Su Sheng tilted back to dodge the incoming sword strike, his eyes narrowing in surprise as he looked at the woman who had attacked him.

She was clad in striking silver and black armor, wielding a long black sword with expert precision.

"Wonder Woman?"

On Earth-Two, the Justice League consisted of only three key members: Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. A woman with a sword, clad in armor, who came to Zod Chao's aid—it was easy to guess that this was Earth-Two's Wonder Woman. However, there were noticeable differences: this woman didn't resemble Diana at all. She was stunning and fierce in her own way, but it was clear she wasn't the Diana from Paradise Island.

Diana was a demigod. But this woman? She was something else entirely—a New God.

It seemed that much like Zod Chao, this Wonder Woman's origins were different on Earth-Two. But despite her New God lineage, Su Sheng noted that her abilities weren't all that impressive. She possessed super strength, a heightened physique, flight, and rapid healing, but nothing truly remarkable compared to Zod Chao.

"New Gods, huh? What's your name?" Su Sheng asked, smirking as he glanced between her and Zod Chao.

"You have no right to know my name!" she retorted, swinging her sword once more.

Su Sheng sighed and fired a laser beam from his eyes.

Boom!

She was flung back, and her sword slipped from her grasp, landing neatly in Su Sheng's hand.

"This sword's not bad," he mused, inspecting the blade. Just then, a flash of blue lightning surrounded him and Zod Chao, and in an instant, they vanished.

Watching them disappear, the woman was stunned. "That blue lightning... Could he be the Speedster? But... wasn't he supposed to be dead?"

Back in Central City, atop a rooftop, Jesse had already left, and Indigo was scouring the globe for more information.

Thud!

Su Sheng dropped the unconscious Zod Chao to the ground. Indigo noticed the sword in his hand and asked, "Did you meet Wonder Woman?"

"Yeah, she's technically this world's Wonder Woman, but hearing you call her that just feels... off," Su Sheng said, still examining the sword. "This blade isn't quite as strong as Diana's original Godkiller Sword, but it's indestructible. It also contains Apokolips' Mother Box technology—it can open boom tubes for teleportation."

"I'll take a look." Indigo's arm extended, her fingers connecting to the Mother Box technology embedded in the sword. After a brief pause, she spoke, "This is indeed Apokolips' most advanced tech. But, it's strange—the New Gods here are so much weaker than they should be. In fact, this world seems to have the roles reversed."

"In my world, the New Gods are split between New Genesis, the peaceful and beautiful realm, and Apokolips, a hellish place ruled by Darkseid. The ruler of New Genesis, Highfather, constantly fights against Darkseid. But in this world, Highfather betrayed Apokolips at a wedding by using his daughter to spy on Darkseid. She fell in love with Darkseid's son, turning against her own father."

"And in either world, Highfather and Darkseid are just avatars of their true forms. Their real strength is multiversal," Indigo added.

Su Sheng raised an eyebrow. "What's Highfather's daughter's name?"

"Bella," Indigo replied. "Why didn't you bring her with you?"

Su Sheng chuckled. "For now, just having Zod Chao as a Superman stand-in is enough. It's more fun if both sides have their aces evenly distributed."

"Let's go."

With that, Su Sheng opened a boom tube, bringing Zod Chao and Indigo back to Earth-38.

On Earth-38, in Su Sheng's apartment, he once again dropped Zod Chao to the floor. Indigo looked at him curiously, "What's the plan now? Just toss him out?"

"No, I have a better idea." Su Sheng grinned mischievously. "Since I'm now posing as an ancient Kryptonian god, it would be a shame not to play that card."

Focusing his psychic powers, Su Sheng delved into Zod Chao's mind, tampering with his memories. He erased all memories of himself and implanted a new narrative: Zod Chao was visited by the ancient Kryptonian god, the Holy Spirit, who warned him that Superman would threaten both Earth-Two and Earth-38. The Holy Spirit had tasked Zod Chao with finding and defeating Superman to save both worlds.

With the memory alteration complete, Su Sheng shrank Zod Chao down using the boom tube and teleported him away.

"As for what happens next... that's up to him," Su Sheng muttered.

Just as he finished, his phone rang. It was Alex.

Supergirl had returned from Metropolis.

"I'm heading to the DEO," Su Sheng said, vanishing in a flash of blue light as he raced across the city.

At the DEO headquarters, which was still in ruins, Su Sheng arrived to find Martian Manhunter waiting for him. "You're back. Did they find out?" Su Sheng asked casually.

Martian Manhunter remained silent, but Lucy Lane spoke up. "He had to bring Supergirl back. Although she wasn't mind-controlled, she couldn't match their strength. The Martian had no choice but to abandon his infiltration."

"How is she?"

"She's resting and will recover soon. But we have bigger problems. Metropolis was just the beginning. They plan to amplify their signal and enslave the entire planet," Lucy explained, her expression grave. "And it's not just Superman we have to worry about."

Lucy's face darkened. "Have you heard of the Cadmus Project?"

Su Sheng raised an eyebrow. "What about it?"

"Just now, the DEO's network was hacked, and a message was broadcasted. A human organization calling itself Project Cadmus has declared war on aliens. We don't know the full extent of their strength, but for them to make such a bold move at a time like this... they must be formidable."
