"Princess Evie, you need to stand with better posture, and raise your chin when you walk" came the voice of a brown haired woman as raised Evie's chin up as Evie raised her chin.
"Yes Lady Leena" said Evie as she nodded her head.
"Eye contact Princess Evie , eye contact, as Crown Princess no one intimidates you, you intimidate others, and in order to do that, you must keep eye contact at all times, do not be afraid to stare into someone's eyes, just please do not turn it into a staring contest" said the woman named Lady Leena as Evie nodded.
"Yes Lady Leena" said Evie as she nodded.
"Good now posture, poise, and balance" said Lady Leena as Evie took a deep breath and she walked as Lady Leena watched her.
"Your feet, you are not walking elegantly enough" said Lady Leena.
"But Lady Leena, won't high heels make me look already elegant enough?" asked Evie as she sighed and she looked at Lady Leena.
"Not at all Princes Evie, a Queen must be graceful, elegant and always stand tall" said Lady Leena.
"Like so" said Lady Leena as she demonstrated and she walked as Evie was really wondering what the big deal was, it wasn't like she was clumsy and would fall down if she didn't walk in the 'proper' lady like way.
"If you ask me it is totally unnecessary" said Evie.
"Shall I call your mother?" asked Lady Leena.
"You shall not, I already have her on my back as good enough as it is" said Evie as she sighed.
"Princess Evie, I know that what I am saying right now does not make sense in theory, but when you are in that ballroom, the centre of attention of everyone, in the midst of noble ladies and lords that have been learning these things since they could walk, you would not want to make a fool of yourself now would you?" asked Lady Leena as Evie shook her head.
"Exactly, you will be future Queen, and of course your aura and poise will stand out more than theirs, it does not matter if you weren't born a princess, but you are one, and it is in your blood, you need to learn these things so no one will dare try to trample over you, and his Majesty has tasked me with making sure that you are completely ready" said Lady Leena
"*Ugh*, but it's impossible, how am I supposed to learn all these in three days? The coronation is in three days" said Evie.
"And whose fault it that? If you had read all the books, I gave you, and attended my lessons this would not be a rushing thing" said Lady Leena as Evie groaned.
"Alright now, come on do it again, I want to see you walk elegantly like the future Queen that you are" said Lady Leena as in that same moment there was a knock on the door.
"Hello, hello, am I interrupting?" asked Maddie as she knocked on the door and she opened it.
"Oh Maddie, no, no way you are not interrupting anything at all, come in, come in" said Evie as Maddie smiled.
"Hello" said Maddie as she smiled at Lady Leena and Lady Leena smiled at her.
"Oh Lady Leena, this is my friend Maddie" said Evie.
"Maddie this is Lady Leena my etiquette trainer" said Evie as she smiled.
"Ahh I see, nice to meet you" said Maddie as she smiled.
"I hope that I am not distracting Evie, if I am, I can just leave" said Maddie as she smiled.
"No Maddie, please stay, you can sit and watch, please I need someone here with me, not that Lady Leena is not wonderful company" said Evie as she laughed and Lady Leena just sighed.
"Well okay, I will just sit over here and read" said Maddie as she smiled and she pointed to the book in her hand and she sat down.
"Alright now Princess Evie, you will walk towards me with grace and poise" said Lady Leena as she put three heavy books in Evie's hand as Evie walked to the end of the room and Evie took a deep breath and she exhaled as she put the books on her head she raised her chin slightly and walked slowly as Maddie looked up from her book.
"That's it" said Lady Leena as Evie tripped and she fell.
"Evie are you okay?" sked Maddie as she rushed to Evie.
"I'm fine, I'm fine, gosh" said Evie.
"Who knew that this was so hard" said Evie as she sighed.
"Is it?" asked Maddie as Evie nodded.
"Well it doesn't look that hard though" said Maddie.
"You can try if you want to" said Lady Leena.
"Be my guest" said Evie as she handed Maddie the books.
"Umm okay" said Maddie as she got up and she put the books on her head as she walked across the room.
"You see Princess Evie, a display of perfect poise" said Lady Leena.
"Yeah, yeah, you probably learnt how to walk like that before Maddie" said Evie as Maddie laughed and she shook her head.
"Well no not really, maybe I was born to be a princess" said Maddie in sarcasm as Evie laughed.
"Well Princess Evie, we can take a five minute break, I will be back and then we will continue" said Lady Leena as she walked out of the room and Evie sighed as Maddie put the books back on the shelf and she sat down on the couch as Evie joined her.
"Why didn't you go out to the lake with the others?" asked Evie.
"I didn't want to be with that blondie, the least I can do it come to terms with his existence" said Maddie.
"Is he that bad?" asked Evie in surprise.
"He's the worst, he looks innocent, but he's dubious, don't let his blondie hair fool you, he's nothing but a bad person with many personal intentions" said Maddie.
"Do you mean with Annie?" asked Evie.
"What do you think?" asked Maddie.
"Well where is Annie?" asked Evie.
"Another reason why I'm here, Annie has a terrible headache so didn't go to the lake with Matt and the others" said Maddie.
"Oh, I hope she feels better soon" said Evie.
"Me too" said Maddie.
"Anyway, now, you have to teach me how you walk like that, please, please" said Evie as Maddie laughed.
"It's easy, just envision everyone as ants below you who are not worth your recognition and you stand high and tall above them, crushing any one of them that tries to retaliate" said Maddie with a smile.
"Was that a joke or what?" asked Evie.
"Well what do you think?" asked Maddie as she laughed.
"I'm serious Maddie, please I have three days to cram this stupid princess walk" said Evie as Maddie laughed.
"Relax Evie, relax, I got you, you will be beyond ready, come on, first you need to stretch because you look very stressed" said Maddie as Evie sighed and she nodded.
…
"Curtis" called Annie as it was unbearable for her to walk with the amount of pain that she was feeling right now.
"Curtis" called Annie as she opened the door and she could not find Curtis anywhere as she sat down on the couch.
"Curtis, come here now I need you, like seriously" said Annie as her head felt like it was splitting in two, so she closed her eyes and when she opened them again Curtis was standing right beside her.
"What's wrong Annie?" asked Curtis.
"Curtis, I have this horrible headache" said Annie.
"It feels like my head is about to explode, and nothing is working to relieve my headache" said Annie as Curtis placed his hand on her forehead and he could feel her burning up.
"Your headache isn't normal" said Curtis.
"I know that by now Curtis, do something, I feel like I'm dying" said Annie as the pain had gotten so bad.
"Annie, listen to me, have you used your powers again?" asked Curtis as Annie shook her head.
"No, I haven't, just find a way to chase this headache away, do something" said Annie as Curtis closed his eyes, he could feel her discomfort.
"Well you need to use your powers frequently, since your body has been dormant for long, the return of your magic is causing a disruption that interferes with you since you are human" said Curtis.
"Simple words Curtis, simple words" said Annie as she could not even try to think right now.
"What I am trying to say is that your power is overflowing, and your body can't contain it, and in the process it's making you have bad side effects, and this includes this headache" said Curtis as Annie groaned.
"Then what do I do to get rid of it?" asked Annie.
"You have to cast a spell" said Curtis.
"Can't you do it for me?" asked Annie as Curtis shook his head.
"But which spell should I..." asked Annie as she could not even finish her sentence due to the great pain that she was feeling right now.
"It's up to you Annie" said Curtis too casually for Annie's liking.
