It was silent for a moment before a young student asked a simple question "What?" " I'm going to check you if you've changed or have any special things like abilities or traits." Was Nicks's reply, perhaps not wanting to seem stupid or due to a trace amount of fear the students didn't ask further as Alex was about to stand up a kid that Max didn't really know trembled and slowly forced himself up then walked up and towards Nick

"Just be careful" from those few words Max felt inspired by him and ashamed by his own uneasiness and fear "Okay" Nick said yawning and he suddenly had a strange book appear in his hand and he reached out his other towards the student

Person, it was thin blue and transparent but it was strange and looked as if it had and that was it only a few seconds "…" Nick waited and the student returned to his desk not a word had been spoken and Max felt stupid and exasperated in how simple that was and said a lot of words to himself about how intellectually disabled he must be.

After a few people got checked Max got ready ' the god said we couldn't get kind controlled but unless the person changed my memory to say that but if that happens why would they have me think this' after a few seconds of countering his thoughts he got up and went up himself he did a half wave, Half a second later he walked back a simple thing really

Korvonski walked into the hall and just waited for a second and said. "Follow me." And they rose from their desks and followed him.

Korvonski lead them a few halls further down were they took a turn to a medical room, then stopped a little bit into the entrance of it, a strange circular platform was in the middle it had a metal base and rim with a black glass top and it had a wire connected to a a large black glass pane and announced that " When people are brought here through means which gives them a new body so you may be different. This is a device meant to check your species so we will better understand your abilities. The way to check a person is by making them stand on it, like." Korvonski steps onto the platform and the students make a semicircle around him after a second the platform sinks a bit.

Max thought a bit about how he didn't notice and then whispered . "maybe he needs to turn it in to the prince or a king maybe a queen." John looks up for a second or three. Max replies with an extreme accent John smirks and Max thinks about if any of this is real and if he's in a coma or having a dream as he bleeds out questioning if any of his life was real and he noticed that the line had shortened, Zen

The word demon appeared for roughly 3/4 of a second and then was quickly deleted and was the points from that was put into mixed

Everyone was looking at Max and the words with high amounts of concern

"Anhmm." Is what Korvonski groaned stifling a yell and stiffening with irritation or maybe something else the attention from Max was quickly shifted though temporarily. "Oh,sorry." Is what he said shortly after his light outburst "it's that just we should go ba- wait the rest of the physical tests need to be done before we go back to Nick everyone do your best. First change into some clothes that fit you,"He pointed to a area in the corner a curtained of box.

"there's some clothes in a few sizes so form a single file, after you change run as fast as you can back a forth across this room and as long as you can go also I need heights before you got here" the women went first into the rooms because the men there had basic chivalry and Max went to the back of the line and when it was his turn he walked in and just noticed that it only hand a long table with many types of shirts pants and a few pairs of under wear after suiting up he left with a black pair of sweatpants like trousers and a white-beige shirt basically the same as literally everyone else and then he ran.

Everyone ran till they were out of breath with John being ecstatic afterwards and Max mentally questioning himself on why anyone would be so happy.

Korvonski checked their height let them rest for a few minutes and then brought them out and to the classroom door where he knocked. "You can come in without knocking Korv."

Is what was yelled by Nick then Korvonski opened the door where Nick slid in front of the door frame in an wheeled office chair with his hair being messed up and slightly shaded differently and behind him where a few pedestals with varying things on them like a small purple-red velvet box, a pale golden crown with a white gem in the middle , a dagger,and a beaded necklace. He got up from the chair and went to the front of the room.

