Why?

As he lied and went to sleep. From elsewhere a shadowy figure observed a red orb as Evan was shown on the orb sleeping peacefully.

"kekeke, how about we speed it up a bit"

It said as the red light was emitted out of it, its aura converged to a physical existence as it wrapped around the orb and powered it up. The orb started to glow blood red as the images in the orb had changed.

"Whoosh"

A sword stabbed Evan out of nowhere,

"CLANG"

It was blocked by a katana,

"Hello, Evan~" A long-familiar voice sounded out... It was Kaiser!

As he looked at Kaiser he was confused yet angry as he saw him,

"How are you here?"

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Kaiser smiled deviously,

"Knive throw another, rest secure the perimeter"

SWOOSH

A sword was thrown once more at Evan, he raised his katana to block yet unexpectedly he was pushed back.

Sliding backward he saw behind him where kaiser's goons were as he looked around wary and cautious, yet he felt a violent rage threatening to explode as he could not wait to kill kaiser, who had almost caused his death if it wasn't for his father.

He would start off his revenge with him, he thought as he rushed at him.

SWOOSH

A sword sailed through the air at a faster speed than before, he only saw silver glint then-

"BAM"

His body was pinned on the wall by the sword through his arm. He finally realized he was facing C-ranks above him, yet he remembered his father, how he ran to run, live an uncomfortable life as a noble, how he had to fend for himself, how his family power was too big, how he found out his father died.

"HIYAAAAA" he removed the sword, as he didn't rush this time but headed for one of the goons in the room surrounding him. He needed a meat shield!

As he closed in, he once more was pierced by a flying sword as he got slammed into the wall.

"BAMP"

"Ughhhhh" he grunted from the pain,

He heard the small sounds of a person walking towards him, he ignored the pain as he got up. He couldn't be in a lower position for too long as it was disadvantageous. He quickly stabbed straight ahead of him where he heard the sound of walking.

"Poor poor Evan~"

"Dragon claw"

A green dragon claw once again materialized on his hands as he swiped at Evan's katana

CLANG

The sound of metal clashing as his katana was swung away in the next moment.

*Kick*

"BAM"

Evan was kicked back, slamming onto the wall again.

SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH

Four swords sailed through the air as they pinned him the exact moment he landed on the wall.

"AHHHHHHHHH"

Feeling the pain of his limbs being pierced he screamed in agony.

*Slap*

"Shut up, you scream too much" Kaiser's voice resounded,

"Dragon claw"

"RRRRRIP" His body was torn as he felt the claw digging into his skin and into his chest as chunks of flesh were ripped off as Kaiser pulled his claw out while being inside him.

"AAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEE AIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

He screamed like never before.

Kaiser smiled at this as kept repeating what he did as blood dripped from Evan and his claw.

"EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH"

Evan kept screaming over and over as he passed out from the pain.

"Give him some high-quality medicinal herbs the one that stings"

"Okay" His subordinates obeyed as they looked at such a gory scene unaffected, almost as if used to such a scene.

Knive raised his hand as a bag of medicinal herbs appeared in the air falling on the floor.

"Bam"

Soon medicinal herbs were all over Evan's body as he soon had a medicinal aroma around him. After a few minutes, he woke up.

Looking up he once more saw Kaiser and his group.

"Awake already huh~, we are going to have a lot of fun trash"

He saw Kaiser smiling face but he didn't react,

"He's trying to get a reaction from me, such a sadist," he thought,

"Oh?"

"Knive, how about you and the rest practice with this dummy bag, I'm sure flesh and blood is more satisfying to play with than a wooden dummy"

He smiled,

"Your right, young master" Knive said as four think blades of knives appeared on his hand. Then more fell on the floor as the other goons took knives as well.

Evan still hung up with the four swords already healed felt fear. Yes, fear... Looking at the uncountable numbers of sharp knives and thinking of them hitting him. He was scared as it showed on his face.

"My my, doesn't this seem familiar? Oh, I know this was also how your father died. Like father and son they say, hahahaaa. Look at you bonding"

Evan reminded of his father was both scared yet angry it was a strange feeling. He was scared of the torture that was about to come yet he was angry thinking his father had died like this.

"I swear... one day I will kill all of YOU" He slowly said as he spoke every word loud and clear.

"If you're alive by that time" Kaiser smiled as he threw a knife right at Evan's head
