Losing Direction

As all three are looking down on their maps.

"Didn't they say there's multiple locations? Why only three safe zones?" Usagi asked.

"I think they were pulling our legs, but there are mini locations so it's a gamble." Jaxson comment on seeing a couple places that aren't register as Safe Zones.

"Well what do you two want to do? I'm used on following orders." Adrian leans back onto the tree as he's reloading his revolver.

Usagi got an idea. "I can scout a head, but I might need all of the water since it'll take too much of my energy to make a back and forth trip."

Both Adrian and Jaxson look at each other.

"Are you sure, Hare?"

"Because you were planning on using us for your overall plan on surviving these next nine weeks, actually, we'll be out before you."

She gives them a peace sign. "Then I'll find myself a couple of more suckers to use in order to get out. It's only helping myself to survive, and if I have to use my body to do so, then I'll use my body all the way." She giggled.

Adrian doesn't find it funny. "Yeah, maybe next time ask them for consent."

"It was the one time, and you promise we get to do it when we're in a Safe Zone." Usagi said to him.

"Yeah, but the last time I didn't felt a damn thing since I was knocked out cold."

"How about a little kiss on the cheek." Usagi leans up to both of them.

Adrian face shoves Usagi as he walked by her.

Usagi playfully smack the ass, and Adrian continue to walk away with Jaxson behind him.

"Come on!" Usagi happily skips to them.

They make their way into the forest then slowly follow the river bank to refill their water bottles while Jaxson is looking over the map. Looking around his environment in order to map out their position.

"Something seems odd." Jaxson spoke up. Both Adrian and Usagi walk up to him to look at the map. "It says here there should be a small temple around here, but I'm not seeing anything that resemble an entrance way."

Both of them look around.

"Maybe it's underground! This is a big island after all." Usagi start rabbit stomping the ground.

Adrian jokes. "Maybe it's like a video game, and it's up in the sky."

Usagi looks up while Jaxson doesn't find it funny.

"Stop playing around you two. There should be a temple around here." Jaxson is looking around here.

"Maybe it's an Indian trick of a temple?" Usagi said as she's looking up to stars to find the Adrian's joke of a temple.

"If you're talking about the Tipi tents then no. We don't have temples." Adrian corrects her.

"Then how else we could expect a temple out here?" Usagi blindly walking up to them while looking at the skies.

"Maybe it could be that ancient civilization? The Aztecs I think they're called?" Adrian said.

"I'm not a history expert, but I highly doubt anything that's Aztec would be here." Jaxson said while taking the lead.

"Oh!" Adrian had an idea. "Are there any Japanese temples? They're mostly around area."

"If there was, there would've been a town on the bottom." Usagi answered.

"Bottom? So do they really do build temples on top of the hills?" Jaxson said.

"To speak up to the Heavens and be blessed for good fortune." Usagi make a prayer sign.

"Either way, I doubt a temple would be Japanese or Indian, because I can't tell what kind of temple that should be here. Aztec, Chinese, or even Hindu, I'm lost here." Jaxson said to both of them.

He yawns than sat down at a tree.

"Well where ever the hell it is, I'm just gonna sleep right here. Because we all had a long day. I'll waste my next three hours here."

Both Adrian and Usagi look at each other then shrugs.

"Then I'm just gonna scout around for a bit. I want to see if we can find this temple." Adrian said to him.

"Then I'll just find the great temple of the sky!" Usagi is looking up.

Both of them taking off to their own adventure.

Usagi leaps up to the top of the tallest tree to look for the temple in the sky, but only wanted a childish excuse on wanting to see the skies.

Adrian is walking around the forest to look around as he's wondering on where this temple could be.

Looking in the darkness of the forest as he's the only Human out of the trio, but he felt comfortable as he's used to hunting for food during his time in living in an Indian reserve.

Twirling his tomahawk, he's looking around and noticed another person is making their way into a small entrance.

Looking around to see if she's alone, and don't want to be ambush.

He loads up then slowly make his way towards her position.

Carefully passing by each tree branch and rock, then reach up to the rocky wall, he slowly walk up to the entrance way.

Peaking into it, he sees that there's an entrance way into some kind of ruins.

Wanting to go into the unknown of the ruins, he had a choice in my mind. Either go in it alone, or get back up?

Adrian doesn't trust Usagi due to her being from the Ninth Prison, but she's incredibly faster than him. And Jaxson is much more slicker and much stronger than him.

Decided to go back, he made his way back towards Jaxson and Usagi.

Runs back as quickly but silently as possible on not wanting to alert the woman who enter the ruins. Noticing Usagi rabbit ears from the top of the tree. He leaps up to her position with multiple leaps.

"Cotton tail."

Usagi looks annoyed by the name calling. "Call me Usagi! Not cotton tail!"

"Well too bad, I got some news about the temple. So come down the tree."

Adrian leaps off towards Jaxson who's completely fall asleep.

"Eh?" Adrian is confused. He looks around to see his map then did a foot count from their position to the ruins entrance. Made an X mark with mud and using his butt end of the tomahawk. Slowly made it then put it away.

"So where the hell is this temple?" Usagi asked.

"Let's go find out what might be in it." Adrian grins.

Adrian goes up to the entrance with Usagi.

"Tell me about this temple." Usagi is annoyed but was surprised by Adrian passing her multiple bottles of water. "What the hell is this for?" She ponders.

Looking back at her. "You said you wanted to scout ahead, but you need the water bottle, so this is a good chance to see what you can find in that temple." Explain to Usagi who doesn't seem to be fond of the idea.

They walk towards the entrance of the ruins then noticed the hole.

"A rabbit hole? Really?" Usagi turns to Adrian. "Is this because I'm a Hare? If so, you're an asshole."

"Smartass I prefer." Adrian chuckled.

Rolling her eyes.

"Alright then." Usagi drink up her bottles of water then start side hopping.

Adrian offer a handshake which confuses Usagi.

"What's this?"

"You said you wanted to use me and Jaxson back there, so I'm gonna use you till I get out of here. I may not know why you wanted to team up with us, or assaulted me on the get go. But Survival is the key out here, so I would like to feel the solid streets again. So come get me if there's any kinds of trouble."

Looking at the hand then his facial expression, seeing him being serious then sign. "Alright then." Accept the handshake. "Then let's work together. And promise me this, once we reach the Safe Zone, you promise me some fun time." She gives out an affection smile.

"Good luck, cotton tail."

"It's Usagi, asshole."

Usagi then prepared to enter then rush in.

Seeing her enter the ruins till the darkness had taken over.

Adrian is leaning back for what felt like hours only been half an hour till Usagi came back.

"What took you so long, cotton tail?"

"We might need to go in and back up some women." Usagi said to him.

"How heavy is the situation?"

"Let say a small gang is down there."

Looking back at Jaxson position then cock up his revolver.

"Let's rock and roll then!"

Adrian grins out of excitement.