"We will have a first class though it will be short so sit down." and everyone took their seats " for this class you will once again tell me your name" the students each awkwardly stood up and told the teacher their name then sat back down "I'm not sure why you guys stood up for that but as you know my name is Nick and I also got reincarnated kind of so we might belong to the same world but I got here long before you did and I wasn't in this body I'll tell you guess later but the purpose of todays class is to tell you about the items I mentioned I think , I'll show you what they do and talk about the specifications of them" Nick said as he walked up to the first pedestal with the box and turned to the the last one the necklace and picked it up it was covered in different colors of beads

"This item is an accessory item you wear it as an accessory of course the beads are made of magic stones mostly condensed." As he was speaking a hand rose from the crowd from John, Nick noticed. "Details about this will be in one of the first lessons, though it might be taught by another teacher. This is an Artificial item meaning that it was made by people so it's just called magic gear or a magic item .It gives the wearer temperature control so heat or cold won't affect them as much and if the persons overheated or freezing and puts it on it'll turn their temp to normal." He looks around the crowd "John you try it on first and pass it on to a person next to you." John walks out from the middle of the crowd and grabs it and slowly puts it on and sighs "to be honest the heat was killing me especially after the running" he just waits for a few seconds and takes it off and hand it over to Jack and he puts it on and does the same they pass it around and Max gets it he just put his arm in it and thinks

'I was a bit curious about it but now I know it doesn't have to be worn like the thing is shaped to work this is a really nice temperature. '

He takes off the necklace and hands it to Twelve who who put it on and takes some deep breaths mutters "nice." And he walks over and hand the necklace back to Nick who places it back on the pedestal and moves onto the next item the dagger he picks it up and tosses it up and the air slightly three times and looks up at the students "this is a weapon item. It is also a dungeon or a monster based magic item those are basically weapons made by monsters or found in dungeons it could also be a unenchanted item found by monsters and then enchanted but not all monster weapons are enchanted . It's abilities are basically just sharpness which makes the blade less dull and lessens dulling , durability which increases the strength of the blade and makes it less likely to chip, and last anti corrosion which prevents rust and helps with chemical deterioration. I will not pass this out due to the fact that it is dangerous." With that being said he walked to the golden crown and picked it up

"This is called a blessed item meaning it was either given to us by a god or enchanted by one or a spirit or servant of god most blessed items blessed by gods are extremely over powered but this was blessed by a minor spirit of light so it does… it does" he stopped for a second and looked at the crown in his hands in squinted "this is basically a headlamp it also increases regeneration" he said calmly and put it on his head

The gem in the middle of the crown lit up faintly "the darker the room is the brighter it lights" he added then took the crown off

The light faded from the gem slowly "and for the finale item" he picked up the box "the" he opened it "ring of whatever I guess" he pulled out a ring it was gold rimmed and had a black center "this ring is a item made by men but it's purpose is to weaken people these are either called binding items or debuff items of course there is enhancing items but we didn't bring them. This ring weakens the user tremendously and it has an affect where it is nearly impossible well pretty hard to notice this weakens magic abilities not physical will pass this around and just check how it feels it may affect some of you more than others, but due to the the camouflage type ability or hidden ability you may not notice it ." and he passes it to Twelve who mutters a thanks and puts it on and his eyes widen then passes it on to the next person. Max is only somewhat paying attention because he is thinking of the artifacts

' The fact that it is camouflaged may explain why it is in a box for it may be difficult to notice if it were somewhere else but it was on a pedestal. Weird.'

He stops his mental rambling when the ring gets passed to him when he realized that everyone has already used it and he puts it on it felt weird to put it simply like something in his chest was drained or half full like he was almost taking a deep breath but couldn't fully it was wrong and then he looked up at the presenter and noticed that he was starting to talk again Nick cleared his throat

"One way of seeing what items are which is by a common spell for you guys it's called "inspect" or in some cases "identify" one for creatures the other for objects depending on the amount of force you put on it the more info you can get the energy that you use it kind of changes on how much you now about the item or Creature."

