Nexus stood with an evil smirk on his face, casting a disdainful gaze upon Lazat and the other four family heads.

With his Cultivation base at the Body Integration Realm, Nexus possessed the power to single-handedly eliminate all of the Nobles and threats to the Kingdom. However, he preferred not to act alone, choosing instead to delegate tasks to others.

Addressing the family heads, Nexus declared, " As I said earlier you have tormented this Kingdom for far too long. It is time to pay for the crimes and atrocities you have committed." His words were delivered with a cold, unwavering gaze.

In response, the Head of the Emberflare Family demanded, "Who are you to dictate how we treat this Kingdom?"

Nexus remained silent, his gaze piercing and intense.

" What does that have to do with you on how treat this Kingdom. Those mortals are just ants we can squash anyhow we want, they should be grateful that we didn't killed them and allowed to continue to live with their pitiful lives. So how dare come here and killed our people and threaten to kill us "

Despite the Emberflare Family Head's defiance, Nexus exuded a palpable aura of killing intent.

He didn't even see how grave the situation is, he still didn't know how dangerous Nexus. Lazar and the others looked at him as if they were looking at a fool.

The temperature in the hall grew colder, sending shivers down the spines of all present. Even Lazar, the strongest among them, felt a sense of fear in Nexus's presence.

But the Emberflare Family Head didn't seem to notice anything and continue to shout with arrogance and defiance.

Suddenly,Nexus took a step forward. Lazar who was on guard the whole time shouted, "Look out!"

" BOOOOOM "

But it was too late. A deafening noise echoed through the hall, sending the people into a panic.

They watched in horror as the Emberflare Family Head was embedded on the opposite wall.

The Emberflare Family Head who was shouting and jumbing a moment ago was now embedded on the wall, all his bones were broken.His skin was split opened in various places with blood gushing out what was unsightly was that all his meridians were broken, he was completely wasted, he can't Cultivate again, he has become a cripple.

Lazar and the three other family heads exchanged glances, their faces filled with concern. One of them was swiftly defeated, leaving his life and situation completely unknown to the group. Before they could even react, he was already beaten to a pulp.

Nexus's face remained cold, but the evil smirk on his lips persisted.

As Lazar gazed at Nexus, he slowly unleashed his aura, revealing his Eight Layer Spirit Realm Cultivation base. The other three also released their auras.

"Let's attack together!" Lazar shouted as he led the charge, clenching his fist and blasting it towards Nexus. The other three followed suit, attacking simultaneously.

Nexus shook his head and muttered, "Too weak."

" BOOOOM "

With a deafening boom, an aura of immense pressure exploded out of Nexus's body, instantly dissolving the attacks.

Nexus stood at the center as a shockwave spread out, causing tables and chairs to be blasted into pieces. The guests in the hall were thrown off their feet and slammed against the walls.

Lazar and the three other family heads, who were closest to Nexus, were especially affected. Lazar was blasted a few feet away, stumbling backwards before regaining his footing.

The other three were not as lucky, being swept off their feet and thrown into the distance, vomiting as they went. Their faces were pale with shock.

Lazar's face was as pale as a ghost, as blood trickled down the corner of his mouth.

His eyes were wide with fear as he gazed at Nexus, whose entire body was surrounded by swirling arcs of colored energy. Nexus's red hair fluttered in the air, giving off an aura of dominance.

"Y-you're at the Body Integration Realm?" Lazar stammered, his voice trembling.

He only heard a chuckle in response, followed by a cold and emotionless voice near his ear. "You are dead,".

Lazar was shocked as he turned to face Nexus, only to realize it was just an afterimage. The real Nexus had already appeared behind him.

Before he could react, Lazar felt a powerful force slammed into him his vision blurred as he slammed against his throne blasted the throne into smithereens.

Lazar vomited blood, his eyes filled with terror. He couldn't move as his entire body wracked in pain, all his bones broken. He looked at Nexus, who had appeared beside him, with a pleading look in his eyes. "P...lea..se, don't kill me." Lazar struggle uttter these words while vomitted blood.

Nexus crouched down and look at Lazar with ridicule, " Oh you don't want to die, ok , don't worry I won't kill but the people of this Kingdom are the once who are going to kill you with their own hands".

With that Nexus placed his palm on Lazar abdomen, channelling his energy into his body, with a loud bang.

Lazar meridians were immediately ruptured, his skin split opened Lazar eyes widened as if they were about to popped out of their sockets. He Coughed out large volume of blood, his face turned even pale as white as a sheet of paper.

Nexus gazed icily at Lazar before rising to his feet and surveying the scene around him. The guests in the hall all bore pallid complexions, some lying unconscious on the ground while a few remained huddled together in a corner, their eyes filled with fear and terror.

Initially, the guests had believed that Nexus and his group, who had rudely crashed their banquet uninvited, would swiftly meet their demise. However, the brutal reality soon became apparent.

A team of fifty soldiers, each possessing the formidable strength of the Peak Ninth Layer of the Essence Meridian Realm, were mercilessly slaughtered in a mere second. These soldiers, painstakingly trained by the Five Noble Families, were dispatched before they could even react.

To compound the tragedy, the Head of the Emberflare Family was gruesomely impaled upon the wall, while the remaining three were swiftly defeated by the sheer force of Nexus's aura. As for Lazar, he too was swiftly incapacitated, rendered powerless to resist.

A mysterious figure cloaked in black appeared at the entrance of the hall,as the mysterious figure cloaked in black entered the main hall, all eyes turned to him but nobody stopped him.

The figure made his way to Nexus, and as he removed his hood, Kassius' face was revealed.

"Your Highness," Kassius bowed and greeted Nexus.

Nexus nodded and asked, "Have you completed the task, Grandpa Kassius?" .

Kassius replied, "Yes, Your Highness, everything has been taken care of."

" Lexx,Tyler " Nexus called out faintly.

Lexx and Tyler, appeared infront of Nexus in the next moment.

"Cripple the other two family heads and lock the rest up. Also, take a team and capture all of the Nobles," Nexus instructed Lexx. Lexx respectfully bowed and left to carry out the orders.

Turning to Tyler, Nexus said, "Take a team and seal off the entire Capital city. Don't let anyone in or out, do you understand?".

" Understood Your Highness ". Tyler nodded and quickly left to follow the instructions.

Nexus then turned to Kassius," Grandpa Kassius you also take a team and search all the Noble Families, take anything valuable, and bring it back here ".

" Understood " .Kassius nodded and left to carry out his task.

Nexus gave out a series of instructions before slowly leaving the hall with his hands behind his back.

Early the next morning, as the morning sun slowly rose from the east, it illuminated the sky with a warm glow. The chorus of birds singing echoed in the background, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

In the Capital City of the Purple Thorn Kingdom, the people woke up with numb and lifeless eyes, resigned to their miserable lives.

Suddenly, the sound of a bell rang out across the city, breaking the silence.

The commoners raised their heads and looked in the direction of the sound, making their way there with pale faces. They had heard this sound countless times before, so they weren't surprised.

It was just another unlucky person who had offended the Nobles and was about to be punished. With indifferent expressions, they continued on their way towards the sound of the bell.
