Chapter 20: The Shining Knights Strikes back!

"They are all falling back Leader." Bones said as before the attack they planted some trackers on them just in case and on the monitor, it is shown that they are leaving the area "Good, now what will it be Leader of the Shining Knights?." Gwyn asked as she was hoping they'd accept her offer to join forces to defeat the Scorching Scorpions.

"How will we know you won't betray us." Violet asked out of suspicion "There's one thing we never told those guys when hiring mercenaries." Gwyn said "It's that before hiring they should've signed a contract from us to have our full fledged loyalty." Kix said "So in order for to prevent you guys from acting on treason they have to sign this contract?." Oliver asked "That's right." Frenda replied "So did they form a contract with you guys?." Xander asked "If they signed the contract this wouldn't be happening right now would it?." Kix said "No, when they first heard of us they simply begged for us to join them and offered us money." Gwyn replied.

"Signing this will give us your loyalty?." Oliver asked "Yes." Bones replied, Frenda then approached Oliver "I-I-I'm s-s-sorry." She said in a timid way, Oliver was blushing at how adorable she looks towards him "I-I-It's no problem, really." Oliver said as he was trying to hide his embarrassment "Hmmm?." Connor reacted as he noticed Oliver's reaction towards one of the mercenaries.

"We'll sign it!!." Connor said in a kiddy voice, and as everyone was shocked to how quick their Leader's judgement was "B-Boss you don't mean it." Xander said "Why not? we both share the same goal right? there's no point or gain for either side to betray one another so we'll take your offer." Connor said as he takes and signs the contract.

"He's always like this, too free spirited." Oliver said "for once I agree with you Mage." Violet said "Well that's what makes our Leader fun to be with right?." Xander said.

As Connor was done signing the contract Kix and Bones went down from the van and faced Connor.

"As of this moment we are all your servants and are under your command, we are forbidden to harm one of you and we hope to be of use to you." Gwyn and the rest were kneeling in front of Connor "Now Now You guys don't have to kneel in front of me." Connor said.

Gwyn then remembered someone from her past

*Past*

Gwyn was still learning to control her powers at this time, "You have to concentrate to make it shape into the image you want it." He said.

After multiple trial and errors she finally managed to give it shape into the water sword "Congratulations Gwyn you have finally did it." He said as he gave her a warm smile, Gwyn then knelt in front his master "T-T-Thank you M-Master." She said in a low voice "Come on now Gwyn you don't have to kneel in front of me." He said as he lend out his hand in front of her.

*PRESENT*

Connor was lending out his hand towards Gwyn "I can't believe this." She muttered to herself as she reaches his hand.

"Xander, contact Cameron and Emilia we'll need everyone for this." Connor said "Yes Boss." He replied.

"Now Shall we get started." Connor said to Gwyn.

A few hours later while they were preparing for their assault "Stella, I need you to stay at your friend's house for today alright." Connnor said "What? Why? You're not thinking on going to those guys base are you?." Stella said while Connor was silent "No please stay here with me, don't go." Stella said while Gwyn was listening to their conversation near by "Please Connor, I need you here with me." Stella pleaded her boyfriend to stay with her.

"I'm sorry Stella. but whoever tries to harm our future, will pay with their lives." Connor said.

Then Stella's friend's car arrived to pick her up "You called her?." Stella asked "I'm sorry Stella. but I want you to be safe." Connor said.

Connor then brought Stella to the car "I promise I'll come home." Connor said as the car left.

Gwyn was standing from behind and said something while Connor was being silent "Let's go already." Connor said.

*Before*

"Now shall we get started." Connor said to Gwyn "First things first, Boss may I speak with you alone." Gwyn said.

"What do you think they might be doing in there?." Cameron wondered "Are you curious Camyy? maybe you want us to go together in a room too." Emilia said as Violet pulled Emilia away from Cameron "You seriously need to watch your mouth girl." Violet said "No wait! Camyyy wants to do it with me!!." She repeated, She then punches Emilia leaving her unconscious.

*Inside the van*

"Soo what do you want to talk about?? Is this a confession?." Connor joked around as he was in a good mood "We noticed someone is leaking information to the Scorching Scorpions." Gwyn said "Are you sure?." Connor's mood from being all happy a minute ago changed to being all serious "Yes, While my team were getting some of their files on their computer they noticed recent messages being sent to them." Gwyn said as she gives Connor what they found.

"This is?." Connor asked "Yes it's every detail of your members including yours's Information all your abilities, weaknesses are probably just their hypothesis but these are all too detailed Information for it to be a coincidence, No someone from your team is feeding them all of this." Gwyn said "I see, well we shouldn't worry about that for now we should be planning our attack." Connor said in a happy tone "And not to mention they leaked your address." Gwyn said "I knew it didn't made any sense they'd find us too quickly." He replied back to a serious tone.