'So basically the amount of energy i expend is dependent on the amount of knowledge I previously have or have obtained on the entity or item fascinating mwahaha. Oh wait the ring I should probably give it to him now so I don't forget the camo ability on this is amazing It slipped my mind or My memory is still garbage. probably both'

After showing off the items Nick took a break and Korvonski approached him and gave Nick the notes. Nick simply glanced at them "Ill read them later " and put them in a pocket inside of his coat

"Now we are going to do the test of magic and then another test" Nick said and some students groaned "yeah sorry. I understand " Nick said though Max was curious and maybe even a bit excited

As Korvonski exited the room waving to the students as they formed a trail behind him and while he led them yet to another ridiculously large room Max went to Nick who was a few paces behind the rest of the group "I didn't give you the ring earlier " Max said as he held the ring up to him "Ah, thanks man" Nick was reaching out to the ring when a thought occurred to him 'I have like twenty pockets even I might forget about this ring' after thinking that he said "actually can you hold onto that. Maybe after your test I'll take it " Max was confused and just accepted that and muttered an "Okay" and slipped it into his pants pockets and said "You remind me of someone"

Nick looked at Max and thought for a bit "To honest I've been living in this world for a while now longer than you can think. I don't talk the same and I have a different body but what is it that I remind you of" he said quietly in a somewhat sorrowful tone "Just like a feeling man can't explain" was Max's reply "Yeah, maybe it's nothing but where did you die, bud? And how forgot to ask " Nick asked Max groaned

"A school shooting man that's stupid oh and I lived in the great cit- I mean state of Iowa" Max says while pooling in tons of fake enthusiasm into the end "Hey, I lived in Iowa for a bit and my brother went to school there though he didn't die in a school shooting" he mentioned "Was it in —————? The year was ——- when the shooting happened and my death…day " Max said with real interest for the first half and slowed down on the last part "Yeah, It was there and I think I remember something like that my brother was —-" Nick was talking when the doors opened as they walked into another room Nick whispered "I'll talk to you later dude"

Max then looked around the room and was a bit agravated about the lack of color in room and thinking of many slurs and cussing perfusily in his head.

After calming down from his short mental rant he walked into the group of his classmates and looked around thinking about what filled the room. " What is that thing on the pedestal.' He thought at a certain area in a room a white ball on a strange platform. "That looks so smooth is that an altar and are those bones on that table?' Was what he thought.

The bones on the table were on a completely different part of the room but yes those we're bones on that table.

' What if I'm like in a demon lord version of a holy place like a cult I'm in a cult aren't I? If I exist it is possible for me to be in a coma or hallucinating before I die? I wonder if I'm talking as I'm in a coma .' Max brushed off his thoughts after thinking for a moment

soon after thinking that his eyes shifted to the man from before with some of the women the man walked forward and cleared his throat lightly " Um I'm the high priest of a temple not to far away but I'm visiting so I may not be here later but I will be the instructor of this magic test.That orb tells you if you have an aptitude for one of the basics. That being the six elements of magic and your mana… the amount of mana you have and the stations are for variants or rare magics each one operated by one of my trusted disciples." He said though as he said it Max's thoughts were thinking about how he didn't mention what type of temple he was in and so a part of his mind was thinking about demon cults but he could not get off his mind if he was dead or dying.

A random maiden in green with a apron like covering made of leather over a white shirt walked to them and politely asked for them to line up before the the orb and that's when Max noticed the beauty of the maidens each one was at the minimum a 6/10

Max inhaled and decided to focus and got to the back of the line, looking to what was going on ahead of the short line.

Nick went to the upper left side of the line and put what the old man said into more understandable words and added details saying that the orb would shine one of six main colors and possibly one for certain dectectsble variants each representing an element and with degree of light and by checking the orb they will be able to check the aptitude for it mainly by pulsing mana to see the capacity.

The rankings for the aptitude was Low to Medium to High to Full. Full meaning that is the highest percentage possible Low was the lowest you could get that's detectable and would be useful unless you had a extremely large mana capacity. Though he did not mention what each color was.
