Chapter 91: The Great Crisis of Paradise Island!

As the door remained ajar, Diana couldn't help but ponder. Su Sheng was never someone who could be easily understood or predicted. With a sigh, she turned to find Antiope to inquire about the island's defenses. However, after taking just a few steps, distant screams pierced the air.

"Something's wrong!" Diana's expression hardened as she sprinted toward the source of the commotion.

The screams roused others from their slumber. Hera, the shirt girl, Laura, Riley, and Valentina rushed out, their eyes widening at the sight of a massive fire in the distance, its flames lighting up the entire island like a fiery wall.

"What's happening?" Riley demanded from an Amazon warrior running by.

"That's our alarm—someone has invaded!" the warrior shouted back before continuing on her way.

Riley exchanged a quick glance with Valentina, and the two transformed into firestorms, soaring into the air.

A sea of enemies surged toward the Amazons, like a flood of nightmarish creatures. These beasts, with human bodies and animal heads, seemed like demons from the depths of hell. Though the Amazons fought bravely, the sheer number of enemies forced them to retreat gradually.

"This reeks of Poseidon's power... Did he join forces with the First Born? No, he must have been killed by him!" Hera's face paled as she spoke. The "Ocean" she referred to was Poseidon, the god of the sea.

Zeus, the king of the gods, Hades, the ruler of the underworld, and Poseidon, the god of the sea, were all of the same generation. Zeus had once imprisoned the First Born deep within the earth, with Poseidon tasked with guarding his equipment and Hades watching over the exit. Yet, not only had the First Born escaped, but he had also reclaimed his gear and started slaughtering the gods.

Looking at the monstrous horde, Hera realized that even Hades and Poseidon must have fallen. If they weren't spared, then surely the gods of Mount Olympus had also met their end.

Who could possibly stop the unstoppable First Born now?

"Su Sheng! Someone go inform Su Sheng!" Hera shouted at Laura.

Laura hesitated for a moment before sprinting toward the Disciple.

She arrived just as Su Sheng was stepping out of the ship. Taking in the chaotic scene, he frowned and muttered, "Can't catch a break, can I? Keep an eye on the Disciple," he instructed Laura before taking off, transforming into a firestorm.

In the darkness, two firestorms streaked through the sky, their flames exploding amidst the monsters below. The flames coiled around the creatures like ropes, binding them tightly. Su Sheng then ascended higher, lightning crackling around his body as if a god had descended. Thunderbolts rained down with pinpoint accuracy, striking the monsters without harming the Amazons.

Diana glanced up at Su Sheng, a small smile playing on her lips. She raised her wrists, clashing her bracelets together and unleashing a wave of golden divine power that instantly reduced the monsters before her to ashes. Drawing the Vulcan Sword, Diana leaped into the fray, cutting down enemies with precision and grace.

The Amazons shouted with unwavering bravery, not one of them retreating even as their comrades fell around them.

"Are you just going to stand there?" the shirt girl asked Hera, who, though her divine power had returned, stood indifferent with a child in her arms.

Hera shook her head, remaining silent.

"You want them to kill all the Amazons? Don't forget, the First Born won't spare you, and neither will Su Sheng!" the girl in the shirt shouted angrily.

But Hera remained unmoved.

Suddenly, a monstrous aura of hatred, so intense it seemed to alter the very color of the world, erupted.

From the blood-soaked ground, a towering figure emerged—a monster over two meters tall, its dark red flesh exposed, lacking any skin. Two long, horn-like protrusions jutted from the back of its hands, and a cloak-like appendage extended from its back, blending into its body. Black lines floated around it like tentacles. Its face was indistinguishable, but horns adorned its head.

"Ch—Chusheng?" Diana gasped in shock.

It hadn't even been a day since she last saw him. Back then, he was crude, but still human. Now, he had fully transformed into a monster. In just one day, he had slaughtered Apollo, who had become the king of the gods, the deities of Mount Olympus, and likely Poseidon and Hades as well. How powerful had he become?

Taking a deep breath, Diana shouted a battle cry and charged at the First Born.

But before she could reach him, black tentacles shot out from behind the First Born, knocking her to the ground and wrapping around her. Though it wasn't the Lasso of Truth, Diana felt her strength and life force draining away rapidly.

The tentacles suddenly retracted, and in one swift motion, the First Born impaled several nearby Amazon warriors. Their bodies withered and dried up, leaving only skeletons, which the First Born crushed without a second thought. Diana, struggling, managed to sever the tentacles with the Vulcan Sword and land on her feet, but was quickly overwhelmed by the horde of monsters.

By the time she fought her way through the monsters and caught up, the First Born was already in the central square, his hand resting on Hippolyta's head.

"Stop!" Diana screamed, rushing toward them.

The First Born's crimson eyes glanced at her coldly. He spoke with an icy, cruel tone: "I want nothing less than death for all of you. I don't want to be the king of the gods; I want to kill you all and be the only one left!"

With that, his fingers began to tighten around Hippolyta's head.

"No!" Diana's cry was filled with despair.

Suddenly, a flash of fire appeared in front of the First Born.

"She still owes me a horse, so I can't just let you kill her," Su Sheng said, delivering a punch that sent the First Born reeling backward.

Diana sighed in relief and rushed to her mother's side. But before she could process what had happened, Hippolyta, who had been turned into a statue, suddenly moved. Her eyes glowed with a blue light.

"What… What's happening?"

"Diana," the stone statue of Hippolyta said, her expression vivid and kind.

"Mother, you…" Diana began, confused.

"I don't know!" Hippolyta answered, shaking her head as she reached for a spear on the ground. "But I know that Paradise Island is inviolable!"

Her words, filled with determination, resonated with Diana, who steeled herself. The surrounding Amazons, inspired, readied themselves for battle.

And then, just as the fighting spirit reached its peak, Su Sheng spoke, his tone casual and faint:
