They are an antivirus, but not against other reincarnates or problems like this, no, your enemy is only one, a virus that destroys everything that human culture that primordial Earth has created, therefore attacking the worlds related to movies, anime, comics, video games, stories. Our protagonist will join four other characters of some known stories to try to repair the damage caused to the affected universes, while they become stronger to destroy the source of the problem. This will be a fanfic where the rewards will not be op, where the knowledge will not be engraved in the minds just for buying it, where the characters will not have advantages like learning the power of other worlds that are not compatible with them, where nobody will get the legendary divine bloodline of the tyrannical Celestial Dragon Emperor. "I hate those horrible animals," Eis said, looking at the strange beast he was holding with his aura tentacle.
It was a strange 'dog' if it deserved to be compared to a man's best friend. But no, it was just a hairless quadruped covered in bloody wounds that oozed blood.
This thing was even flailing in the air, trying to get a taste of his flesh. The creature had come out of nowhere and ambushed him as if it couldn't sense the threat they posed.
"Just put it out of its misery, Eis," said Gojo, who had noticed the furtive presence of many possible enemies, all hiding.
Eis' pair of blue orbs emerged from him, and then one of them flew mercilessly toward the creature's head, crushing it completely and ending its life in suffering.
He didn't like having to do this to poor animals, but this creature had actively tried to hurt them, and even though it was held by Eis' aura, it didn't seem to understand anything, just flailing around, panting, and spitting foam from its mouth like a rabid dog.
"There are so many people hiding here," Eis, who let out an aura pulse, was also able to learn about the hidden enemies.
Azula was also able to detect them with her heat sense, and she was starting to make use of it. Since going through what the group collectively called a "baptism of fire," she noticed the changes in her.
Not only did she have 20% more energy, but she was able to feel her chi much more concretely, she was able to have better control over it because she could now feel her energy pathways.
Sure, those were the changes in her power, but her physique had also improved. She could feel that she was more elastic and her balance had improved much more. She also realized that she was much more beautiful than before.
Not that she had undergone a radical transformation, but the minor imperfections in her features had been removed. Her scars were still there, but she could feel that her skin was softer, yet more resistant, and much shinier.
Her hair even seemed to have changed, it felt much stronger and its black color had become much deeper. I also felt that I could do more things with it, but I had to explore them.
"Would you like to see who knocks down more?" asked Azula to Eis, wanting not only to compete but to unleash her power to test her abilities.
"Will it be just the two of us?" Eis' question could serve as an answer, then the two looked at Jotaro, who nodded.
"I'll let them fight, it's good for Azula to test her body changes in depth, but Lena and I will fight the Capra Demon," Jotaro replied, causing Eis and Azula to quickly jump into the fight.
"Should we go back for the Bull Demon? Or better yet, why are we taking the normal path instead of the shortcuts?" asked Schala, who was a bit curious about the reason for the current situation.
Instead of going directly to Sif, as Gojo suggested, or sneaking through the ruins of New Londo to easily reach Quelaag's domain, they decided to go this way.
Azula wanting to test her powers was not an adequate explanation since the aforementioned paths had plenty of enemies to experiment with.
Then why were they here? Gojo then lifted the blindfold from his eyes and pointed in a certain direction, where he could see a really powerful soul. It wasn't as powerful as Lena's, for example, but it was very noticeable.
"We will save two people and then go straight to Quelaag. Eis already knows that, and he is interested in the magic of this world," Gojo replied, attracting the attention of the rest of the group.
"Magic? That's an even more complicated path than pyromancy. Madmen who use their souls to attack others, but not in a roundabout way like me, they use the energy of their souls to cast their spells, while I use the influence of my soul to attack," Lena said with some disdain towards spellcasters.
Perhaps her bias as a person who used faith for her abilities might have played a role. Warlocks and clerics don't get along very well, they have a lot of differences. But if you notice, Lena was very similar to sorcerers, but not that she minded.
"Not that he had his power system? And that he couldn't learn magic because of the very different concepts, in addition to the incompatibilities with the power systems?" said Jotaro, who was fascinated by Gojo's words.
"Oh, of course it is. Your power system is strange, and even in some ways very restrictive, but Eis wants to explore things from other systems and see how to adapt them to his, he even asked me some things about the Black Flash, something produced in my power system.