"If you know who it is, then I suggest you take him down." Gwyn said "I'll think about it, we leave tonight." Connor said as he gets out of the van.

*Present*

Connor and the rest were already heading towards the Scorching Scorpion's base while an Assassin was following the car where Stella is in and waiting to strike.

"Their base is right over here." Gwyn said "Alright Violet it's up to you to cause some chaos." Connor said "Don't worry Boss I'll make sure they don't mess with the Shining Knights ever again." Violet said as she wore her armor.

"HEYYY TRASH GET OUT OF HERE!!! IT'S OUR TURN TO DEAL SOME DAMAGE!!!!." Violet yelled out in their front gate "Get her!!." Scorching Scorpion grunt yelled "Sending out the vermin, you're no fun!." Violet slashed every one of the grunts that charged towards her "ARCHERS!!." Grunt yelled "HAH!." Violet then charged towards the top "Where did she go!?." Archer said as they were panicking "Where are you aiming you trash!." She said as she slaughters every archer that was present.

"Now while they're distracted!." Connor said as the rest of them proceeded to head to the back. Violet killed every one of the archers while a few grunts went outside the door "Over there!." Lancer grunt "She's on top of us!." Lancer grunt yelled out, Violet then sighs "This is really starting to bore me." She said as she plunges towards the Lancers on the ground.

"All Lancers? This will be a piece of cake." Violet said as she dodges the lance thrown at her and continues to slaughter the grunts while some managed to fend off her strikes but none has managed to hit her.

"SHIELDERS!!." He yelled, the Lancers then backed away from Violet, she tried to chase after them but the Shielders arrived and trapped her in a circular formation while the lancers tried to pierce her from the inside, Violet managed to fend off the strikes with her sword but in a matter of minutes daggers were coming from all directions.

"Funny little nobodies trying to pin me down!." Violet said as she grabbed and pulled the spear impaling the user in mid air but her arm was pierced by a dagger "Crap didn't notice that one!." Violet said while the Shielders and Lancers stopped their assault but were still on their guard.

She then hears clapping as the mastermind appears "Well done, The Mad Berserker of the Shining Knights, I did not expect you to survive everything I have prepared for you." Poisan said as he gives his respects to Violet "Heh!? You're the one who plotted this, Kinda sloppy for a formation don't ya think!." Violet yelled as she grabs and pulls another Lancer and stabs him in the air, she then throws the corpse at Poisan's direction.

He managed to dodge it "Now Now throwing corpses? Truly unsuited of a little girl like you." Poisan mocks her as another dagger grazes her armor "You bitch! why not you come down here and we'll face it off one vs one." Violet requested "You are in no place to make a deal with me and I'm sure if we fought I'd be the winner." Poisan said as he tries to go back inside "Oh? Is that so?." Violet replied as she herself exploded in the area wiping out every one on the field.

"What the hell are you!!." Poisan reacted to seeing Violet with her new red and purple armor "Let's find out shall we?." She said as she disappears "What??." he was cautious, out of nowhere Violet appeared behind him and punched him towards the bottom "Let's finish our battle earlier!." Violet said as she rushes towards Poisan on the ground.

While Connor and the rest managed to get in with no problems "Kix any progress?." Gwyn asked "Yes, as planned Poisan's battling Violet right now, just go straight ahead." He said.

Kix was at the van monitoring their targets movement with the tracking device they managed to plant them with, but as Kix was watching Scar's and the other Assassin's device were missing.

"Crap! Leader I think they already found out about the devices." Kix said as he was getting restless "It's a little early but we'll deal with any unexpected grunts you guys keep going." Gwyn said.

"Hoy!." "It's them!!." "Sound the alarm!!." The Grunts yelled Gwyn fired water projectiles at the grunts as they proceed to head towards Scar's room.

Xander then blocks everyone from the incoming daggers "Go I'll deal with this!!." Xander said as he rushes towards the source of where the user was "You better end it quick or we'll beat him before you do." Connor said in a happy tone "Seriously I can't believe that guy." Xander said sarcastically "We meet again." Xander said "Sorry to keep you waiting." The Assassin replied as he throws another batch of daggers.

"Leader I can only track Poisan from here hope you guys do well." Kix said on the phone "Where was his last known position?." Gwyn asked "He was right in his room." Kix said "Then he's still there knowing that guy!." Gwyn replied.

"He's right in front of this door!." Kix said "Alright." Connor replied.

As they opened the door Scar was sitting at his throne waiting for them "Welcome uninvited guests." Scar said as he gave them a diabolical smile.
