him leaving one sentence. "I will see you again. Kai Waters."

Kai knows now that this man probably doesn't belong to any of the families but was hired by one of them to eliminate him. The man and his students were probably chosen because of his proximity to the forest.