Don't be surprised if one day he asks you details about Hamon and Jotaro, or if he goes to Schala to ask her about her magic, or Lena about her miracles.
When he learned that Azula was able to replicate one of his techniques in her style, he was interested in it," Satoru had a slight smile on his face as he thought about Eis' efforts.
The boy had already started to explore the possibilities and limits of his power even before the mission began, which was a good sign indeed, adding Spekkio's advice, and his recently improved control, Gojo could see it.
Eis is breaking out of his mold," the white-haired man thought, remembering the stories of the first users of the cursed energy.
Eis seemed to have become someone who no longer just used his power, but tried to see behind the curtain of it, something many don't do.
It's like Dragon Ball's Ki, the most interesting abilities of this energy were not possessed by the main characters, but by other beings, except for some abilities like teleportation or clothes beam, you will rarely see Goku explore more applications of Ki other than energy beams.
Now, Gojo was being biased and presumptuous here, obviously, Dragon Ball characters know their power deeply, but even at that, they had a hard time separating what was shown in the show from what could have happened in a real universe.
At least in this mission, where subconscious thinking was gradually eliminated, it seems that the group chat knew this drawback and brought them to a world that was very different from the version known to humans on Earth.
Slowly they will realize, even on a subconscious level, that the worlds they are going to are very, very different from what they might know from games, books, series, or movies.
"Eis boy thought is right, it's good to always explore your power," Lena said, leaning against a wall and watching the competition between Azula and Eis.
"I understand, I'll start exploring the uses and limits of my power, then see what I can try," Jotaro commented after meditating on Gojo's words.
As a scientist, he could use that kind of thinking. The Hamon was, in a way, his main question of research, but even if his stand had only one predetermined ability, he could try different things, couldn't he? He remembered the crazy ideas of Kakyoin and Polnareff, his two friends.
Like shrinking his stand, he had never thought of such a strange idea, but his friends had. Thinking about them, he realized that it had been a while since he had been in contact with Polnareff, he should find out what the man was up to when he returned to his world.
Even Schala thought about those words, but then she thought she might try to explore more of her magical power and its possibilities. After all, it wasn't just shadows and darkness.
And while she wouldn't dabble in other elements, she could go for pure magical power applications like the basic spells she was capable of. So she began to mentally go over her magical knowledge, though she kept some of her attention on Eis and Azula, ready to assist if needed.
How were Eis and Azula doing? Let's go back a little further in time, to the exact moment he was thrown to fight the figures hiding in the narrow alley they were in.
The place where they were was technically part of the Undead Keep, right at the bottom of it. They were in a rather narrow street with tall buildings on the sides, which prevented the sunlight from hitting them directly.
In the shadows, there was some debris, wildly growing plants, and even some wooden objects like barrels or carts lying around, some of them even on fire, it looked like someone had set them on fire relatively recently.
If you looked closely, you could see some signs of fighting, which was a common occurrence in this place. When Eis and Azula rushed to this place, several people in strange costumes jumped in front of them.
They looked like ninjas, their slightly bent posture, their black clothes, their masks, and the way they held their daggers could give that impression at first glance, although they were more like classic fantasy thieves.
There were five of them, and the positions in which they appeared were subtle, in the shape of a semicircle, causing Eis and Azula to retreat, so there were undoubtedly enemies hiding behind them.
Of course, they were already aware of the hidden enemies, but they both looked at each other and decided to pretend that they were unaware of the situation. Eis, with his battle mask on, slowly reached into his storage pouch and pulled out the sheath of his weapon.
His actions caused the enemy on the far left to leap nimbly at him, daggers aimed directly at his neck, but this attack was a feint.
His companion ran quickly toward him, daggers pointed at his sides. It was obvious that no matter how Eis reacted if he was much weaker than them, he would undoubtedly be hurt.
But Eis already had the hilt of his weapon, his aura flowing into it and activating it. The energy sword in his hand emitted a slight buzzing sound as he waved it at the enemy, who jumped at him as his body slipped away and retreated smoothly.
The running attack of the enemy on the ground missed, and the man had to stop himself from colliding with his companion due to Eis' abrupt change of position.
