Shivani heard Mrityunjay's words, stunned. "Half-brother?" she repeated his words. “But why is he in jail?" she queried him, worried now.

"He has been falsely implicated in a case of human trafficking," Mrityunjay explained to her. She was completely thrown off by his words. She was married to someone whose half-brother, as he called him, was accused in a case of human trafficking? What the hell was going on in her life? Shivani's fingers came over her mouth in utter shock. He stood watching her, letting her take in the shock his words must've caused her.
