Mathew woke up just before six. It was his time to wake up every day. He sat up in his bed and got up. The first thing he always did in the mornings was to use the washroom. He would wash his face and get ready for breakfast.

Breakfast was usually on Steven, but since he could sense that Steven was not home, he had to make it himself. He wasn't as good at it as Steven, Dinner was his thing.

He felt lazy so he just got some cornflakes from the kitchen and sat it on the dinner table. During his breakfast, he constantly thought about Steven. Steven was never this early. Why today? He couldn't enjoy his breakfast because of all these thoughts, so he just took a few bites and then left the dinner table.

Today was his first day at his new college. He had to be on top of his game. He wanted everyone to respect him.

He quickly got changed from his pajamas into his college uniform: A blue shirt with gray pants. He didn't like the combination but he had no say in it. Nothing he could do to change that.

College was only a few streets away, so he didn't need to hurry. He left his flat just half an hour before the start of his first-class. It was biology. He didn't like the first class but he was excited about it. He didn't know what contents he would learn. Will they be any different from the contents he learned in his high school biology.

He loved the early morning breeze. It made him ready for anything the world had for him. He was ready. He passed all kinds of people on his way but none of them had the same destination as him.

Before entering the building, he took a deep breath and studied his surroundings. He could see it was a five-story building and a pretty long building. He would love to play hide and seek in a place like this.

Now that he was ready, he slid the door opened and entered. To his right, he could see a map of the college. He studied it for a while to see anything that would benefit him. He noticed that the biology class was on the third floor.

He started heading towards his class.

Before making any progress, he spotted someone that nearly took his breath away. He couldn't believe it. It was Steven. He was sitting in the director's office. Mathew couldn't let Steven know that he was there. He hurried past the director's office and entered the elevator.

The elevator took him to the third floor where he easily found his biology class and entered.

"But you emailed me that my application has been accepted," Steven said furiously. He couldn't believe that without any reason he was denied the chance to study in London Beasts. "Surely there must be an explanation"

"Ok. I am sorry. You are accepted" John, the director, said. John was only protecting him but he hated arguing so he just gave up and let Steven study in a place where he might not survive a day or two. "Welcome"

"Thanks a lot for this opportunity," Steven said, clearly delighted. "I will make sure that you do not regret this choice" John clearly doubted that but he couldn't show it. He couldn't get on the bad side of his pupil. He was only protective.

"You can start today. But if you are not feeling it today, you can come tomorrow" John wanted him to go with the latter one. He wanted to let the others know to not do anything stupid.

"I am happy with starting today. I can get a taste for how your classes are" Steven clearly had no idea what he was getting into. He was about to put his life in danger. The danger that the school staff couldn't avoid.

"Very well then. Your first class is biology. It's on the third floor. Take the elevator" John murmured. He didn't like the idea of Steven being in this college. He didn't know how Steven had managed to track them down. His college was not known to any humans. He operated in secret. He only invited people whom he thought were no humans.

Steven exited the room and headed for the elevator. On the ceiling of the elevator, he spotted a timer that showed 23 days till full moon. That was weird. Why? Steven didn't have any answers to that question.

He exited the elevator on the third floor and spotted a door that had biology scratched on it with a knife. That was a creative way to do it.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in," An elderly man said.

Steven entered and saw an elderly man who was working out 24/7. He was looking like he could lift the entire college if he wanted to. He was big.

Steven studied his surroundings and spotted Mathew. He was sitting alone so Steven went to sit with him. Was this a coincidence? Or was it a dream?

"What are you doing here?" They both said in unison. None of them knew who should start but then it didn't matter. The professor would approve of it if any silence was broken.

"Silence" The professor snapped. He was old and all his patience had run out over the years.

There was nothing to do. They had to wait until the end of the class.

"What are you doing here?" It was Mathew who broke the silence after the professor left the class.

"I am a student now. In this college" Steven grinned. "I finally found one" Steven couldn't contain his excitement. He was feeling accomplished. He now knew that would be a straight path from now onwards.

"How did you find this place?" Mathew asked. He was worried. He didn't know how to tell him the truth. He had it hidden for the whole time he was friends with Steven. He didn't want to ruin his friendship with him. He knew Steven needed him. Now was the most he might need him than ever.

"I found it last night when I was looking for a movie on your laptop," Steven said. He was already feeling guilty about it. He didn't want Mathew to find out but he hated hiding things from him. It wasn't him. It wasn't what Steven would do.

"What" Mathew snapped. He distinctly didn't like what Steven had done. This might have put his college life at risk. He couldn't let anyone else know. Or he would be done. He would have to go to a human college.

"I am sorry. I didn't know this would happen" Steven said in a hushed voice this time. He had never seen Mathew this angry.

"You don't know the danger you're in. This is not a place for humans" Mathew had to tell him his deepest secret. Now it would have put him in danger if he had kept a secret. He had to let him know.

"I don't know what you are talking about" Steven was now shaking. He didn't know what to do. He had already paid for his first term. Now it was too late to turn back. He had to carry on.

"This college is for a supernatural creature called werewolf only" Steven got flashbacks of the nightmare he had. It all made sense now. The nightmare was a warning but he avoided it. He is in trouble and he has to fight his way through this semester.

"I am not alone. I have you" Steven said to Mathew. He meant it. He knew that he would be dead if Mathew was not here. He knew that he could trust Mathew.

Mathew couldn't let his best friend down. He had to fight his kind to save a human. A human who had been with him his whole life. A human who could study emotions better than any werewolf could. He thought of Steven as a brother.

"Always"