Meanwhile, the one in the air found himself facing the tip of Eis' weapon. He tried to use his weapon against the blue-haired boy's energy sword, causing it to sizzle.
The thief realized that his weapons had been pierced and melted by the strange weapon, but luckily he was agile enough to dodge the next blow as his feet hit the ground.
Dropping his useless weapons, he made a series of hand gestures that conveyed the messages to his companion, and then they both looked warily at the hand that Eis had used to hold their weapons.
While Eis was dealing with this situation, Azula was involved in a similar attack. The other three men ran toward Azula, intending to surround her or cause her to panic and retreat.
But our princess had a smile on her face, and soon blue flames erupted from her hands, and the heat of the alley rose. With one blow, she threw a stream of fire at one of them.
Many would attack the one in the center, but she attacked the one to her left, the one that would not only allow her to escape forward but also give her a clear path to Eis, who could come to her aid if necessary.
Caught off guard, the man was covered in fierce blue flames, then an energy sword fell upon him, cutting off his head, and then Eis' voice was heard.
"That's a tie, we're 1-1," Eis said, taking advantage of his two opponents' stupor and Azula's attack to eliminate the person who had isolated them.
"I guess so, shall we go crazy then?" asked Azula before launching herself directly at her two enemies.
"Let's go crazy!" shouted Eis.
The boy's blue orbs surged, these guys weren't worth him expending much energy with his ice orbs. With his weapon raised, he glided towards his enemies, and a fierce massacre began.
Whether it was those thieves, some dogs, or even undead similar to those in the asylum, they were all cut down, crushed, or burned. The enemies were numerous, and it seemed as if they did not care about their losses or their deaths.
This was probably because many of them were undead who were in the process of becoming hollow, or very close to it, so they were constantly rushing at them as if trying to defeat them by sheer numbers.
Azula quickly adjusted to her physical changes and new abilities, while Eis took the opportunity to adjust his techniques, using aura much more efficiently than before.
He also observed the subtle movements of these robbers, they were not just sacks of potatoes. Individually, they were weak, but together, they managed to hit both of them with multiple slashes.
Their ambush skills were quite high, and if it weren't for Eis and Azula's sensory techniques, they would have been dead long ago, or at least seriously wounded.
Not only that, but they didn't make a sound. Yes, it was strange, but they didn't make a sound when they attacked, jumped, or ran. They were like lingering shadows, constantly stalking them for their blood.
Their dagger skills were really good as if the weapon was second nature to each of them. Who were these guys? They didn't know, not that they cared.
Why should they care, except that they were enemies? And when Eis stabbed the last of them from behind, no one would ask that question anymore.
Eis was a little shaken by the constant frenzy, but he resisted using his ice orbs, using this opportunity to hone his fighting skills and feeling that he had gained some good things from the experience.
Azula, on the other hand, was a little upset that she technically lost. She only scored 100 points, while Eis scored 101. Even though there was no bet or anything like that, she walked over to Eis and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, not caring that they were both covered in other people's blood.
"Ah, it was worth it to win this time," Eis joked before looking down the hallway where a strange barrier stood.
The boss mist in this world was more of a barrier than a limitation for the player. It didn't represent their power, but any being that could create barriers had something special about it.
It was obvious that the Capra Demon was behind the barrier. Azula and Eis could sense the presence of this being. It was strong, but Jotaro and Lena were more than capable of facing it.
Now they approached the one life form that had not moved much and seemed to be hiding in one of the buildings at the side of the narrow street.
Eis and Azula threw open the door. Although the boy might know who was behind it, he wouldn't be so gentle, what if he was wrong? It could be an enemy more cunning or cowardly than the others, no one knew.
A bolt of sky-blue light flew straight at Eis' face, but he swung his sword and blocked the energy attack. His hand felt numb from the force of the blow, but he was able to react quickly and speak.
"Wait! We are not hollows or enemies!" shouted Eis, causing the man attacking him to stop muttering.
"And why are you throwing the door?" shouted the man approaching them.
The two could see a man wearing a black robe, a round shield in his left hand, and a staff, or catalyst as it was called here, in his right hand.
"We didn't know if there was a sane person behind the door or a crazed enemy like these," Azula pointed out to one of the robbers, whose body was burned.
When the man saw the singed corpse, he just frowned slightly before looking at the rest of the scene in the alley. Seeing all the bodies cut up and burned, and even some with obvious signs of being crushed, he shivered slightly.
Sorcerers in this world had murder as a sideline, so it was normal for him to see corpses, but to see so many made an impression on him. He had heard the chaos through the door, but he thought there were more of them fighting.
The sorcerer looked at Azula, who was covered in blood but had a smile on her face, and although she had no visible weapons, he noticed that her hands had no obvious marks from the use of a weapon. Then he was able to associate her with fire damage, so he raised the woman's threat in his mind.
Woman? Possible pyromancer? Haha, he wouldn't mess with a possible descendant of Izalith, he was a sorcerer, but he wasn't crazy, even if he didn't know why she didn't seem to be familiar with weapons, he wouldn't underestimate her. Then he turned his attention to the boy.
There was a power about him that looked like magic, but it wasn't magic, it was very different from his power. Two strange blue orbs floated around him in a double helix pattern, and she could tell that they were special objects of alchemy, something truly valuable.
His sword looked like energy surging from the handle, which could explain the slashing damage to the corpses, and seeing certain details on his body, he knew immediately that this young man was a novice assassin.
How did she know? Even though Azula was covered in blood, it was obvious that those traces came from his savagery in battle, while the boy was not so red, as if he wanted to avoid bathing in blood, but so many enemies prevented him from doing so.
His posture, his eyes, and the way he analyzed him indicated his training as an assassin. Another kind of sorcerer? Who knew, he wasn't her mentor Logan?
'I won't trust them, but I should at least thank them for their help,' the man thought before showing his sincerity and putting away his equipment.
"Thanks for the help, those bastards forced me to lock myself in and I almost ran out of mana. My name is Griggs of Vinheim, and yours?" Griggs asked politely.
"Oh, I'm Eis," replied our protagonist as he made his orbs disappear and turned off his energy weapon, but he didn't put the handle down.
"Azula," the princess introduced herself with a simple gesture.
After a brief chat, Griggs was able to meet the rest of the group, including Lena, and when he learned that she was the one who rang the bell, he quickly became excited.
"That's you!!! That's good, very good!" the man said excitedly before explaining the reason for his excitement.
He left Vinheim to look for his master but found that his trail had ended at Sen's Fortress, but it was closed and would only open when the two bells were rung.
Just when he thought that would not be possible, he heard the first bell ring, prompting him to make the reckless decision to head to Brighttown to ring the second bell, or at least to meet the one who could.
His plan did not work and he was ambushed by thieves, forcing him to lock himself in until he was rescued. A similar situation happened to another person, Laurentius, a pyromancer who was not captured far from that alley, but his final fate was much uglier.
After Lena and Jotaro quickly got rid of the Capra Demon, they decided to rescue Laurentius if it was possible according to the knowledge of the game. But when they arrived, they only found some canine enemies, undead, and two cannibal butchers.
Then they found a pot containing the chopped-up remains of the man. Next to it were his clothes and the items from his storage room that had been freed by his death.
They found a thick book of pyromancy, which they gave to Azula, who could draw inspiration from these techniques. Too bad they didn't find a Pyromancy Flame, it seems it wasn't just an object, though it would have been better.
Pyromancy was dangerous, if Azula just imitated her abilities it was fine, but dabbling too much in this unstable power could prove to be very dangerous, let's not forget that this power was the creator of chaos and demons.
When they returned to the Firelink Shrine to rest before heading directly to Quelaag's territories, Eis took the opportunity to ask Griggs some questions about magic.
"You want me to explain the basics of magic and spells, but you don't want to learn magic? Are you a hollow?" asked Griggs in surprise, not understanding this strange young man.
"I just want to learn the details, that is all I need," Eis replied.
"Well, you saved my life, take this as my return for that favor," Griggs shook his shoulders before continuing to explain what Eis wanted.
'Looks like even the youngsters are going crazy now,' Griggs thought as he saw Eis' excited face at his explanation.
What he didn't know was that in the future, Eis would use his words to create some very interesting things with his power, Aura.
